If yours has a bit more hours / mileage on yours than the video above, I suggest removing your muffler and checking the exhaust port for clogging due to soot in the port. Mine started but maintained very low rpm. Yes i had the capacitor problem too, first. Move to 450w capacitor. Mine has been in service for over 12 years.

How to clock pasting and rings
Nice video sir,
One safety precaution thou is when testing the spark plug of starting coil, ensure the area is dry from fuel, cause one spark can ignite fire.

Great video man, thank you. Hey man, I've got a Ryobi 950W 2 stroke generator, it starts but it won't stay running. Might you have any idea as to what the problem might be?

Pls sir... can AVR be d problem of thermocool oga 6900ES, 1) sometime d light go off & on after some hours of work, 2) if using it to pump water d Generator will start shaking & d pump machine is 1.5hp

Where does the oil come from
My small tiger generator crank and start but cut off again,
I just change the crank shaft completely since then my gen is not working well any longer...if it work for some minute, it will stop again, and I will start and it won't work, what could be the problem please...or is it the crank shaft I change, or can I go and fix the connecting rod for the old one and fix that
After checking all these issues and fixing a new oil seal, is there a possibility for the gen to not turn on?

The magnets provides the magnetising force needed to produce spark from the plug
Can a broken flywheel key in two stroke generator make it not to start?
