Kawi really stepping it up
I've never owned a kawi but I'm very interested with this one !
Only imagine if these companies put all this r&d into 2 strokes over the years.

This bike is awesome I want one. I have a 2012 kx250f and if I had to guess I'd say it has around 200 hours and still running strong this bike is set up for single track so it doesn't get the abuse of a race bike but I did have a zx7 when I was young and beat the living hell out of it and it kept running great so I think kawi builds a great mechanical master piece of a machine!
I hope they make a street legal version to compete with the new Honda crf450 and the Yamaha Wr. I wish the would bring back the 500.
One mean looking bike and I'm a Yamaha guy but l don't know wow Kawasaki has definitely stepped up there game and l think it's going to be a good year for them.
Kawasaki have done a great job. It's about time the Japanese manufacturers tried to step up.

Ive had alot of bikes and lately got a 2015 KXF and i can say that i love it.Its awesome
Chuck a KX500 motor in it and I'll buy one tomorrow. More power, less complexity and...that 2 stroke sound, magic.
They had to put a dirt bike sticker on the front fender it just in case someone got confused. I would have never guessed that it is a dirt bike,,,hehehehehe

Looks Like an awesome bike! Like a lot of other people said its time that the Japanese have stepped up there game! I have a 2012 KX 450 with a lot of hours on it and also a 2018 YZ 450... I dont know about anyone else out there but to me it the 2012 kawi was, and still is the most powerful stock 450 motor I ever drove along with being super reliable just like the yamaha.... I had all the bikes and I dont care what anyone says no Ktm or Husky is reliable as any Japenese bike! Especially a Yamaha.... Kawasaki or Honda!
Its still an F with or without the F, it will never be just a KX no matter what the marketing department says!

Hmm, a modern 250f will equal or lap faster than a 250 2 stroke. New 450s will be way faster especially at high corner speed. Things have moved on.

Ktm has had all these features already, I think kawi was a little behind and the other Japanese bikes still need all these upgrades
So obviously they plan on never having the 2 stroke kx line in the future...

whats with everyone sucking off ktm. my lil brother wanted to get into racing we couldnt afford new ktm but kawi no problem. ktms is for guys who buy a new bike every 2 years or so after a few years parts are harder to get and everything. i can still get everything i need for my 01 rm125 try finding certain parts for old ktm good luck.....

I'm sure it's a great bike- but for any mfg to constantly "change" to All-New stuff, makes it very costly and difficult for previous model owners to be able to afford to buy parts (other than brand new OEM, of course.) Not all of us can afford everything new as far as replacement parts. This is why I stick with my "ancient" YZ250. I can put years of parts ranges on it, not worry about being able to find parts if I am in a pinch, and I am still pleased as peach with the bike (that I have owned since 2008.) Most of us "regular riders" have no use for the killer stuff these mfg put on these $10,000 "toys." Yet another reason why this sport is dying a speedy and harsh death. No thanks.
Kawasaki dropped the F, and I dropped Kawasaki and bought a Husky 2 stroke.

Electric start and hydraulic clutch? That’s all that makes it special? So Kari puts two items on their brand new bike and it’s basically the same? C’mon it’s totally different. Aluminum frame and spring fork are the polar opposites of the KTM chassis

Tommy Kennedy I mean bars are kinda something that are up to the riders. I personally have used pro taper fat bars on my 85 and they were nice but when I got my 250f went with the 7/8 renthal and love it

I think with dungey and everts helping with ktm over the years they have really turned orange ship around. I remember racing in the early 2000’s and ppl would almost laugh if you showed up with a ktm just on how ill handling they were at the time.
