a bit chilling if he didnt okay it. because if taken out of context... you can spin everything your way. doesnt have to be necessary bad, but also doesnt have to be necessary true.
That was actually amazing. And I know the point is to also show how his art reflects life. But at the same time. Through half of it, of the quotes I had never heard before... I was wondering if they were from interviews or from the movies... I would have loved to explored that comparison.
@@aspirin02i mean i think this is less likely to twist things than a written narration would! Since using direct quotes is more reliable than people’s opinions and accounts of what happened
The documentary is HBO-level The fact that you assemble it using internet footage is wild. But the 15:40 transition from the ad back to the doc using the Truman reference while you j-cut on the doc is Oscar-worthy! Legend! Hope every cinematographer watches you from now on!
If we allow it, this will become the norm with AI: no breaks, no disruptions, no criteria to distinguish it. We’ll consume advertising and propaganda in a seamless narrative that we believe is personalized, when in fact it will be curated to sell and manipulate, without allowing pauses or perspectives outside the increasingly veiled interests generating the content.
I'm not sure if people understand HOW difficult this was... like how many hours did you spend just watching Jim Carrey videos to be able to stich this together so perfectly... I love his voice and to be able to hear his story from him in this format is now my absolute favorite. Congrats man, got a lifetime subscriber here.
Its actually pretty easy barely an inconvenience because you just set up a story board with bullet points on "markers" and "character building" tools to "curate" a distilled and interesting "expression" on how he made us all feel growing up watching him and the effect he had on our lifes...barely...an...inconvenienCe store BARELY!
I became so engrossed in this video that I forgot that it's just a youtube video and not a professionally made documentary. I'm impressed by how much you can put into a youtube documentary in just 20 minutes without needing any second parts. I'd rather binge these than watch a 2 hour long video essay in all honesty, these are so good and informational while also being very easy to digest

Keeping in mind what happened to Robin Williams almost 10 years ago, I would really love to have the opportunity to tell Jim how much it meant to me and my entire generation to have him inject a dose of magic into our childhood. I don't know if he fully appreciates that it's not idolatry, it's gratitude. I grew up with his movies, from a literal toddler to adulthood and few people have had that sort of impact on us. It's humbling to see where he's come from and it's even more humbling to see his acting career come to an end. I'm extremely grateful for what this man has given us. This entire video was brilliantly put together to convey an over-arching message. Thanks, Jim. For everything.
Jim and robin were pure magic (and still are) to us forever 90s kids. How lucky were we?? Okay I made it through the whole video without tearing up but now responding to your comment my eyes are just swelling with tears. I’m 33 and so thankful because that means I grew up with these guys as my besties on tv. 📺
I whole heartedly agree with this sentiment. Jim is apart of who I am I find myself in his mind state of wanting to just have fun while I'm here but wanting to be seen in more light that just the funny man. Ace ventura the Truman show and so many more movies have quite literally shaped who I am as a man. I have sat and asked the universe to send it's energy my way. I've sat alone and thought how to make others smile. I've imagined my life as a movie. I've even been dirt poor. I just want the world to feel good even for just a fleeting second to revel in the positive and the real aspects of our existence. The thought that non of this is real haunts me spiritually. I am just a guy, you're just a person but we can all be anything and nothing at all. It's sickening. So much is real but so much isn't. We're grains in an hourglass that is bound to be flipped upside down for another's own purposes. We're everything and so little simultaneously. While we are here I'd like to say thanks Jim you've tought me so much about this crazy life. If you ever read this you are so much more than you know. ❤
Agree however he always came off odd to me and an obvious person of desperation and issues. Which he pretty much admitted even in this video alone, so I was right and able to see. I loved him as Mask, there are no other actors who would fit that role, but damn, every other of his role is pretty much disturbing ... People laugh at him thinking it's comedy but all I see is a person who is crying inside 24 7. I seen the same things in every role Robin Williams had too. When people laughed I cried ... it was hard to me to watch any of their movies. Other then like I said the Mask stands out perfectly. So I would thank him for The Mask and keep quiet about everything else, some things rather stay in the past and you don't poke old wounds ...
@@minmogrovingstrongandhealthy I couldn’t disagree more. He gave a part of himself to make us laugh. Just like he did for his mother. Little did he know that it would literally touch a generation so profoundly that people would use his comedy to shape the very type of person they are. He is an amazing person. Artists are always struggling. That’s what makes them great. We were lucky to be in the same time as him.
This isn't a documentary. It's a selection of video clips, each of them taken completely out of context, placed in a certain order to match the narrative of the author. Oh, yeah, and some increasingly intense music.
Agreed. From this video and his many interviews Jim Carrey is repeatedly saying the same thing, which we are overlooking. I think he’s trying to get out, but the strings attached to him won’t let him out. He is a prisoner of a much larger system that many don’t even realize.
Jim Carrey in the Truman show in my opinion will always be one of the best performance ever given, because it seems the show was made for him, he was at the height of his popularity where he is watched by millions of people, feeling that there is something bigger controlling his life, feeling the pressure to be a certain type of character that is boxed in and wanting to break free from all of that to just live life to the fullest. This is a really amazing video and your video quality just keeps on getting better, keep up the good work

