Quick tip : add choker instead of levels, its get the work done much smoother but the only downside is it cut offs some of the edges, but depends on tweakingthe values.
Nice tutorial will definetely try it, another way is to do it by making a line and adjusting wave properties in stroke section, its faster and easier but the result is not that random.

I am having a problem while following your tutorial. at 1:50 did you apply Easy ease on Scale or Position key frames? my graph editor shows different shape of a graph from yours. it is more like Sign Graph. And my handle doesn't rotate but only move up down and left right.... please let me know how to fix this problem. Thank you again!
What app do you use for the animations is that photoshop? Im a beginner beginner, I literally don't know where to start with animations. I just know I can draw and I want them to come to life lol.

Lashaunda Brooks I use after effects but you can use photoshop for frame by frame animation✨
