i bled on my armpit when i first used it there because i am disgustingly hairy with the thickest hair and plentiful, but after the first and second time it got much better i still have to epilate weekly though and it's far from perfect but beats shaving daily

@@parijain8091 always hard.. i stopped epilating and just cover up :(. hair looks exactly the same as before no slowing or thinning. I've saved money for laser hair removal, its just tough during covid to find a decent place

Same here. My dad didn’t let me shave when I was young, so I got made fun of when I was young. I can’t believe it took me this long to figure this out. I realized that tweezing was the way, when I realized my eyebrows stopped growing because I tweezed them too much 🙄. Barely going to start doing this. Good job getting the word out!

its kind of like when you pluck a boys eyebrow they scream, but for us girls were used to doing it so it doesnt even hurt at all. so same goes for this is suppose. thanks for the video! :)

@@Mocha-Cloud I literally had to get my sister to do my eyebrows the first few times because it hurt so bad. My hairs were thick enough that I'd be left bleeding and sweating after plucking them though, so that might be why. Now it's almost pleasant lol.
I bought an epilator because, as you said, who wants to keep buying razors? It's without a doubt the most excruciating feeling I've ever had, but hopefully it'll get better with time

I only do it on my underarms and my legs even tho the box says you can use it in your girly area I will not dare use that thing near there! So I only use razors for my girly part

@@sensimania yes for me it was also way too painful, it felt as my skin was getting pulled. But the second time you epilate it will go way easier
I do all, my tip is just relax and give yourself a good 2 hours and maybe drink
I don’t shave down there, it hurts too much, so I just trim with a scissor.
I’ve been epilating for EVER. Over time my hair has gotten sparse & I only do it once a month. All my girlfriends trip when I tell them I don’t buy razors. But I did notice you do it in a weird motion. I thought you had to go in slow circular motions? 🤔
Yes it so nice! Also your epilator may be different from mine but this one recommends going in the opposite direction of the hair :)
@@katrineallingandreassen3617 the video of me epilating my armpits was sped up. You can see how much regrowth I had after using it &how thin it is. It doesn't grow back far as fast as when I shave. For me shaving was Everyday/every other & always looked stubbly and now I epilate and go weeks without even noticing any hair. I highly recommend :)

Yes I do, mine has a smaller attachment that I use for bikini area, I pluck anything that it misses cause it can be tricky in that region

I bought mine yesterday. Holy moly. I wish I knew all this before. Ignorance is hell. It looks so soft and gentle. I almost got a heart attack when I started using it. Also, I get red bumps.
My mom never let me remove my hair. I guess she didn't really understand that almost no girl has armpit or leg hair nowadays, so when I asked her for razors or an epilator she said no, but when I was with my family and I lifted my arm, my mom would make fun of the hair under my arm in front of my whole family (!). Ugh, so embarrassing, after 1 year of constantly asking I got an epilator and it is working fine

I literally yelled at my screen when you started winging that thing over your armpit. My wife and I have both been epilating for a couple of months now and we are very slow and methodical. (Personally it takes me about an hour to do one leg. Ugh.) I read that if you do it too fast it doesn't work well, it will just break the hair. Does it really work for you to go that fast?
hahaha the epilating part is sped up :) I do go in faster than when i first started but not as fast as the video shows

Elen Kakosyan My growth cycle has actually increased since this video and it is about once every 1-2 weeks however i think the weather has a big impact on it as well. Hoping the time spaces out more again once winter comes along 😅 still worth it instead of shaving everyday & having that shadow but still hoping it slows down lol 🙈

What I did was use Nair to remove the hair from arms, legs. Once the hair started to grow back and slightly longer than stubble length i epilated. The shorter hair makes it less painful
Im sick of shaving my legs ;-; It always grows back super itchy so I gave up and now I live with hairy legs and always wear long pants. Im so jealous of girls who have hairless legs naturally and can go out in shorts without any effort 😩

I just started epilating my legs and it hurt a little bit but not bad. Defs worth it for sure ! Makes my legs look nice and smooth too.

If you use a lidocaine spray from the drugstore 20 minutes before you epilate, you barely feel a thing 😊
I don't know why but my arm folicules(besides getting thinner & sparse over time)turned very deformed due to epilating them over years.I wouldn't recommend to do that except maybe waxing/sugaring arm hair.For the rest of my body hair its totally worth it to give it a try with an epilator!First time I recommend even taking a painkiller lol since it hurts worse than I tought.I once waxed my armpits & since than I never wanted to again.But now I may try it with an epilator since my hair grows super quick is annoying.After waxing,epilating,shaving Aloe Vera is calming the skin thats irittated.Also post care should include taking showers not the same day after you epilated girlss but hour before/day after,avoiding sun baths or sun exposure to your skin for 2 days,scented lotions are a big No after treatment,drink lots of water,may your skin breathe.For clean,healthy appearance(skin)cutting off sugar is gonna give you that glow.