No. That would be Man on the Moon. As he himself described he "became andy kaufman" and often says he doesnt remember filming it. And by my opinion this is the BEST movie from his filmography
This was incredible. So many different sources of conversations matched with lines/ themes of movies. Really blurring the line between art and artist. All without being confusing or staggering. Really amazing work.
I always thought about this whenever I heard a celeb pass away growing up, Jim was the first to come to mind of people I would actually feel really upset about losing. It will be a very sad day fs
This docu-series is going crazy, man. Your editing and commitment is crazy. These are beyond professional level, and they are infused with a ton on dedication. Bravo, man. Can’t wait to see what you have next.
Jim Carrey has experienced more than his fair share of tragedy. He struggled with depression and anxiety most of his career which is a common theme amongst comedians. Being a class clown myself I used it to hide my sadness and anger at growing up in an abusive broken home by acting out and making light out of everything. It was the only time I was alive. The trials that Jim has faced have broken him and he’s never been the same since. The easiest way to escape something meaningful is to ascribe no meaning to anything.
something about "Just A Character" spoke to me as someone with autism on a visceral level. I have so much trouble functioning socially that I make this character of who i am that i wear like a skin at all times, and no one really gets to see under that because it always feels like there's nothing actually under there at all, like i built every aspect of my personality out of jenga blocks of other people's personalities, like im not actually a person of my own.
I feel this a lot. Jim was my idol growing up. I always kind of wondered if there was something else behind his eyes... fleeting looks of "what am I doing?" that were immediately covered up. I've got AuDHD and for much of my life, seeing Jim as someone to ascend toward, felt like I had no idea who I was. For many years I was just a collection of jokes and imitations. It wasn't until I decided to unmask fully and be truly authentic that I discovered me. But like you... there really isn't much to see. It's a difficult idea to think about sometimes. Am I even real?
Everyone puts up some sort of facade or guarding identity to an extent. Most people struggle with the same things as the next person. We often forget this and assume everyone has their shit all figured out, especially seemingly confident or charming or outgoing people.
I appreciate the fact that this docu has no script but a string of moments in Jim Carrey's life that forms a cohesive timeline of his development. I think it's interesting to realize that you could compile someone's life through the interviews and vestiges of his existence in a way to form a complete developmental climb forward. Really lovely
Sir, I am blown away by the quality of this documentary and the way you are able to elicit an emotion out of me without a single narration is baffling.
I relate a lot to Jim, it's easy to slip into complete self destruction when you're in the same situation he's in on any scale. Glad he understood what was happening instead of resorting to self destruction like a lot of people do. Anyways, I hope whoever is reading this has a wonderful day (:
He got me through the worst of my childhood. He’s helped me through the dread of life. I don’t think even he understands how and to what extent he’s helped.

