Awesome JoJo Fact: Gaining a requiem stand and essentially becoming a god was discovered by a french man in a wheel chair who was trying to use his stand to reach between the stove and the counter.
In the far future Polnaref is still alive and becomes a mythical figure as he can train and grow his stand for an infinite amount of time. He can move the turtle's soul and therefore his own into any body he wishes. Polnaref becomes Neo DIO.
In case Woolie doesn't explain this correctly or you can't wait... *Why Weather Report has a Joestar birthmark?* Basically, in the process to reach heaven Pucci needed to fuse his stand with a stand created from Jonathan's (and by extension DIO's) body, which he did with a bone DIO gave him before the events of Stardust Crusaders. *Once Pucci performs the ritual he gains a Joestar birthmark... but also Weather Report gains one because they are twin brothers.*
There actually is a really simple way to explain how King Crimson works. It's like that one episode of Futurama where they fucked something up and time just started randomly skipping forward. Every so often time would just jump forward a random amount, and everyone would suddenly be where they would have been if time had passed normally, but without any memory of how they got there or what they were doing that led them to being there. King Crimson can make that happen at will, but with the added bonus of letting Diavolo act as normal within that "missing" time.
How much do you want to bet that Araki doesn't even know how King Crimson works and just kept making shit up to the point that he realized he was in too deep to back out.
So you are saying that King Crimson is just Gold Experience all over again? "I can slow your perception of time! but I won't do it ever again" "I don't control the life I create!... Never mind, I totally do"
"When you attack something I've given life to you take the damage instead. Actually lets never bring that up again." "King Crimson can delete up to ten seconds before they happen. Oh shit a maid is about to walk into my office I'll just King Crimson everything in the room somewhere off panel and be walking out the front door within ten seconds of course."
Woolie, what? Yoshikage Kira is Holly's son, he's the Jotaro of the part. His sister is just a new addition. Yes, there is a Josuke for this part, but we still don't know his place in the Joestar family tree.
Yeah. Woolie was off on that. I can see where he coming from with the Josuke angle with Josuke being made from parts of Kira and the other half being SPOILER MAN.
She's "supposed" to be Okuyasu due to the last name thing. A lot of characters have the actual last name of another character or are ANAGRAMS of another character.
Funny Valentine joins.... something... I forget what I was saying. Something about erased people? Why did I type "Funny Valentine" earlier? And who is he joining?
This is part 5 we are referring to, which doesn't even have duwang level of bad translation. Instead the translation is just mediocre enough that people fucking hate it. Hell, half of the difficulty with understanding King Crimson's abilities comes from the bad translation. Duwang is part 4.
Awesome Jojo Fact: Jotaro once felt up an underage girl while pretending to save her from drowning, and his only reaction to being caught doing this was to get mad at her for being an underage girl, rather than the underage boy he thought she was.
I hope on the final part they pull a stardust crusaders and do a sound effect version. (Like liam actually saying "Too short too short!" and the fish punching sound etc that be fun)
Awesome Jojo Fact: There's a Stand called Survivor whose ability is to make people fight each other whether it be friend or foe. Dio said it's the worst Stand he has ever seen. Unfortunately, he never seen Holly's Stand to rephrase his statement.
Step 1: King Crimson takes a snapshot of the entire universe. Step 2: King Crimson takes a second snapshot a few seconds later. Step 3: King Crimson selectively chooses which parts of each snapshot to combine, forming the scenario most advantageous to him.
If you shot King Crimson, he would remove the part where you fire the gun but keep the part where the bullet hits him. However, since you never fired the gun, the bullet couldn't have also been fired to then go on to hit him, meaning that he would come out unscathed. If you shot Gold Experience Requiem, you would fire the gun but then nothing would happen. If you punched him, nothing would happen. If you tore him to shreds, nothing would happen. EDIT: But then if you shot King Crimson, the bullet would just skip past him, which shouldn't really happen if my idea of how he works is correct, so how the hell does King Crimson work?
He just jumps ahead. During the time of the jump, Diavolo and KC are invincible. Everything else follows course. If Diavolo was destined to eat an apple, but activated KC in the middle, bites would still be taken out of the apple, and then chewed, but Diavolo doesn't have to physically move to do it. He can maneuver wherever he wants, he just can't affect anything that he wasn't destined to before activating KC. And when the duration of KC is over, fate resets itself, the bits of apple fall to the ground, and everyone is confused, because he deleted that portion of time.
