Jim is one of my favorite actors/comedians. He's been in the industry for years and now that he's accomplished so much in his career, he has nothing to lose. He's free to expose certain things. However, if all of this is true, would they really just make him retire as a way to "punish" him? I feel so overprotective of Jim Carrey since I grew up watching him on television and movies my whole life. He has brought so much joy to my ( and others' ) life. In my eyes everything he does is still funny lol. I love how unserious he is in a world of everyone being - to put it bluntly - so stuck up, judgmental, and serious. The problem with celebrities who speak out against the industry is the way in which they do it. The manic nonsensical ranting causes viewers to give them the side eye, whilst the msm call them mentally unwell so then the industry follows up with prematurely ending their career thus making sure the ones who've spoken out never get any further opportunities to further explain on even the most minor of chat shows! This is exactly how the entertainment industry intended, they work hand in hand with each other and the most effective way to discredit those that speak the truth about the dark side of the industry, is to get the person written off as "crazy". Think about the countless reports splashed all over the front pages and news bulletins covering the mental health breakdowns of countless former "child stars". Usually these stories happen when the former child star announces on their social media platform that they are going to expose what abusive horrors they experienced personally or witnessed within the entertainment industry. So they are discredited as "mad" so the public just don't buy into their claims, whereas behind the scenes they are threatened to STFU or .....! The next thing to happen is the media reports that said person was found dead and the death was ruled a su!c!de following many months of mental health struggles. These people never died by their own hand, the industry "su!c!ded" them!!

Unpopular opinion alert I guess. The red carpet interview doesn't come off crazy, it reads to me like a teen or young adult who just discovered the rabbit holes of conspiracy theories and spirituality for the first time and attempts to sound enlightened in the face of normies. You can believe those things and still have a normal conversation with a woman whose job is required of her to ask questions about said event.

Sloan, I think the phone call is real. Celebrities are watched and their actions are reported in real time. When my aunt was an exec at Paramount Pictures I saw someone get fired instantly, on campus, for bothering Michael Douglas. The interaction occurred and within 1-3 minutes the person’s phone was ringing. They left immediately. I don’t remember if people escorted her off the lot or not

I believe the calls are real, but the one there wasn't one. He was just exposing the dynamic of when someone goes a bit far, they call probably say a specific word(s) and then make them go back to "yeah, ok cool, watch my movie lol"

Acting is an art form that requires enormous skill and practice to perfect. It's the business of acting that does not require a person to be skilled, just as long as they kiss the correct 'buns' in the industry and can form sentences. Jim is a crude dude and not my cuppa' but he's a brilliant comedian and he was always way ahead of his time. He seemingly grew up with super, strong family bonds from Canada.
