That was a stressful one to watch. Poor white doubled up on the 4 ore that only rolled twice. It would have been a much better game if they'd been able to fight for army.
23:40 why didn't you place your road to block blues settle spot on the 9?
Yea that was a mistake, also would have opened the settle on the 3-1 which obviously could have helped later on.
Once again, it was a though pick as 4th, but I don't like your choice of 10-9-11, taking 2 ore spots having 0 wheat. I would have taken 9-6-2. Reason being that at least you almost monopolize brick which you will be able to trade for wheat or sheep. Also paired 6s on wood/brick should give you better chances to expand... once you get the 9-6-12 you have also 9s paired on wood brick (none is going to take that spot anyways). At that point good luck stealing road from you. Consider that by leaving red 9-6-2 instead you had to battle him all game for it.
Also brick port was an option. Of course for this to work you relied on the 6 to roll in quantity and not get blocked but that's a gamble you have to take.

very close game, which you might have won if Blue and Red didn't give each other so good trades early on.. you made a good comeback after that slow start!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Knight, vp, or mono would have been great to slow red. If vp it makes the chances of someone pulling for the win way lower. If mono, it could literally give you two points in one turn depending on what you mono and when. Knight is always good as well to slow red. Your production was already high without the city so it's just a matter of limiting what red or blue are able to do. Maybe I'm wrong though.