Yeah, the concept of "fate" and "destiny" are deeply tied up in this. I think the thing that Epitaph shows is what _has_ to happen, but KC can change the way the universe gets there.
If you imagine the main villains as DVD player options: DIO is pause with a pause menu (move the cursor while paused) Diavolo is scene select and scene menu. Imagine the fight against Bruno is like a movie and he can just scene select to the next one, while being able to move in the menu. Nobody took part in the scene because he didn't let it play out. Kira is rewind. He doesn't remember the effect either. Pucci is fast forward, which eventually makes the movie play over again. Valentine is eject with a quick notification to reinsert the DVD. You can't put more than two discs into a standard DVD player. Ringo Roadagain (?) gets quick rewind, so maybe the next big villain gets something like "behind the scenes" or "bonus feature" powers. Idk.
Y'know what would be really great? If whenever they localize a JoJo game, the altered character and Stand names are just defaults, and you could just rename everything like party members in an RPG.
The only issue with that is why the localized Stand names are so scuffed to begin with. MUSIC COPYRIGHTS which are some of the hardest copyrights to beat.
To be fair to today's fun fact, Joseph had no knowledge that was mother nor could he recognize her because last time he saw her he wasn't conscious or (possibly) sentient.
I know this is a four-year-old comment, but technically Rohan invented Hell (if it didn't already exist) by writing into Cheap Trick "I'm going straight to Hell!" when the stand was taken by the ghost alley.
More awesome JoJo retcons: Josuke was originally going to get sent back in time at some point, to be the very person that saved his own life in the snowstorm (possible as a result of another one bites the dust); which would have made his hair obsession really ironic also Annasui was a woman also Sandmans stand (and name kinda)
Woolie mentioned the Annasui thing earlier in the LP. Then he also mentioned that the reason for the change was Araki intended for Jolyne to be a leasbian but his editors at Shonen Jump nixed that idea and made him change it after he already introed the character.
Black Pants piercing a stand with a stand arrow transform the stand into a new requiem stand. piercing the user grant the stand a new ability without transforming it into a new stand.
Watched this LP before ever having seen anything of JoJo's. Sounded like so so much fun so I started and now I am more than half way through with Stardust Crusaders and am f***ing loving it.
about Kira's death... you guys forgot Deadman Questions and Under Jailbreak! Kira basically becomes DEATH!!!! ...and, kill me if i'm wrong, but it's implied that he is the one who kills Diavolo and starts his loop, which is hilarious XD
Bonfire-Chan IIRC, Diavolo doesn't die immidiately. He gets punched into Tevere by giorno... almost dead, he climbs on the river where he gets stabbed by a thief, that is where the loop starts...
Under Execution, Under Jailbreak is a completely separate story that has nothing to do with JoJo (although it, Dolce and his Master, DMQ and Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe were released in a one-shot under that title)
Fun fact: Araki had fully intended to make SBR a Jojo part but his editors told him to change it in order to make something fresh, Araki made it jojo anyway
9:28 Woolie, Kira gets fucked up and dragged to hell by the hands because Reimi and Arnold performed a team attack on him and forced him to look back. It's less to do with willpower and more to do with "We fucking hate you, you scumbag murderer. Get wrecked."
Well dio will live "forever" until the sun explodes. Unless dio can thrall people on nasa to fly him to that other universe (weird to say) where there's that planet with a small but extremely hot sun spot but mostly dark and dio would be fine.
- Ingram 2 Would that technically end up killing him once he expose to his own stand? The arrow is an option, but then you run the risk of having the requeim form being a Supernova or Blackhole Stand.
hurrdurrmurrgurr yeah but I'm also using this as a plan for myself in the event vampires exist one day and I get turned into one and kinda wanna live. XD
KIng Crimson erases the cause from cause and effect. Let's say you're eating some chocolate. You take a piece and put it in your mouth. The cause gets erased so you don't remember eating it, but the piece of chocolate is still in your mouth. The effect remains, but the reason it happened is gone.
