My old ProntoPro TSU6000 was fantastic in this regard. You could design your own tree of menu screens with custom graphics, assign macros for "activities" etc and learn any code. That was the last "universal" remote I owned that truly replaced all my other remotes and had good "Spouse Acception Factor". This thing looks pretty good.
The only issue I had with this remote was programing it. It took 4 days of hit or miss to get it right and the other thing I don't like is the backlit buttons don't light up until you press a button. So if you're like me and watch TV mostly in the dark, you still won't know if you pushed the first button you wanted to. Most other back lit remotes light up when you pick them up. Not sure what Sofabaton was thinking but it is a big disappointment.
My Harmony died about a year ago and I was just shuffling remotes for a while. This has definitely simplified things for me. I especially am a fan of the macros.

Whenever i start the activity, the Apple TV and the television will start up normal. The sound bar, however, will start up for like two seconds and turn off immediately leaving me just with the television and the Apple TV on… when I turn off the activity, the television, and the Apple TV will go off, and their sound bar will go on, leaving me with just the sound bar on. I’ve been trying this for a whole week already, and I have found absolutely no solution. I have tried all kinds of combinations within the devices themselves as as with the activity and the interaction between all the devices.😢 I’m kind of hoping that maybe any of you are there might have a suggestion thank you😊
It’s possible that CEC is turning on your sound bar when the other devices are starting and then the power ir command is then toggling it off. Try not adding the power on command for the sound bar as part of the activity and seeing if that helps. Not sure if it can be done via Sofa Baton, but used to be able to do it via Harmony. Hope it works.

I was able to get the sound bar to start together with the other devices. However, now it’s the Apple TV the one that is acting up every time I start the watch Apple TV activity on the SofaBaton, all the all devices, except the Apple TV will start up. I’ve also asked help to SofaBaton, and they have been helpful in the way that they are trying to do everything to help me however, nothing that they have advice has worked yet! They advised me to make an extra commandfor the home return button, but it doesn’t work either. I don’t know how many times I have deleted all the activities and all the devices from the remote, and started all over again, but nothing seems to help till now, someone also advise me to turn off the CEC, but all I got was lots of problems, so I had to turn it back on. Harmony was so easy and I remember a few years ago with other devices that I used to have and I was having problems with. They asked me which devices I had and then they did something from a distance sort of a protocol for those devices, and after I synchronized with what they had sent me , everything worked just fine. I wish SofaBaton had something like that. I don’t know if it’s me and my English but I think the terms of what they mean in the app it’s so difficult to follow. like you see an option “ power” but what does that mean? Does the Sofabaton still function with a receiver in a hidden closet? I’m searching for something to control my television volume without having to run to a closet each time. Any recommendations?
I’m not sure what you mean by digital buttons. It does allow you to do macros, and/or re-program any of the buttons. And multiple of the buttons have dual function. If you need any of the buttons that are missing on your remote control, you can just go back to devices and select a device. It’ll have every one of your buttons on the original remote. I’m not real concerned about not being able to back up. it’s pretty easy reconfigure. The only thing that I wish I could back up are the macro buttons I create.

@@Toid interesting. I can already voice control the lights separately or put them in a Google routine so not a big deal. Govee lights are on my wishlist as well though and those would be good to control. One more question; on Amazon it lists the x1 with different versions (IR, Bluetooth, and something else). Which version is yours?

Harmony was great would have been awesome if they kept going but sofabaton is great. So far still good with the U1 but X1 looks awesome

No I haven’t. I just thought that since it works well as the device itself, it wasn’t needed.

Yes it will. You just need to use the IR blaster on the receiver

I do not know for sure. The only ones I know that it can control are the Philips Hue. I know it can't control my Amazon basic or Insteon Lights.