The skill behind the editing of that final chapter of the documentary...You just let Carrey speak and narrate that existential final chapter, weaving it together with mastery. Awesome work!
I’m watching this video the day after a marching band competition made me remember how I’ve always been second place in everything, and never first, almost like the perfectionist’s version of “always the bridesmaid, never the bride”. You nailed how 1990s movies, tv shows, and documentaries felt! i felt myself just melting and fading off into this mini documentary and how everything just felt so easy for my brain to digest. You kept the quality of all of these old clips too. Really awesome job!😊 Wow! i had no idea he was the first person to earn 20 million! i never knew he got so big because i was just a kid then, to me he was just one of the big actors that made these funny great movies, i had no idea he cracked some kind of record the other actors couldn't. I hate how fast hollywood dumped him though as soon as he got older they no longer wanted him acting and he definitely took a big blow with that he went through a pretty depressed period. Truthfully i only like the couple of movies because he was way over the top a bit too much that he wasn't funny really, but in the professionally made movies he did they really made it work and i guess directed him in the right ways where he wasn't too over the top he used the crazy in all the right moments. Those are some of the movies that really made me smile as a child though, i think he was brought into the world to give us what he's capable of creating although i think a great deal of that was his mental health issues and it sounds to me he always felt really disassociated from himself to deal with all the troubles he went through, somehow he turned it into something really creative though.
Matthew 11:28-30. You are loved and the Creator of the entire universe finds you inestimably valuable and He loves you unconditionally. Im praying for you, if you ever feel to weak to go on, know that Jesus will be your strength and will give you rest if you choose to turn to Him. God bless you!!!❤

This is really well put together, no added narration needed just Jim. Watching him and what he says can make your thoughts run wild into a place you didn’t think was possible but enables you come to the realisation that it makes so much sense beyond belief.
This is seriously a masterpiece. Jim Carrey himself is a legend, not just as an actor, but as a human being. Or as he might say a spiritual being having a human experience. Love ya, Jim.