Only if that someone is Diavolo. For everyone else, everything that should have happened in that ten seconds happened, they just have no memory of the events occurring. Let's say Epitaph shows Diavolo these events: Diavolo pulls a gun on you and shoots you, but you shoot at the same time and kill him. If Diavolo activates King Crimson before he does these events, he can choose to move himself out of the way during the time that your bullet should have hit him. The events everyone else perceives is: Diavolo reaches for his gun, then he teleports to the side, and you have a bullet wound.
Wouldn't it be the firing of the gun that gets erased instead of the bullet passing through, since the person getting hit with the bullet isn't the cause but the effect?
"as you know im a man of corrections from the very depths of my soul" 1. part 8 kira is in the place of jotaro... 2. as i constantly have to bring up requiem stands are what the user wants at the time so KQ requiem would have been either A.A stand that revives people so hayato wouldnt have been dead and his life would have gone on or B. a stand that changes reality so that he lives on in peace 3. i believe he just murdered remi and didnt take her hand 4. i have no idea what woolie said about the part 6 ending but the way that made in heaven works is that anyone you kill with it active is made slightly different in a new universe that is made after a while and when you kill the mih user the universe auto resets 5.nah, araki just said it was a different universe 6. pucci is an olive skinned italian and theres enough of a difference between that and black where the kkk wouldnt get him 7.its for money in london or wherever 8. DESTROYING JONATHAN WOULD MAKE A MAD PARADOX 9. its still jonathans body technically 10. there could be a reality where the part 3 dio fight happened in 1881 or whenever its what i got 11. if pucci removed hollys stand she would be a vegetable 12. no... it fixes minor physical problems and dio has none due to vampirism 13. for the anakiss situation see 5 14. doppio and diavolo are two different people in the same body and doppio developed by multiple personality disorder going crazy and for a fun jojo fact: metallica would have totally killed doppio if gio and his pals hadnt interviened, this is widely considered in the criminal stand underground as a dick move.
The Shigechi episode was so rough. I was really luke warm on Shigechi and Kira reading part 4, but watching Shigechi suffer like that and reveal that he was actually a pretty good guy who was just a socially awkward kid made me tear up and absolutely despise Kira.
The deal with Weather Report's tattoo/birthmark is (McFucking Spoilers for those that either haven't read that part and don't want to be spoiled, or just don't want to be spoiled in general): Weather Report became a member of the Joestar family when his brother, Pucchi, fused himself with the Green Baby, creating C-Moon. Now, the reason why fusing with Green Baby made Pucchi (and, by extension, Weather, because this is treating the fusion as something that affected Pucchi from birth, and I think Weather and Pucchi are really close birth-wise...?) a member of the Joestar family is because the Green Baby is a kind of plant monster grown from one of DIO's thumb bones. But because DIO is, from the neck down when he gives up the thumb bone, Jonathan Joestar because that Jonathan's body, and not his, in reality the bone is Jonathan's. SO when the green baby is formed, it has some DIO DNA in it, but not a whole fucking bunch. The end result is that when the Green Baby is fused with Pucchi's DNA, the end result is that both Weather and Pucchi inadvertently become members of the Joestar family. holy shit, big block of text.
20:28 That actually sounds like a good final fight, with Jotaro, Jolyne and Jonathan against OV DIO. After Jolyne gets defeated, and Jotaro's at his last legs, Jonathan then bear hugs DIO from behind and says his good-byes to Jotaro for a grand adventure and to see what his descendants have done to save the world, especially Jotaro, and asks Jotaro to take good care of Jolyne when he gets home. Jotaro says his good-byes to his ancestor and Jonathan tells DIO that he's finally gone, and all DIO can do is scream in denial and pure rage until both he and Jonathan disintegrate into nothing, winning the day.
"Yukako and Koichi aren't in love, they're fucking crazy" "Mikitaka is a stand user, not an alien" WHY DO YOU HATE LOVE AND FUN, WOOLIE? Also my theory as to why Mikitaka can't see stands is that he was only scraped with the arrow. So he gained an ability, but he can't see stands. That being said, I support the "he is an alien" answer more.
They are so many questions JoJo always leaves me stumped. Dio and his spare coffin is one thing...Old Joseph power is another. Like, he is able to see the future my smashing a pricy camera, right? In what situation was he in that made him discover this? Was he swarmed by paparazzi and he sucker punch a photographer or something?!
