    Glad I've got my 2022 Trixx. When you say older, remember that except for color, the 22 and 23 Trixx are identical.

      the trixx was identical since 2017 except some add-ons like the speaker and of course the colors 🔥🔥

      I'd be tempted to look for a closeout 22/23 model of the Trix, but I really don't like the mass of black plastic used on those model years. We all know how black plastic fares in the sun over time. I like the teal/red used in previous years though.@@WeTryMotorsports

    I have a a green '23 just like urs I ordered the new '24 in red and white. Design wise I don't like the round edges on the 24 but all the other features that come with it makes it worth it for me

      let us know how the VTS and iBR work out! that's the ONLY thing i'm wondering. That's the largest "upgrade" they have so far

      I have a few hours on my 2024 1 up and it is amazing. The nose dives are a blast to do (submarine mode.) what you do is cruise along at a good pace then hit the brake then slam the throttle. The nose will go completely underwater. Also reverse donuts all you gotta do is turn the bar all the way to the side, hold the reverse and gas at the same time wide open. Spins in circles very fast. Worth every penny!!

    I'd be interested in seeing you install one of those bluetooth amp and speakers in the kicks. Regardless your trixx looks sweet. I have 2 sparks tuned and just cant justify the more than double cost for the trixx. I would be on marketplace for a rxt or limited 300 if i'm going to spend over 10. I'm always hurting myself on the sparks as it is with a huge ass smile on my face.

    I actually like the smoother lines of the new model. I’d like to see an on-water demo of the mechanical improvements of the 2024 model.

    As a current waveblaster 1 owner there is no other oem experience out there even close. I bought a waveblaster and restored it with aftermarket pipe head ignition pump prop and engine rebuild for less then what you have in that Rubbermaid ski. I took a 760 that is 90 hp and built it. The spark 3up is only 90hp so now i have over the hp of a spark and im over 100lbs lighter then a spark for the price of your add on speakers you can ad a freestyle trim to the blaster and do tailstands just like the spark. I see no point in owning one. You want a new 2023 model well ricketer has a mx1 and krash has tje reaper that ar both ready to run and are around the 12-13k price range juat like the new spark will be out thw door and there will be know fading plastic issues 😂 i wouldn't waist my time with another seadoo i would get that blaster like you want and get a reaper or a mx1. If not jetblaster. Its a yamaha we all know there way more dependable then seadoo. 😂

      None of the models you mention are in any sense "family friendly" and they occupy an entirely different market from the Spark/Trixx. Apple to oranges.

    • @WeTryMotorsports
      @WeTryMotorsports  Рік тому +2

      man there's a lot of weird false information in here lol. I'm happy to chat about the differences but fading plastics or 90hp spark is a laughable take. as the other commentator said on here : apples to oranges. these are not the same skis, or even try to be. the jetblaster was a massive let down because it was supposed to be the new Wave blaster but Yamaha just can't figure it out. instead they carbon copied the trixx and tried to sell it as innovative lmao. regardless, I'm not here to argue waveblaster vs spark. I equally love both machines but they are different! now the take with reliability, fading and plastic just tells me you've never been on one and may even envy one. do yourself a favor, look at the machines through a different lens before leading the blind. my spark with very MINOR changes are 120hp 😂. no motor upgrades, just tunes.

      @chrisw7642 why aren't they? My wife son and I ride my blaster with ease. My wife and I are over 40 and don't work out. It is simply skill that you need and if my 40 year old wife can I say that's pretty friendly. U don't buy a blaster or a spark for hauling family around pulling tubes amd wakeboards you buy the bigger models. The spark and blaster were made for tje freestyle enthusiasts, not let me tow my 8 year old on a tube. Hell even seadoo advertised it as a dirt bike style handling. They offer one 1up now just like the b1 blaster 🤣 family friendly 🤣

    • @chrisw7642
      @chrisw7642 Рік тому +1

      MX1 and Reaper are single-seat hardcore freestyle machines, not something you can take your 6-year-old nephew for a ride on. Or pull him and his sister on a tube. Which yes, I plan to do when I buy a Spark Trixx, which is perfectly capable of doing that. There's literally nothing about the MX1 or Reaper that appeals to me as a middle-aged first-time PWC shopper. This is the same line of thinking I see when someone asks about a Mustang GT convertible and someone replies "Why not just get a Kawasaki Ninja, it's way faster!" :/@@jeffbryner5355

      @@jeffbryner5355 actually the spark is "rec-lite" meaning it was designed as entry level recreation machine. the original spark was $4999. the trixx was made because the community started making them into a hybrid freestyle machine for a low entry cost. in order to appeal to a broader crowd, seadoo marketed the spark with dirt bike style handling because the community basically drove them to. I can ride a waveblaster without issue, hell I've had 10 of them. it's a very simple ski to handle if you wanted to put it into a class with standup skis (which you can't). I can tell you for sure they are not even remotely close to the same category of jet skiing. I appreciate the different models for what they are. the spark is not designed as a waveblaster wannabe. the jet blaster is designed to be a spark trixx wannabe. those are the differences

      I tried a jet blaster, I really think they're too heavy or "lunky" feeling. nothing like the old version skis from the 90s and not a light as the trixx. I have not tried an upgraded EX / Jet blaster though. it's not my style really. I have a few skis I'm giving a whirl to 👀

      not too much different imo. I had multiple 2ups. the rear panels can be removed from the 3up and it turns into a 2up haha. I spoke my reasons why I need a 3 up though. I prefer the 2up for sure
