It's January 31st of 2018, I just got this game and I'm having this same exact problem. I bought this game. At the main menu it told me I couldn't connect to the servers, and there was an option to play offline. I select play offline. Whatever, I don't care, I just want to play. I played the first few missions, the "training" ones. When I get to the first real mission, it is locked. I find out that it is MANDATORY that you connect to their servers to play, if you are offline 90% of the game is locked to you. What in the actual fuck is this horse shit? Is this a fucking joke? My connection is fine. I was connected to Xbox Live, I guess it's a problem with their servers. I literally can't play the game that I fucking paid money for. Do not buy this game. The developers need to be punished for this bullshit practice. I wish I could demand my money back, but I didn't buy a physical copy. It's a download. To say that I'm infuriated right now, would be an understatement. What I'm feeling right now is beyond rage. I will not be giving this game a second chance. 0/10. Also I won't be buying any future releases to this franchise. They just lost a fan. I will not spend one more cent on this franchise, and I hope the game devs burn in hell.