I want to throw in a few cents into Shigechi's death. Based on what Reimi (the ghost girl) said the souls of people killed by Kira fly above Morioh unable to pass for some reason and I think that Shigechi joins that mass of spirits and when his soul explodes its him reliving his death like in Corpse Party. I think all those ghosts are constantly reliving the pain of their deaths which in my opinion is the worse thing that can happen after death.
Okay, for the last fucking time. King Crimson. Imagine point A and point B in time, separated by 5 seconds. In time between A and B objects change their location. When King Crimson erases time nothing happens: no memories, no interactions between objects, but they do end up in positions they were supposed to have. Bullets pass through people, and noone, not even Diavolo himself can attack anyone, as the their attacks simply get erased. What Diavolo can do is change his position at point B, so he uses Epitaph to see into point B and figure out when to activate King Crimson and where he wants to end up. This is why his #1 method of killing people is suddenly appearing behind their backs, ready to kill them in one strike.
I fell off Part 5 sometime along Narancia's tongue stand, but jumped back in to see Requiem and boy am I glad I did. Diavolo picking up a cigarette bud and talking into it to his other self is possibly one of the funniest panels I've ever seen.
Sam Bowman He'd have to know exactly what precise part of the brain causes that. He cannot steal concepts or metaphysical things, they have to be physical. The bit where he steals someone's sight is actually just him stealing the light right in front of their eyes.
The funniest (and most tragic) part about that whole KKK thing in Stone Ocean is that Pucci and Weather aren't even black, they're Italian. Weather's father, who the KKK thought was black, was actually just his adopted father because his adopted mother stole someone else's baby from the hospital and replaced it with her own dead baby. So the Puccis thought the baby that was supposed to be Weather was dead, when in reality he was only kidnapped by some other crazy grieving bitch.
Feel the need to correct here: it's implied that Doppio/Diavolo has had dissociative identity since childhood, and that he was traumatized by the bizarre circumstances of his birth which led to the split. Diavolo is well aware of the condition; Doppio is not.
I don't even know why even bother coming to this playthrough anymore. I don't even watch the videos, I just skim through the comments looking for cool stand ideas while dodging spoilers past the first quarter of part 6 until I finally catch up with the manga and drawing Jojo stuff.😧
I have a great stand idea. Safety Dance: Destructive Power: B Speed: E Range: B Durability: A Precision : E Learning: B In a 20 meter radius, all edges in the environment, including on a person, turn as sharp as a razor, capable to cutting to the bone. The effect stays active even when unconscious, but the stand user can decide to turn it on or off by flipping a coin, potentially having the user cut himself. The stand itself is a upper half of a humanoid, wearing motorcycle goggles, and a big leather coat with chains and spikes covering it. these too are sharp as razors, and the stand can cover the user to act as armor. It, however, lacks attack capabilities, leaving it to the user to attack.
you're wrong epitaph is a second ability diavolo can use also and I understand king crimson perfectly by reading everyone view and putting everything together and remember things in part 5
Dude, shigekiyo death was actually super sad for me. I hated him and still got misty-eyed with that little fucker died( i even when back and re-read the chapter he died in just to make sure it wasn't that sad...... it's not.)
Mikitaka is one of my favorite Jojo characters ever and I will always believe he is an alien. P.S as a huge fan of the channel and Jojo, this playthrough is super fun to watch!
Taking about what Shigechi would be like grown up, that's basically Gappy and Soft and Wet. Because in addition to stuff like 'sight' and 'friction' his bubbles can take and move physical objects if they're small enough. So his stand is literally a better version of Harvest.
*speaking of part 4's possible alien guy* Considering the fact that he can shape shift and is possibly not stand-related one crazy possibility is that he could be a Kars-style ultimate lifeform from a previous iteration of the universe who survived the natural reset but ended up a little loopy in the process.
Mikitaka is Kars returned from space. He's lost hims memories but he still has the ability to transform his body. That's why he can't see stands, but can transform.
28:49 Pearl Jam's abilities only improves physical attributes. It cannot change a person's mental state., otherwise Okuyasu would've gotten higher intelligence if Pearl Jam were able to fix mentality.
