Well... I'm sure you try man, you try and that is good enough for you and me and most people.... but his concept of "righteous" is a pretty high mark, even he couldn't live up to it all the time, but he constantly tried. Love that man. Tell me though if you are of a mind, I would love to have this discussion with people who knew of him more than me and have probably seem more of him than me, or people who actually knew him in the flesh... what exactly did he mean by righteousness, being "righteous"?? I started watching him to get his female perspective, al his take on relationships etc, and from that I took that he said be righteous as be more sure of yourself, don't doubt yourself so much, if you want pussy tell her you want pussy, though you might calibrate it to the woman, also don't sell yourself so fast because you're more able and valuable than you think, if a thing or observation applies to a woman, it also applies to your sisters and mother, that shocked me quite a bit, but I learned it and accept it. He also meant by righteous that you gotta do what you want to do in life and not be something society or someone tells you to be, don't be a soldier if you're a comedian, etc etc... Please tell me what YOU understand when he says be righteous?? I truly want to have this conversation with you and whomever reads this far into this long ass message!! --->>LOL
@@ggrthemostgodless8713 great message man. I'd definitely like to discuss more in depth. I consider everything you've said to be part of being righteous. He says it in the interview. To be completely honest with yourself and live your best life. In summary, to me, it means living a life where I can never be called a hipocrite. Cultivate strong solid values, live by them, be honest and direct. Be you. Know thyself.
For example. I have a rotation. But no one in my rotation doesn't know they are in a rotation. They choose to remain. Those who aren't interested, I pass on.
Patrice was so brilliant! Much lost when he passed, we are all lucky he has the legacy of hours of videos cataloguing his philosophies and ideologies! RIP Patrice! You are respected and your special will live on as one of the best of all time. The most respect and legendary status for Mr. O’Neal!
Patrices take on race issues, are superb.. very brilliant, in fact. So brilliant that we all(every race) come together, and agree with Patrice. He was on to something powerful, but we lost him too soon- he was on the verge of being a A+ celebrity with a relevant message that could’ve possibly changed the world in a way. Who knows, but I hope we can all carry the torch, and remember his words- don’t distort, or twist them to fit a narrative, or your skewed worldview, or political view. Let’s just come together, and embrace The Patrice O’Neal philosophy.
thank you for posting this interview . Patrice was a prophet put here to educate men on how things work with women and their mind set as well as other things. all mankind is better off from hearing his revalations!!! rest in power black Philip

@@ChrisMcloviification there’s 7 hour videos of Patrice, it’s in my playlist called “Patrice O’Neal”- I update it daily every time I come across Patrice content. I do it for all of us Patrice fans, so we can just have a playlist to sit back, and let play while in traffic on the way to work, or on the way home- especially for truck drivers for the long haul.
Patrice wanted to change peoples views, and he did! Way more than he ever thought he would. His philosophy is the forefront of mgtow, and also, many other eye opening theory's.
I’ve only heard of Ron & Fez canonically through Opie & Anthony, but Ron’s sentiment in the intro and professionalism through the interview has me curious enough to check out Ron & Fez and of course, to check out more Unmasked, this was good.
the dude had come to close to the real in his own articulated way that people were so inspired by, for good reason. I believe they took him out because of his relevance and what was at stake and the changes that they made towards turning us into cowardly, informed slaves
Oh I see now, lmao, I just got the part of the video where he stated that. My apologies, Josh, I get it now. I erased my other reply. Good on you, mate!
Patrice actually admits there's special treatment when it comes to black people, by saying "we own language, that's our reparations" cuz you don't get fired or banned for being "racist" like others do.
27:00 if patrice was still around that movement would of happened. In a honest and correct way. What could have been if he was here with the topics of the past 10 years..... he not bigoted or he would say the honest truth
Patrice was very smart about some things, and had an excellent brain, but he was also very ignorant about plenty of things. If he didn't get something, a lot of the time he spoke out of fear.
10:00 "....my mother didn't support me THEN, she supports me NOW... a dream is something you have by yourself... that's the same thing as saying I wanna do something besides be what's already planned out for me... this here is a leap of faith, and you just keep falling... " Isn't that some shit..... wow!! He was/is incredible, who else said (or says) shit like that?? Mostly he's that reluctant leader, even now.
And he's superbly respected for who is. He's been a great influence and it's led me to live a "righteous" life.

Theres a Patrice size hole left in comedy and culture that no one since has been able to fill. Truly the GOAT

This is one of my favorite Patrice appearances. His energy and clarity here are sharp as a knife.

I wonder how he'd handle it today? In stride, I'd assume.
Patrice O'Neal would probably be very proud of the work Dave Chappelle has been doing 👏🏾
Patrice really should have done celebrity fit club though that would have been a mind-blowing bit
