As I wrote last time, I have a sister-in-law who had a very similar situation, and it took a while for her lungs to recover. But she recovered really well. And she was about 30 years older than you are when she was fighting that fight. Your youth will really help you recover quicker than she did. I hope you get your status approved by the government, so you can get that assistance. If your sister makes carrot juice at her restaurant, make sure you get some. It is really good for rebuilding & maintaining specialized tissue in the body, like eyes and lungs. It is surprisingly sweet, too. And really good to drink with spicy dishes, because it cools the mouth very nicely, so you can keep eating it, lol. To give you some hope, at your age my Lupus stayed in remission for over 25 years once we got it under control. I'm fighting to get back there, but know that it does and can happen.