The main deal with King Crimson based on reading up on it seems to be that it is not nearly as overpowered as some people make it sound, and that Gold Experience Requiem is overkill. The short version is that King Crimson sees into the future (called Epitaph) and then skips to that point, giving the user the advantages of knowing everything that would have led up to that point while leaving the opponent disoriented. IT CANNOT ACTUALLY CHANGE THE FUTURE, IT CAN ONLY SKIP AHEAD TO IT. It is the fact that it can do so with impunity and without wearing out the user that makes it dangerous. Imagine you're fighting a guy, and, before you punch him in the face, he skips to the point after you punched him in the face and he moved behind you. In essence, his abilities strength is future reading, like Thoth from Part 3, but with the added bonus of being able to skip forward to it and of having a power-type stand which can capitalize on the opponent's disorientation. Apparently, the user can also take advantage of the time skip to re-position, further giving them an advantage. However, as a result, Star Platinum and the World are perfect counter-picks, since the ability relies on messing with the flow of time, which both stands can simply halt. Diavalo versus Dio or Jotaro would likely end with a time stop right after a time skip, and the fist of either the World or Star Platinum between Diavalo's ribs.
How could you guys have watched as far ahead as you have, only to say that rat at the end of the ED was just some mouse? It was clearly Ratt or Bug Eaten.
+TheGarfield0 It's weird. They do make some good observations just from watching this video, but the Alien guy never turned into a rat, if I remember correctly.
25:40 This is actually speculated in a non canon novel that Dio actually did consider trying to agree to a truce with Jotaro, but comes to the conclusion that Jotaro wouldn't go for it, due to Dio's history with the Joestar's and Dio's evil nature.
"God is just some guy that got there first" That's interesting, since that's pretty much how Gwyn became the Lord of Sunlight in Dark Souls. The Big 3 (Witch of Izalith, Nito, and Gwyn) found the First Flame, called dibs, got crazy buffed from the souls in the flame, and went "Yeah we're totally gods you guys, let's go extinctify the dragons"
Fun fact: Part 6 tells you the story about a white man that looks like he's black hiring a member of the KKK to interfere the relationship between his sister and a black guy who looks like he's white.
Just to clear up Diavolo's changing forms completely, there's a bullshit explanation Polnareff gives that 'yeah there's a documented case of that from the 1600s.' The other reason he changes is because it's heavily implied that he has two souls rather than just multiple personalities, since the two can communicate and Silver Chariot Requiem splits Diavolo and Doppio into two separate bodies.
So Woolie goes on a 5 minute rant about the pucciverse and stone ocean being undone. Now we wait for him to catch up to Jojolion where the latest chapter just confirmed Stone Ocean prison is still part of the story. I am ready for his ensuing freak out. Dis gon b gud.
Awesome Jojo Fact: In the manga when Kars defeats Lisa Lisa, Kars was just complimenting and caressing her legs. In the anime, he was playing guitar with her legs. How does an ancient being know that an electric guitar is in an era where it's just being invented?
I bet you part before part 13 we'll see a Jojo saga with aliens in it. Aliens with stands, calling it now. (Not knocking it either, I'd legit be down for that.)
woolie the explination behind why diavolo and doppio look so different is literaly just a refernece to the first reported cases of split personalities and in those first reports they (at least according to araki) said that not only does the personality change but also the way the patient looks when they switch personalities
For those still curious about Gold Experience Requiem and wtf it is and what is does i found this. "To Gold Experience Requiem range should be completely irrelevant. As you know, it can act within erased time as it negated Diavolo's attacks in erased time and put him in a death loop through causality manipulation. However, GER doesn't simply transcend time, it also transcends space because time and space are two sides of the same coin, you can't have time without having space and vice versa, there's a reason why they're called space-time instead of time AND space. So when Diavolo erases time, he also erases space, and so that means GER acted in both of the absence of time and space, or should I say, space-time. And so when you transcend space-time you transcend 4 dimensions, making distance and duration completely irrelevant. And that also means that GER is effectively a hyper-dimensional entity, at least 5-dimensional. But then comes the next part, GER doesn't simply control causality, it also controls probability as these two are also two sides of the same coin and you can't have one without the other, look up probabilistic causation; these two concepts exist across all of existence because they are fundamental pivotal concepts, so that also means that GER's powers aren't "multiversal", they are way beyond that, they apply to all of creation, further cemented by GER transcending space-time." TLDR: Araki accidentally made 5th dimensional entities.