@@Chelllseaj I have less hairs on my arms,at some spots i don't even have any but my hairs grow upwords not in the "normal" left,right direction where hair is touching the skin haha sometimes when i look at it 😂really looks funny. So thats why i don't think i'll continue with an epilator cuz it really deformed hair folicle on my arms.Shaving arms was for me also horrible(some people do it)& after you even want to wax/epilate its so painful +skin is not the same.I tried once shaving(my arm hair was deformed even before shaving so it was not caused by a shave). I've been using an epilator on my arms since i was 13, I had lots more hair kinda similar to yours..but honestly now I'm eather gonna rock my 😂deformed arm hair lol or wax. I've been thinking about laser hair removal but at same time thats some sort of radiation.
Laura laraa omgggg yeah laser hair seems super interesting i’m just nervous about pain but epilating isn’t the best feeling so i’m sure it wouldn’t be too bad 😂🙈 My arms are hard to keep up with because there’s so much where as armpits is super easy now and it doesn’t hurt as much because the hair is so fine.
@@Chelllseaj I don't know why body hair is such a taboo or why in some way people consider body hair on woman dirty but on man is completely okay🙄. I think it's not the physical dirt since that's the nature, it's more the mental dirt people have in their heads about body hair. Honestly, some most influental people have not shaved like Madonna & she was a badass. I am a hairy girl😂💗 whatever hair removal method I do it grows back very quick but I probably mastered the art od hair removal lol. My one friend is doing laser on her legs. From what she told me is that you have to do max 10-12 treatments to be completely bared. Also it works a lot better if your hair is black,thick + if you have light skin. It can work with dark skin tones but than they use eather special laser or woman/man have to shave before. If it's summer season they go shaved to appointment. It's IPL laser i think. She saw results immediatelly but also it stinks like your hairs are literally burned. Not as painful as this horrible little machine😂💗. Still i'm sceptical because Radiation is something people don't mention so much. Also when you're on your period don't try laser, if ur pregnant you can't laser, even waxing on your period🤧 is more painful. But after it finishes 😇 it's the best time to remove hair. I'm now on my cycle 😓😂

If you still epilate, has it diminished the coarseness or speed of the hair growth?
Epilation like tweeting and waxing removes hair from the root as its removed this can damage the follicle itself (you may see blood when this happnes) if a follicle sustains enough damage the hair can become easier to pull out will grow slower and if the follicle is completely destroyed will not grow at all

I need help. I did my armpits yesterday. I wanted to let it grow a bit, but I forgot to epilate after a few days. So I did epilate with pretty long and thick hair, bc it was my first time. But I didn't want to shave it and wait again, so I just did it. I'm young and didn't know what I needed to do before epilating, so I just went for it. It did hurt, but after a few times going over the area, it didn't hurt anymore. It wasn't even that bad actually. I had a lot of blood and it was really red. I just laid a cold towel over it, bc it began to hurt A LOT. After 10 minutes I put some sudocreme on it (I also do that with my legs). The pain didn't go away, so I went to sleep to let it rest. The next morning it still hurt. I think it hurts just a little less than epilating it self. I don't know what to do, help meee.

twice_in_a_melon xx It’s probably because the skin is irritated. If you put deodorant on it after sometimes it hurts or if you go in the shower after. Putting a cool compress on it will help for sure. Unfortunately you’ll have to wait it out but next time you do it just remember to do it when it’s a bit shorter and it shouldn’t be as bad. If it is the second time i would suggest not doing it anymore or numbing the skin before hand :) Wishing you the best ! ( i don’t do much to prep other than make sure they are clean no product etc)

Why not using cream instead? It's painless.
SaRCasm princess Creams only remove the hair on the surface not at the root. Also if anyone has sensitive skin creams can be irritating 👎🏼 Nair is def an option but long term epilating will reduce hair thickness and growth 🤗

Accsualy if your doing epilator in your armpit/leg in first time it hurt so much,but it doesn't hurt if you always shave it,it hurt unless you didnt shave your armpit/leg so long

Definitely should not epilate that fast and pressing it against your skin, it’s basically just breaking off the hair and it will feel stubbly. Going slower and having the epilator lightly on skin is much more effective.

like how long it lasts? or how long it takes? It lasts a week-2 depending and it takes maybe 5-10 to do

I tried it for the first time today, I did my thighs first, and it kind of like vibrates and so my bikini line got kind of numb... Like it still hurt for sure, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. So like start at a non sensitive area first and then kind of move closer to that sensitive area

Is epilating advisable for skin with Keratosis Pilaris (Strawberry skin)?
Aslong as you make sure you exfoliate the keratin away before it blocks the hair it should be ok but I'd still advise not to as even exfoliating can cause the condition to worsen dramatically
I agree. exfoliate and then do the epilator. I have KP on the tops of my arms and both has helped significantly. I do this at night before bed.. then the following morning I will use a good moisturizer and sunscreen if I'm going outside. good luck

Mona Domingo you need to exfoliate and shower with warm water before epilating, it helps but you maybe have done it already.
Mirjam Domingo I’ve had 1 or 2 but nothing really. Hopefully the exfoliating tip will help (i dont do that so i’m going to try it out )

hmm if you are trying on different parts of the body the attachment one might be best. I personally have only tried the one in this video but im sure there are many option out there :)

It’s not too bad really. The only part that really hurts for me is my left underarm for some reason. I have that same epilator and I’ve heard the ones with more tweezers are less painful.
