Our church has done a clothing swap where the ladies in the church bring any clothes they're ready to get rid of and everyone can take what they need. It makes an awesome mom's night out and blesses others.
I often create wishlists on Amazon. It is interesting to look back on and see how many items are unnecessary. It also helps for bday ideas or mother's day gifts for my husband.
During the winter months, we bundle up with clothing and blankets vs relying solely on the heater. Living in Houston, it doesn't last long. Now the summer time is another story. I feel like we wear as little clothing as possible and close up the windows to deflect the heat. It's like being a vampire trying to avoid the sun. 😂
Growing up, my mom was on a tight budget as a single parent. I remember casseroles as a staple. She would make 2-3 different ones and we rotated them throughout the week. Milk was the drink option, and water after that. Maybe a piece of bread with butter on the side at times. We were always well fed. Fast food was not a thing in my mom's eyes. I need to get back to the basics. It is too easy for me to grab a frozen pizza or frozen meal vs. from scratch. Life can ebb and flow with our energy and priorities. ❤
As a teacher, I receive an abundance of chocolate from students. ❤ my daughter loves it. I too feel the need to not waste it. I find myself sharing it with others as often as possible. The temptation and availability is not good for us. Moderation...

I would love to see a video about how you decide to do your haul or more or less tips to budget to shop monthly when you’re a weekly shopper.
I'll put on the list 😀

Yes definitely can have seasons of other priorities 😀
I love creating an Amazon List it also helps when I want to do retail therapy. I come back 48 hours and most of the time don’t buy anything.
💯 exactly