@@Hume108 Was looking for this comment, it must mean something, the editor was wayyyy too good to just have coincidentally make it specifically that long
@skyepeterson5389 Jim Carrey played the protagonist in the movie 'The Number 23'... it's about a global/cosmological conspiracy revolving around the number.
*Jim talked to the universe when he was little, in front of the mirror, and as he grew up he brought us all his wonders and visions in a form of an actor and a motivator. "Jim Carrey Doesn't Exist", as he exists as one true form- "The Universe"!*
A better theory is, he didn't "talk to the universe" nor does he exist as "the universe".. he used the mirror as a kind of portaI to speak to entities who he probably made a deal with (like aII super famous, rich people have done). Why do you think he made that last documentary where he denounces everything and looks like a homeless person.. realized what he's done and trying to make up for it
@@jacktravis2718 I understand what you're saying. But in my opinion, I don't believe that "we are the universe" first off - if you want to get technical and use the scientific explanation then yes we are energy just like everything else in this place so we can't be destroyed or created. I think we are souls experiencing our time in this life/universe, not the universe experiencing itself. We each have a soul, life energy, whatever you wanna call it. I've had a NDE so I personally felt my body shutting down as my soul started to leave this dimension/physical world. I found out I have my inner voice+personality+consciousness which makes up my soul (as that was what remained with me when i exited my body), I saw my body laid on the floor from above as I kept going further away. I literally got a "tour" of the afterlife and all of the levels, dimensions, and entities that coexist but we can't see. Telepathy was the form of communication, immediate thoughts put into my head from such entities like the first one that was telling me I was dead and leaving. Unfortunately I was able to get into "line" to get into heaven but it felt too far and no feeling of comfort. Immediately dropped into hell where it's completely tailored to what I did wrong. Saw my future, saw people forgetting me, heard them talking, etc.. I was then suspended in an area like a void of black space while evil entities were there to make my eternity as hellish as possible. I'd beg to go back, they'd say "ok", I'd transport to a familiar place surrounded by friends and think wtf just happened, then immediately yanked back as they laughed over and over. I fought the entire time from when I felt my body collapse to when I got to my own hell, denying that it was the end. I heard the loudest voice ask me what have I ever done, basically pointing out why I was there.. I finally gave up, accepting I'd be in this form for eternity (I couldn't stop thinking when I was suspended, it was like my mind having new thoughts/seeing images every split second, not even 1 second to be able to relax).. after I gave up, 2 of my guardian spirits/angels brought me back and my body was now standing up like a statue and I slowly entered from above into the back of my head.. and was reconnected. I've had this experience so I know it's not "dust to dust" or that "we are god/we are the universe" because I was nothing but a tiny speck of my remaining soul in a endless area of different levels.. and I was given true understanding of eternity and the flip side of how people mourn when they leave their loved ones here because there's no possible way to change anything or do anything, just a feeling of heart ripping regret.. anyway that was my personal NDE experience and since then all the new age spirituality, all the shit about how "we are gods/we are the universe/we have the universe in us" is something I know isn't right.
I wish he had done more serious roles before he retired. His show kidding was so unbelievably dark and well done. The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind was amazing. It seemed like he was going insane at the time, but as years pass and he does interviews I think he lost something else. A barrier of some kind. He sees the world in a different way, he recognizes and acknowledges the darkness without relenting to it and he stays in the light while portraying the darkness he recognizes. I've never seen anyone else do anything like it
I'm very lucky to have been here since your semi-early days, and it's with no exaggeration or doubt that this is easily the best video you've made. And not just that, one of the best documentaries on this website. Letting Jim speak for himself was a bold yet beautiful move. Even though you didn't hold everyone's hand as you detailed out his story, you gave us everything we needed to understand that whatever you could've said has already been said by the man himself. And it makes it so much more impactful. Showing his story, piecing it together to show the huge similarities between the movies and roles he's done and the man underneath, yet in such a eloquently edited way is properly mind-blowing. A genuine masterpiece mate. And once again, I can't wait for the next one, whenever it may come.
Perfectly articulated. First time viewer and I was wondering what drew me in so quickly. All forms of media are inherently biased, I love how you presented the viewer with your standpoint as a director but LET THE DOCUMENTARY do the talking. The editing in the end to play into your grander theme of existentialism *chefs kiss*. Art like this is why I am so proud to be alive, I love all the emotions associated with existing. Thanks for this!
Jim Carrey and Robin Williams were my entire childhood, I dread the day jim carrey leaves us but I’ve just been trying to enjoy every moment I see his acting while he’s here. I’m only 18 so I know most likely it will happen in my lifetime, but this man brought so much joy into my life and he really doesn’t understand just how many people he made feel better when they were so sick physically or mentally that was what kept them going. It would be a dream to meet him he seems like a wonderful man on and off the screen

