I'm thinking about buying a 2007 X3 mileage is 211k, in excellent condition price is $3800 cash.Do you think that's a good purchase? I looked at all the previous service records it's been kept up and a good reputable dealership is selling it.
I would definitely get the pre-purchase inspection for $100 - $150 from a reputable BMW mechanic to find out what repairs will need to be made and factor that into the purchase price. At $3,800, you are getting a lot of car for your money provided you don't have to drop a ton of money in repairs and maintenance. These cars can last for a while if they have been taken care of. Thanks for your comment, Ricky. Are you talking about the E36 M3 or the E30 M3? If it's from 1998, it would be the E36 M3. It would of course depend on the price and condition of the car. and what you would be using it for (daily driver vs. weekend fun car). With a car with that many miles, it is always a good idea to get a pre-purchase inspection from a reputable BMW mechanic. They'll be able to tell you all that needs to be fixed on the car and how much that would cost so that you can factor it into your price. Generally speaking, the E36 M3 had a naturally aspirated inline 6 engine, which is typically more reliable than the present turbo engines of BMWs. Came here from a different video you made . What would your opinion be on a high mileage e30 m3 bmw from 1998? And by high mileage I mean 190k
