I've got a Samsung 592-49032 and it won't balance itself, it will spin and shake and try rebalance and then quit. I replaced the 4 shock absorbers, it helped a bit, but still shakes bad when spinning. Is it possible that the 2 suspension springs are just getting weak and not supporting enough? Our washer is approx 10 years old. Or what else could cause it to shake bad?@@appliancepartspros
great idea using the wood to support the drum, the string idea is very good as well. two thumbs up.
Thank you for your great advice, my washing machine is now fixed!
Made to look easy and it was very easy many thanks
You're welcome!
Worked like a champ! Thank you so much for this !
Thank you - worked a treat!
How do we know if the springs are bad or good.
What is your model number of the washer?
Model numbers is wf218anw
The only way to tell if these springs are bad is to just look and see if they are worn out. These types of springs don't normally go bad.
