There are a couple of things to note. First off, the speed of the engine is directly related to the line frequency produced. Many motors, like those in a refrigerator/freezer or, a fan, are frequency specific. Lowering the speed of the generator also lowers the speed of these induction motors, regardless of voltage. Second off, the screw you pointed out only controls the idle mixture of the carburetor. When loaded, the mixture is controlled by a main jet located inside the float bowl. To change the fuel mixture while loaded, it is necessary to change the aperture size of the metering jet located in the same tube that the bolt threads into, that holds the float bowl on. You are spot on, with the fuel consumption being dependent on the load. Every generator in the world has a 'best efficiency point' called Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, which is an operating condition where the generator will put out its absolute maximum kilowatt hours, per Liter of fuel consumed. That normally occurs at about 70-80% of its maximum rated power. To save fuel, it's important, to choose the smallest generator that will power the load reliably. Running a large generator lightly loaded will consume more fuel, than a smaller generator running closer to its rated power.
you are spot on with your Analysis, however just to be sure of how the screw works, try loosening it and compare the fuel consumption...you will notice a big differential. Thanks for your input vincent
This video is amazing. That screw in the carburetor, I think it's the Idle screw that allows fuel to enter then generator even when the butterfly valve is completely closed. So the generator won't turn off if it's the speed is too low
Remember that according to Faraday's law the absolute value or magnitude of the circulation of the electric field E around a closed loop is equal to the rate of change of the magnetic flux through the area enclosed by the loop. So if you decrease the speed, you decreases the induced EMF and invariably the power. It is also linked to the First Law of Thermodynamics.

hi engr Benco , that flat screw head bolt to tighten in the carburetor to reduce fuel consumption, where could i find it in the sumec firman spg 1800 pro max , cuz I've checked on it, i found only star head bolt at the bottom of the carburetor , i didn't see any at the top beside the combustion chamber zone in the front like it's shown in the video . I'm eagerly waiting for your response . Thanks .
running watts is the continuous power(watts) the generator can produce while starting watts is the generator peak power(watt) which is a momentary boost to power motor driven appliances like some refrigerators... you know this motor driven equipment requires a large amount of power for a short period of time to start running so that is where the peak watts come into play
Good day, how do I go about a generator making an unusual sound when trying to turn on with its remote and end up not coming up but turned off when using the remote to turn it off after a manual start.
Oh Sumec fireman has their peculiar brand of Engine oil... That will be fine if you can get it.... In Absence of that i will advice you go with Golden super ..
