I love these conversations with Georgi. But I must slow down the speed of the video. He is so full of info, it flows out of him too fast for me to comprehend easily. ❤ Thank you, gentlemen!

For people just meeting Georgi: When I started listening over and over to the Mercola and Georgi conversations, I was lost on several levels. Georgi's speed and accent made following his thinking impossible. By the grace of God, I somehow suspected that these conversations could change my life in a super-positive way. Listening off and on over a period of a few months, Georgi gradually became EASY for me to understand. His speed and accent became a part of me and his words went straight to my brain seamlessly. Also, while very interested in the bottom line conclusions of the health sciences, I had always avoided even trying to become familiar with the underlying science and its terms. Continuing to think that I was onto something major, I "googled" words like crazy -- often googling the same word several times over a week or so. Things that had sounded like Greek fast-gradually became familiar to me. The larger my base became, the easier it was to understand things more deeply. Now listening to Georgi is like listening to a life-long friend -- and the surface of the science that they discuss has become understandable. It has revolutionized my diet. I'm watching my upon-awakening body temperature rise. Georgi is a rare gift to humanity: the Tom Brady or Michael Jordan or Babe Ruth of health science

Dr. Mercola, could you ask Georgi back on to discuss oxalates in food? Potatoes apparently are high in oxalates. Sally Norton has done a lot of work around this claiming oxalates are a cause of many health problems. Question triggered when Georgi mentioned Russians thriving on potatoes, butter, salt. Thanks for a great podcast! Love your work.

I wish you would make an attempt in one of your interviews to rationalize the discrepancy between Georgi's description of the potential harm from supplemental melatonin vs. the benefits as described by another wonderful interviewee, Dr. Reiter. We count on you, Dr. Mercola, to get to the bottom of these apparently conflicting views when you interview your guests, rather than leave your listeners up in the air not knowing what to do.

    • @alensaric1082

Georgi has a system of thinking that runs deep, basically none of what he says is "true because I said so", he backs it up with studies and fundamental axioms of biochemistry/physics. Here is something about it: "Since melatonin is synthesized from serotonin, taking melatonin as a supplement (especially in mg doses, which is unphysiological) may lead to elevation of serotonin due to negative feedback mechanism - i.e. body senses it has plenty of melatonin so it stops converting the serotonin into it and serotonin may build up. In addition, melatonin (just like serotonin) is a potent metabolic inhibitor and known to be involved in hibernation, just like serotonin. If you have to take melatonin, I'd not take more than 300mcg daily. Glycine, magnesium, progesterone, etc have a much better track record as sleep aids, if you are using the melatonin for that reason." It all comes down to a differentiation between sleep and torpor, sleep is a deep and high energy activity, torpor is hibernation and energy conservation rather than restorative rest

Georgi wrecked his health through fasting, low carb diet, and chronic exhaustive endurance exercise.
He has lost 60 lbs and has greatly improved both his health and his cognitive abilties by applying the energetic principles he is sharing with us.

I don't know how no one has done their due diligence but this man does not work at Georgetown University. There is no record of his employment there. It stands to reason that if he is lying about his credentials (or lack thereof in this circumstance) that he is falsifying other things.
