Patrice has definitely helped me in my life generally especially my thinking when it comes to women. I grew up without a father/ sensible uncles or positive male role models around, so I grew up by trial and error when making life decisions. In my opinion, he sacrificed money for righteousness/consciousness which is very hard to do. Patrice long after his death is helping men of different nationalities/ races all over the world today.

In all my years of appreciating Patrice O'Neal, what I think he taught the world was you could find happiness through being honest and that you could lead people to happiness by being honest with them... especially when honesty was the hard thing to do. Being honest about yourself, your intentions, how you feel about something or just telling something to someone that they REALLY need to hear and nobody is brave enough to do it because they think it might be insensitive. I think how unhappy and outraged people always are has a lot to do with people being too scared of reality and too scared to deal with the truth. I really wish he had written a book or had someone ghost write it or something. The guy had a lot of wisdom to share, and as he got better at his craft, he really got to the bottom of important things. I miss ya man.

26:00 is a great take on the gay issue - "why do I have to respect you because you sleep with the same gender?!" Don't make me have to respect you b/c of that. I'm not - what's your platform?!
So true - he encapsulates it well - "do what you want to do - I don't care." But to Patrice, he respected people based on their individual merits. There was no way he was going to be cowed into supposedly respecting people as a group simply because political correctness said he had to. He was just fiercely honest with himself and had great integrity.

Sadly a lot of these influencers in the manosphere do not have the authenticity and righteousness that Patrice had. That’s why it’s so hard for me to say these guys now making money in the manosphere are legit, really most of them are just faking it till they make it The reason why these guys are second to Patrice is because Patrice was saying this and not getting platformed like these guys now but because he wanted to help. He didn’t sell them books or classes or boot camps or webinars. He just spoke from his heart

@@raw5889 Not 140 as that's Jordan Peterson level, but I'd put him at 130 and it may or may not be a tiny bit less like 128. What Patrice had in addition to IQ is that he was insanely intuitive and creative, and a sharp mind combined with unhinged creativity is a very powerful mix. Especially for comedy of all things, all the greatest comics are quite smart. IQ isn't enough for creativity or comedic ability, so he was lucky enough to have both. And on top of that he had the attitude, confidence and honesty go a long way.
