Just look at the guys wiki...it’s ridiculous. The dude started off as a reputable dentist but quickly went the quack route and his ideas were rejected, as well him being rejected from the ADA.
The advancements we’ve made in dentistry in the last 30years alone, have been mind boggling. You can have a crown 5 axis CNC milled in the office. There are filling materials that cure in seconds under particular wavelengths of light.

There was a director, I think it was John Carpenter, but maybe Wes Craven (I heard this a long time ago) who was in talks with Disney to produce one of his films. He developed a migraine and nosebleed just from dealing with the suits at Disney for a single meeting. That's kinda how I picture Paul working at the ATF.

Paul is amazing, he never um's when talking. His 1975 jacket makes him look like a retro Action Man toy doll. And with that there's an amazing marketing idea for Paul. He needs a man doll. The fan boys & girls will scoop these up by the millions. And imagine the miniature weapons, soda bottles and white plastic table with the doll. I'm sure your audience deserves a Paul Harrell doll.

That was only posted May 7 2020. So in a few month Paul has gained 100K subs.Thats an indication there's trouble brewing. People wanting to get knowledge before the #### hits the fan. And honestly the trouble started months ago now, it's just taking time for everyone to see the bigger picture of whats going on. That's the rural United States. I was deer hunting a few years ago, when it seemed like I was seeing everything except deer. The most memorable was watching a bald eagle hunt a squirrel. I heard the commotion the squirrel was making and the eagle scream. The squirrel was running as fast as it could while the eagle was in the sky above it.
I had to re-watch that moment to hear ,,,, but ,,,,,,
Eagles don't sound like that , that was more like a Falcon or Hawk of some type ,,,,

@@williampankratz600 yeah it’s 100% a red tailed hawk. Eagles have a very meek sound that is actually pretty funny. The red tail hawk sound is used in lots of movies as an eagle cry hence why people think it’s an eagle.
I bet he gets tired of dealing with the idiots. He handles it with maturity and forethought without expletives or name-calling. The classiest guy on the internet.
Its a shame he has to waste time making videos dealing with idiots, when he could be making more enjoyable (both for himself and the audience) content

In short, he acts the way that he wants the audience to act. Leading by example.
The absence of political and social commentary here is one of the best reasons to watch Paul at work. We're smothered 24/7 by talking heads on TV and the internet with such discussion and it's tiring to say the least. Watching Paul's videos helps escape the deluge and bring some quiet sanity and relief from it. Even when he feels the need to clarify points like in the ending of this segment, he is a voice of reason and moderation. Great work, Paul.

I'm a plandemic first time gun buyer and been watching Paul's vids for the better part of the last year. His most admirable trait isn't his knowledge on firearms (though it is up there) but his ability to dress down publicly anyone who fails to display common sense. We need more of that in current times...
Every time I watch Pauls rebuttals my reaction is always "someone actually said that about him?"

@@bibfortuna298 In movies they use a red-tailed hawk's call for almost any bird in the raptor family. In fact, in most cases, it's even the same recording of a red-tailed hawk. The reason is that if you use the same sound recording that you've been using in movies for decades, you don't have to pay a lawyer to make sure that you are properly licensed to use the sound file.
The result is that whenever we're in the wild and hear a red-tailed hawk call, we get to feel like we're in a movie. :)

That’s actually the sound of a red tailed hawk which is dubbed for movies and tv shows when showing an eagle. Also I live in the same state as Paul and the blue jays mimmic red tail hawks so it’s kinda hard to say weather it was a hawk or a jay on a video, but I guarantee it wasn’t an eagle. One more point-while laws vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction-as a general rule and as far as I know everywhere I’ve lived, it is illegal to discharge a firearm within the city limits. So firing in self-defense can be defended in court, but intentionally firing into the air is a NO-NO!

Firing a warning shot is discharging a firearm- crime in city limits in my town a bb gun carried same charge as firing a 416 magnum.
Some* jurisdictions apply the same thing to bows. Around 30 years ago I had an upstairs neighbor who was target shooting his bow off of the upstairs porch into the back yard. In a city residential neighborhood. I politely asked him stop and informed him that I was not going to call the police but I could not guarantee that no one else would. Years later I had to go to a vendor's shop to dis-assemble some equipment and the shop owner had an archery range set-up in the parking lot. The local police had stopped by saying there was a complaint and informed him about the local ordinance also applying to archery.
*I have no idea if it is all.

I like your breakdowns of each, including the "going back before time" and all of the "this comes with a lot of caveats", because that really needs to be said for a piece being done and viewed in the manner in which you portray it. I do like that you're not political (there's enough who are, and that's their thing, and I'm thankful for their voice). I enjoy your channel because you've proven to me that you are certainly no "hack", and genuinely want to pass on knowledge that you've gleaned over the years, while telling your audience that "This is my experience, your mileage may vary". I believe it's an honest way to approach your subject matter. Don't change. You deliver solid material in every video without the cloud of the current events. People like me want this. And I like your dry humor. Godspeed, and I hope this will be a better year for all.

2x, sometimes without looking at comments. Paul was an instructor and he is, almost, terse in explaining, IMO. Then, again, I'm getting hard of hearing. At least he doesn't taunt those who may never have opportunity to shoot a Barrett or a Coleco or aP90, for ex. Will stick to my .22 or airgun for fun plinking so my bills get paid and ammo in my range.

I am only a Patreon supporter of a few creators on UA-cam and Paul is one of them. I've been a subscriber since he had about (guessing, but close I think) 30K subscribers. I give next to nothing, but it's something. If more subscribers would do the same (why not a buck a month?) maybe Paul would no longer work part-time. He could then concentrate on producing more of what we all love. I don't know Paul except through these videos. I just believe in supporting good work/entertainment and a good human being.

I never understood why people didn't tell him they would not speak to him (take the fifth). Paul your videos lately have been top notch even with the ammo shortage. Unless people misunderstand it is my opinion that most off his presentations are of superior quality but the last few have incorporated more humor while still conveying important information. You be the judge.

@@SuperSaltydog77 I'm a huge Columbo fan and seem to remember an episode where he is supposed to qualify with his firearm and he's not even in possession of one.
I have been a sub for years, since before the 200K mark was achieved and this is by far my favorite channel dealing with firearms. One of the reasons is that it is a haven from political oneupmanship (debate is no longer germane to political discourse). I am also glad these videos are not inundated with several commercials since this entire channel has been demonetized by YT. However I still think that falls into 1st and 2nd Amendment violations by Google and YT. I love the jackets! I used to frequently wear the vest version of the jacket. Loved that it had shell holder loops in each lower pocket. The ones I used I had my mom sew a Velcro spot on the chest pocket flaps so I could use Velcro shell holder loops there as well. It worked perfect! I could go out on a set of railroad tracks with our beagle rabbit hounds and have a box of 25 rounds with me. A perfect load out for an afternoon 2 hour rabbit hunt!! And yes, it had the removable game pouch on the back, and yes, that was very handy to have.

Seriously one of the best, if not THE best communicators on You-Tube. For example, the description of the Gomer Pyle effect was technically not necessary to make that particular point. It did, however, make that point much more clear and memorable.
