      @@cherylminaya7276 Hahahah I honestly don’t know how I managed to handle 2 almost at the same time before. But now it’s much easier. So long as you train them early and set your boundaries and rules with them. Once they are much older it doesn’t feel like I have 3 except for when I have to groom them. I just space out grooming them assigning 1 day for each so I don’t burn myself out. 😂

    Hi Poodle Mom. I really love your videos upon preparing for the arrival of our new toy poodle pup for my daughter. They're absolutely helpful. I just would like to ask how long did you train them for each trick? Does each trick need to be mastered before moving to the next? Thanks and more power to your channel.

    • @poodlemom
      @poodlemom  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Diana! Thank you so much for supporting the channel! I am so happy to hear that you find good use for the videos! For the tricks, it depends. Sit only took 1 day XD, so did lie down and stand. I think it will depend on how complex the trick you wish to teach them.
      But Poodles learn really fast. You'd be surprised hahah My biggest surprise was how fast they learned the talking buttons. I was expecting months of no if not little progress. But it took only less than a week for them to adapt to it.

    Hey Poodle Mom, do I need to get grooming supplies if my puppy is 8 weeks old? I don't think I need to get the grooming supplies right now then, I think i'm gonna wait for my puppy to grow up a little and then take it to a professional once and see what they do, then get my own supplies. Can you approve my list for everything im getting, (excluding the grooming supplies)
    Dog Bed- $15
    ID Tag- $13
    Collar & Leash- $16
    Bowls- $12
    Slip Leash- $10
    Dog Lead- $11
    NylaBone- $5
    Kong- $7
    Microfiber Towel- $8
    Cleaner- $10
    Puppy Pads- $20
    Harness- $12
    Fountain- $24
    Clicker- $4
    Toys, Treats, Potty Bags- $60
    Shampoo- $21
    Carrier- $20
    It totals to around $260, what do you think I should get other than this, what should I exclude and what do you think im cheaping out on or something im spending too much money on? (I already have a crate)

    • @poodlemom
      @poodlemom  3 роки тому

      Hi there! LOL! You are too cute! Thank you for trusting me. I think your list is fine. If you wanna save some buck, you do not need the Dog Bed, Nyla Bone, Dog Lead (this is for show dogs) You have more than enough leashes. The harness can also be bought later when your pup is full grown. I find it wasteful to keep buying then they outgrow the necessary stuff. But that's just me hahahahah!
      For grooming, first ask yourself if you plan to groom them yourself. If you are the type who can afford to send your pup to the groomer weekly, then you do not need to buy grooming products. But if you are like me trying to save some money then yes you do. But just the basics, these are what I use as these will last your their lifetime XD

    This video is super informative and will try all your tips with my 3 months old pup! I thought at first that there’s something wrong with her and watching this and reading the comments make me feel relieved! I have one question po, my pup bites my pants/PJs and wont let go and she growls while doing that, I tried changing shorts nalang then she’d bite my feet/legs naman with growl pa. She keeps on doing it even if I correct her / redirect 🥲 I wonder if its normal and I’m scared it will turn into agression

    • @poodlemom
      @poodlemom  Рік тому

      Yes I have. With all due respect, I find this practice inhumane :( It’s natural for dogs to have teeth. And it’s the owners choice to accept an animal into their home with children- so the responsibility of teaching and training the dog to live in their home falls 100% into the humans. With all the info available online, it’s no longer a valid excuse to say- “I didn’t know.” But this is just my opinion. ✌️