This man played a huge part in my upbringing, ive always felt a sort of connection to the version of him i had in my head. A truly fascinating individual to think about. Without condemning or praising anything he may have done or stand for as a person
For a video that is entirely footage that is not your own, you really brought things together in a way that said something. There were some truly beautiful moments in there.
I cannot express to you how perfect this was at this exact moment for me. I’m still crying at how much this spoke to my thoughts and feelings about myself and the universe. People always ask what can one person do, THIS is what one person can do. Thank you so much for this.
That really hit a nerve for me too because i have similar thoughts to him too that i have my faith and in the universe, like i definitely have this feeling like we're always tapping into something out there in the universe. Why doesn't most other people seemingly feel this though? or do i suffer the same disassociation as jim carrey? i don't know. There's many religions that tap into this spirituality too especially shaktism but then i listen to them talk about all the other things and new life codes they invented and i wonder if they're actually just kinda crazy. Then i'm questioning my own sanity and then i just don't know. Not much i can really do with this either if i just can't access what it all means, is there such as thing as tapping into it too much for our human brains before we go insane? lol. Is it actually the source of our creativity and all the great relivations we've had? or is it just us? what is it i don't know but i feel you.
@@Harteo3917 one of my favorite ways to think of that whole idea is the way that Adventure Time tackles it with The Cosmic Imagination. I recommend watching the magic focused episodes for all the symbolism.
I've watched several interviews with him and he constantly refers to himself and all of us as avatars or characters. I think at some point he has experienced an extreme ego death (I think from hallucinogenics). It's sometimes hard to wrap your head around that we aren't anything more than what we see in the mirror or a simply a culmination of our life's experience. We are and have been everything and everyone at one point in time, but that alone is just "US" experiencing being human. None of this matters in the grand scheme of things. So love every second of your life that way. In a way that makes "you" happy and no one else.
Agreed but failing to recognize also the fact of how he would literally lose himself in his roles to full immerse himself in that character, and in the process is what sheds light onto how we all play characters and are conditioned, because he loses himself in the mix of it all. Some play the same character their whole life, some play a few. Actors get to really understand this because most play hundreds of characters.
Psychedelics or meditation, he knows his buddhism too, specifically the "turning into a ball of light" comment seems to me to indicate he is on or was on the path to enlightenment in one way or another. An admirable guy, I wish him well.
His girlfriend died from suic. and she blamed him in the letter. The family blamed him and he was held accountable in court. That'd kill anyones ego. We don't know Jim Carey the man. We know "Jim Carey" the commodity. That's his point.
That last line you left us on with Carrey really puts it into perspective "none of this will matter in 100 years, no one will remember it" I don't care what other people think say or do but just to think that none of us will really be thought or talked about in just 100 years makes it all the more worth it to just go do whatevers been on your mind. Maybe theres a reason to be talked about out there.

It's fortune that Jim had been so open about his experience, it provides a lot of material to compile to tell the story. I imagine it would be harder to edit the story in a narrative fashion with someone more opaque or mysterious.
I stumbled across this vid but I am amazed at how incredibly fluid the ad campaign for “Mubi” was. Did not feel like a pressured sell and was completely in sequence with the theme of the video. Amazing.

The Editing style is something I aspire to reach one day. How you do not narrate the documentary, you let the focus of the documentary explain themselves through interviews, something so simple that is so good.
Very nice edits, very hypnotic. Jim was quite talented at giving himself away, and you wrapped his movies and his interviews into an interesting narrative of expression of life.
And now he's playing the role of Dr.Eggman. Crazy times but I'm glad he's still around and entertaining people worldwide to this day. This man truly deserves his success.
What a powerful Documentary. The ability to create a video that covers what feels like 3 to 4 hours into a simple 20 minute video. All while making it feel like it's not just filler and the bland image but everything and the broader picture. Great Job and I wish you the best.
It took me 10 minutes of watching to notice that there was just no narration. I was waiting for it to start at the beginning, but then the story was being told so deeply and engagingly it felt like there was narration. And then I realized how much nicer it was hearing the story being told by the man and the events themselves, not by some other person putting their own opinions and interpretation over it. Your interweaving of the Truman Show story and Jim's real life was masterful. Keep up the good work Dodford! Looking forward to experiencing more of your work as you continue to experiment and evolve your voice.
Jim God, for me the best comedian of the history, his work as a person and as an actor is truly admirable. Its just amazing how many people had a good time watching his movies, he's a real life superhero.
I was born in 1999 and Jim Carey was a huge impact on my childhood. I watched Liar Liar and Ace Ventura on repeat on VHS tapes. I wonder if I still have them somewhere.
the craziest thing is how effectively he communicated this story and the beats without a single line of narration.
Oh my god. You're right. I never even noticed! Mad skills. 🔥
a bit chilling if he didnt okay it. because if taken out of context... you can spin everything your way.
doesnt have to be necessary bad, but also doesnt have to be necessary true.
That was actually amazing. And I know the point is to also show how his art reflects life. But at the same time. Through half of it, of the quotes I had never heard before... I was wondering if they were from interviews or from the movies... I would have loved to explored that comparison.

