    I've done this kind of hip grind a lot but I was never able to make it look any better than a beginner's. But your explanation of it is so helpful and informative, you explain really well what is happening physically, and I understand how to refine the moves now. I love how smoothly your hips roll, it's like watching liquid! My goal is to be that flawless someday. Your dancing is an inspiration!!

    Thank you for this video! You are an excellent instructor. I have searched and searched for a video to learn this move, however none of the videos were as detailed as yours. You isolate each step of the move and build upon it. I also appreciate the use of the mirror. It is so much easier to follow your motions from behind, but also have a view of what you are doing in front. Well done, and many thanks :)

    Hi Coco, thanks for giving other women a chance to exercise while having fun! Belly dancing has made me accept my body contour. Ladies of different heights, sizes and ethnicity can dance to stay fit and feel good :-)
    By the way, do you sell exercise pants like the one you're using in this video? Thanks!

    Thank you Bella! Unfortunately most bellydancers don't know the core of this amazing movement, so I called it the secrets of the hip circle ;)

    Hey! I have been dancing many years already, but Im going to start teaching beginners.. Do you have any suggestion for me ? I have been teaching before but they already knew how to dance belly dance.. I already forgot what I learned when I just start dancing.. Luckily your videos have really basic stuff, but do you have any other suggestion for example music, how to make the whole lesson goes really smoothly and which movements I should start teaching first and are kind of connected with each other? Thank you in advance you are doing great job!(:

    • @cocoberlin

      You mean you love to do it with your knees?

    • @user-xk6rl3iy6l
      @user-xk6rl3iy6l 3 роки тому

      @@cocoberlin 1i wrote it wrong loool no what i mean is i thought we should move hips without moving knees because sometimes i move my knees, like up and down

    • @cocoberlin
      @cocoberlin  3 роки тому

      Biomechanical it makes more sense to move from the knees. It’s more efficient and healthier for your hips and knees at the same time. +as you advance you will have your hip muscles, abs and obliques free for layering different moves on top, like camels or belly rolls 🥰
