I so admire the three of you. You are young enough to be able to make this style of living work for all of you. William will be so blessed growing up on the canals of England with his mum and dad with him.
Nice to see you folks again. Thanks for sharing some of your time with us. 👍 It must be difficult living, filming, editing...but be assured there are a lot of grateful people out here. Thank you.
Jo, Vic, what a lovely Vlog. William looks adorable when he smiles at his Mummy and Daddy and you can see how much he has grown. Love your Vlogs. Good to see Holly today. Take care all three of you.
Now, now. On the old working boat families lived and survived in a tiny living space because most of the boat was for cargo.. you will do just fine. You aren’t even to the point of stepping on Hotwheels monster trucks( one sitting beside my iPad now) in the middle of the night in bare feet. Or having a bed full of stuffed animals with a bridge made of pillows and playing Pooh sticks. My little Zella just measured, grew a full inch in a little over one month.
Oh, my goodness! I enjoyed every second of this vlog. Thank you so much for posting it so we could see how y’all are doing, all three of you. Space is at a premium, and I have no doubt that you two will continue to figure it out. That little boy is one adorable little boy. Much like his parents! See y’all next time.
Hi Family!!! I LOVED this video!!! William is just the sweetest baby! He is so handsome. I remember when our kids were babies and trying to visit our parents. It always seemed like we were moving in by the time we took all the paraphernalia we needed for the babies. We had a small Rambler car at that time and there was hardly room for us in the car once it was loaded. It really only lasts a short time, so take heart. You are doing such a good job being Mum and Daddy!!! Every day is a gift. Just keep enjoying him like you are now. Time goes way too fast. I just love seeing your videos. My Grandkids are your age, so the baby is a joy for me to watch. Thank you. I used my HOLLY bag today to take beading supplies to a friend's house for our group crafting day. Everyone asked about it, so I gave your vlog a huge plug! I told them how much I enjoy it. They may be tuning in! I hope so. Please email me with Williams statistics so I can complete a gift for you all. You still have my email, I think. Keep up the good work!!!!
Williams having a conversation and getting involved. A big bed! he's growing up so fast. Vic's going to have to live on Holly if William gets any more stuff ;) Lovely to watch your vlogs. Best wishes
I often wondered what the difference was between a rock crawling 4 wheel drive and a baby's pram. Now I know. Its the custom cup holder. Great vlog. Cheers
We bought our three grandchildren a Stokke chair each (other chairs are available) from birth. They are so versatile and they used them up to age 9. The chairs were then sold and because they had been kept in good condition they made almost as much as when they were bought new. Your son has the cutest expressions. I can see you having lots of fun adding stuff to the vlogs to show his reaction. Enjoy this precious time, it passes so quickly. xx
Well I just learned what a Stokke Chair is!! :D Talk about a NECESSITY!!! Of course, it is too late for that ship, it sailed 15 years ago, they are grown~ But those are a pretty cool design, I'm guessing they aren't common in the U.S. ... most cool things are NOT found here. First site that came up with them is Bergdorfs :D Think I'll check out the bedding
@@aftonhalters they are not cheap, but they are so well made and last for years from birth up to around 12 years. The style never goes out of fashion. I can recommend them.
Oh wow cherish every day they grow up so fast our lovely little boy is now suddenly grown up and at university . Your vlog makes me reminisce. Take care .
Hi guys, wow William does grow so quickly he's really becoming quite a character as he grows. I'm wondering when Holly will be opening up for business again ,I'm guessing there is not enough towpath traffic for now. Perhaps a Widebeam is in your future to solve the space problem? I can see Vic doing another reno project just to keep his hand in *L* . Loved this vlog its really captured the family feeling ...luv it.Take care keep warm . Cheers from Canada
At the beginning I watch you and Jo work on the boat and making coffee and cakes to sell. But in all honesty I just can’t wait to see William. What a sweet little boy and his wonderful parents. William makes a lot of sense when he talks also. I need that sense at my age. Makes living all worthwhile.
This was an absolutely wonderful Vlog. Loved your new opening. The footage of Oliver…I mean William 😁😊 was adorable. He has grown so much and is very attentive. Thank you for sharing this. 😊
Hi Jo saw you the other day at the bus stop top of lock lane , I felt I wanted to sound my horn and wave and then suddenly thought you don't know me 😂 hope you all well, better weather is on your way.
Love it love it, every tiny bit and William is a star. Now William tell Daddy it's gland packing that string stuff. I know brain freeze very well. Stay warm
Jo & Vic. You make wonderful parents, William is adorable ❤ Such a super sweet video. Take Care, Stay Warm, and Love & Enjoy each other each and every day. 👋 😊 💛
What a beautiful family video with all the trials and tribulations of family life, condensed onto a narrowboat. Great fun for us watching so thank you for sharing. William is coming on very well and his smiles and giggles are gorgeous. Take care with all that ice.
I adore those chairs, they grow with your child and I had three of them in my daycare until I retired in 2020. I kept one of the chairs for me and I’m 69 next month, because I find it so comfortable for me!❤️
Great choice of chair, we still use ours purchased in December 1999.It comes in handy as a step ladder ,computer chair and extra seating around the dining table,👏👏👏

When I saw the preview of this video I couldn't resist jumping forward from April 2021 to see William! He's a strapping lad - with his parent's dispostion! You're meeting the challenges of another "body on board" with the same determination you've applied to solving the many other demands of living on a narrowboat. I couldn't have done it, and my admiration for your achievements is boundless. It looks as though you're back in the mooring of a year ago, so I'd best return to April 2021 and discover what I've missed! 😊
We had a chair that clamped to any table when our daughter was William's age. Didn't take up much room. We also had a swing seat that hung from the door frame.
I love your videos. We live on our 38' sailboat and so much of what you say is so true to living in our small space. And life changes and we need to change with it. Covid has kept us from going too many places, although so far we haven't gotten it, thankfully. But it's easy to accumulate more stuff, haha!!! Enjoy every minute, life goes by so fast. 🙏❤️🤗
Aw. William is growing so fast, I can't believe it. He is so alert and so handsome. The things that accumulate with a child. We only raised one in a small house and by the time he was 5, we had so much stuff. We did the same thing: got rid of our stuff to make room for his. And the older they get, the more "they get". lol Take care you "3". Stay warm and safe out there. Sandy from US
Another lovely video of family life. Isn’t William growing and doesn’t he look happy and bright. You’re both coping so well with the huge changes in your lives. Roll on the warmer days of spring and summer. Take care. See you again soon.
Hey guys, I’m sure that this is thought of, or sorted by now. But … re heating Holly during the winter. IIRC you have a Webasto water heater? I fitted a nest thermostat to mine, both for the timer and remote operation. Also, if you dont have radiators on her, I fitted a blower box on my NB in the galley, in addition to radiators. They work REALLY well, I was amazing. So one or two of those in parallel to your calorifier piping. Sorry if this is old news… catching up! Oh PPS, if you’ve not done it, put a heat exchanger in line before the calorifier. It gives you a combi boiler type effect, limitless hot water in ten minutes instead of waiting for the tank to warm up.