The documentary is HBO-level
The fact that you assemble it using internet footage is wild.
But the 15:40 transition from the ad back to the doc using the Truman reference while you j-cut on the doc is Oscar-worthy!

It’s absolutely insane what the power of editing can do in the right hands
Scary in what it can do in the wrong. Amazing what just a few humans can do its too bad most of em are working against each other.
That's what they did back in the 90s it's all about how you do it not all special effects like now.
I'm not sure if people understand HOW difficult this was... like how many hours did you spend just watching Jim Carrey videos to be able to stich this together so perfectly...
None of us exists. we are all actors!

I couldn’t disagree more.

This!
This is high end stuff. Like WOW!
something about "Just A Character" spoke to me as someone with autism on a visceral level. I have so much trouble functioning socially that I make this character of who i am that i wear like a skin at all times, and no one really gets to see under that because it always feels like there's nothing actually under there at all, like i built every aspect of my personality out of jenga blocks of other people's personalities, like im not actually a person of my own.
I hard relate.
It's something that people with autism can be more aware of, but it's actually pretty universal.
I felt that too just let loose and act however you want

Wow! i had no idea he was the first person to earn 20 million! i never knew he got so big because i was just a kid then, to me he was just one of the big actors that made these funny great movies, i had no idea he cracked some kind of record the other actors couldn't.

A better theory is, he didn't "talk to the universe" nor does he exist as "the universe".. he used the mirror as a kind of portaI to speak to entities who he probably made a deal with (like aII super famous, rich people have done). Why do you think he made that last documentary where he denounces everything and looks like a homeless person.. realized what he's done and trying to make up for it
@@AnywhereButHere. but that IS humanity. We ARE the universe experiencing itself.

How Jim & Robin never teamed up in a movie together is mind-blowing.
If watching this doesn't make you wanna chase your dreams and aspirations in life before it ends then IDK what else will...
Lol you're being fooled.
@@weetbixkid2051 please explain
its actually the opposite this doc is saying but then people believe what they want to believe
I cannot express to you how perfect this was at this exact moment for me. I’m still crying at how much this spoke to my thoughts and feelings about myself and the universe.
People always ask what can one person do, THIS is what one person can do. Thank you so much for this.
I never knew his story till now. Incredible!! It sounds like it gave you something you needed. I'm happy to see your comment & wish you the best.
This is an ego death in a sense, similar to psychedelics
Psychedelics or meditation, he knows his buddhism too, specifically the "turning into a ball of light" comment seems to me to indicate he is on or was on the path to enlightenment in one way or another. An admirable guy, I wish him well.
His girlfriend died from suic. and she blamed him in the letter. The family blamed him and he was held accountable in court.
That'd kill anyones ego. We don't know Jim Carey the man. We know "Jim Carey" the commodity. That's his point.
@@Fishlips5409wow...I didn't know that, and that he was held accountable? I suppose I will try to look it up, that's very interesting!

Indeed
Crazy to have someone so huge feel so relatable and known. Feels like I could call him on the phone right now if I wanted to. Beautiful soul. How he’s managed to stay free of so many traps others fall into in Hollywood is a miracle.
Great video. Bravo.
He fell into them temporarily, but got out of them pretty quickly once he realized it.

One of, if not THE, best edit i've ever watched on UA-cam. The sponsor part... unreal man, just unreal
That's where I feel like this video is incomplete.
This video explains the Jim Carrey we knew thru his 30s. What happened and who is Jim Carrey now? I don't understand this as well as I couldn't keep following down his path
@@JD-mz1rlHe made a film. Watch it.
@@JD-mz1rlWhile I appreciate this vídeos style, it ultimate has no real message, IMO. Bottom line is Jim Carrey, the actor comedian is always initiating others, he has no natural state. Not uncommon with those that have experienced a home wherein they constantly feel the need to be someone else to uplift others. This video is also missing the huge piece of history - when he became Andy Kaufman for the movie man on the moon. The Netflix documentary goes into detail about how much he just believed he was Kaufman, and acted like a raging ass in an effort to imitate Kaufman.
@@waverlyking6045 Guess I should have clarified, a huge piece of Jim Carey’s history. It was that role that showed people how lost in the characters Jim would get, and his first real taste of “is there even a Jim Carey to return to?”

Jim Carrey is truly someone I look up to. I love his movies, his heart, and his open mindedness. Seeing the public react to how he has changed over the years is disheartening. But I hope he enjoys the ending of the story. ❤
Such a genuine and sweet reason for getting into comedy. More often than not I hear from comedians it's either something like this or past trauma that they ended up useing laughing instead of crying to deal with
bro these are amazing super good editing well done!
I loved this.
I watched Jim's commencement speech and I think it's very thought-provoking. My favorite quote from it was, "It's just about letting the universe know what you want and working at it while letting go how it comes to pass." I was living my life that way before, but he put it so eloquently that I had to write it down and read it often.
I think in 100 years everyone will still know Jim Carrey. Maybe in 1000 people might have moved on but this man is a legend. I like every movie I've seen that he was the lead even Cable Guy.
No commentary, excellent editing, perfectly narrated. I'm subscribing, this feels like a legit professionally made documentary. Moved me a lot.
The editing is phenomenal, just cant help but feel like the actual content of Jim Carrey is so convilutedly hollow... Great video, very encapsulating!
This is a work of art. Don’t know who you are, but I’m a fan. As an editor myself, I see the incredible amount of detail in the audio. This must have taken 50 hours at least for me to enjoy in 20 minutes

I absolutely fucking love the way you let the person the doc is about do the talking, that and your amazing editing skills. Such a great way to tell the story of someones life, especially for someone as iconic as Jim Carrey. Well done.
Too bad the subject matter wasn't about a pedophile.
It's fortune that Jim had been so open about his experience, it provides a lot of material to compile to tell the story. I imagine it would be harder to edit the story in a narrative fashion with someone more opaque or mysterious.
Fantastic editing ! Thank you so much for the time, attention, perfection in what you do xx :)
I stumbled across this vid but I am amazed at how incredibly fluid the ad campaign for “Mubi” was. Did not feel like a pressured sell and was completely in sequence with the theme of the video. Amazing.
Hey Dodford, I'm thrilled to have come across your content on UA-cam. Your videos truly add value to the platform. Your work is exceptional, as each one is thoughtfully and skillfully crafted. However, this latest video is quite unique. It's a significant milestone, both in terms of storytelling and technical execution, and it's particularly impressive that you've accomplished this without using an V.O.
This was insanely well done! Hollywood productions quality. Not something UA-camrs would typically pull off. He’s certainly a talented actor.
Such a phenomenal edit ❤
The Editing style is something I aspire to reach one day. How you do not narrate the documentary, you let the focus of the documentary explain themselves through interviews, something so simple that is so good.
Very nice edits, very hypnotic. Jim was quite talented at giving himself away, and you wrapped his movies and his interviews into an interesting narrative of expression of life.
And now he's playing the role of Dr.Eggman.
Crazy times but I'm glad he's still around and entertaining people worldwide to this day.
This man truly deserves his success.
What an ad, so we'll incorporated into the narrative of the video.
Loved it whole heartedly!
This documentary was so professionally done! Glad I've been alive through all of it starting with Once Bitten
I'm blown away by how well this story was stitched together. Just tremendous. Not a single moment wasted. Kudos!
Excellent execution👏🏾👏🏾
Wow this was amazing! I always knew Jim was deeper than most but never realized he used manifestation to become famous…this was actually profound 🤯