Awesome JoJo Fact: Gaining a requiem stand and essentially becoming a god was discovered by a french man in a wheel chair who was trying to use his stand to reach between the stove and the counter.
"I used my power to turn into a Titan to help me pick up a SPOON?"-some guy from an anime somewhere
In the far future Polnaref is still alive and becomes a mythical figure as he can train and grow his stand for an infinite amount of time. He can move the turtle's soul and therefore his own into any body he wishes. Polnaref becomes Neo DIO.
His stand is dead though, right?
+Ingram 2 "NEO DIO"
"NIO DIO"
Awesome JoJo fact: Part 5 had a stand that is a fishing pole. It's ability is that it is a fishing pole.
And it was actually strong
Joseph Oak: This must be the work of an Pokemon stand?!
Just like how there is a stand that is a rolling stone.
A fishing pole that can get hooked on the inside of your kidneys to be fair
Yep and instead of fishing for fish it fishes for your heart
And once Joseph found out Lisa-Lisa was his mother, he immediately regretted doing that and stopped thinking.
Joseph Joestar: King of Incest
That reveal had me in histarics. Then I stopped thinking.
and cheating. Can't cross that off.
Was I the only one who read it "peed on"?
+Stan Sketches Polnareff also suffered the same fate.
"Funny Valentine... You no longer exist... anywhere. Now, to go fuck with that Lucky Ted guy."
WHO?
Did DIO over heaven erased Fighterpedia too?
Fuck with who now? Plucky Red?
Grinning Marionette Been awhile ;3
AfroMetalMizu
? I've been here the entire time. Never went anywhere.
In case Woolie doesn't explain this correctly or you can't wait...
*Why Weather Report has a Joestar birthmark?*
Basically, in the process to reach heaven Pucci needed to fuse his stand with a stand created from Jonathan's (and by extension DIO's) body, which he did with a bone DIO gave him before the events of Stardust Crusaders.
*Once Pucci performs the ritual he gains a Joestar birthmark... but also Weather Report gains one because they are twin brothers.*
Awesome JoJo fact: Joseph Joestar is 65 years older than his uncle
Jotaro's about twice as old as his uncle Josuke too.
Is Giorno Joseph's great uncle or half great uncle?
Duncan Trice wouldn't Giorno technically be the brother of George Joestar II, since they are both descended from Jonathan Joestar?
There actually is a really simple way to explain how King Crimson works. It's like that one episode of Futurama where they fucked something up and time just started randomly skipping forward. Every so often time would just jump forward a random amount, and everyone would suddenly be where they would have been if time had passed normally, but without any memory of how they got there or what they were doing that led them to being there. King Crimson can make that happen at will, but with the added bonus of letting Diavolo act as normal within that "missing" time.
THIS. THIS IS THE EXPLANATION. I'VE NEVER WATCHED FUTURAMA BUT THANK YOU.
Well, Kira actually does stick around after his death, if you've read Dead Man's Question, a.k.a that one spin-off novel.
didn't KQ get disgusted with Kira and leave him in that?
No. The hands destroyed his stand. But at least he's a ghost.
I think it was in the Jorge Joestar novel then
+Coh2 Conscript why would killer queen get disgusted with kira in the jorge novel?
i dont know i just read that he was and left
Woolie's Incorrect Adventure: JoJowronglion
featuring Patsworth Damo and his stand Vitamin S...do not underestimate him!
Yeah too much wrong in this episode. Pucci didn't know that was a KKK member.
Thats the non-canonical side novel right?
+Navi, The Real Fairies Queen Former YANG. mannnn fuck black lives matter.
Damo's a chinless beast, i'd fuck.
How much do you want to bet that Araki doesn't even know how King Crimson works and just kept making shit up to the point that he realized he was in too deep to back out.
Isn't that why he needed to give Giorno a "Fuck you I win" stand in the first place, because he wrote himself into a corner regarding his ability?
That's the kind of stuff that explains why Jotaro never used Star Finger after that one arc.
So you are saying that King Crimson is just Gold Experience all over again?
"I can slow your perception of time! but I won't do it ever again"
"I don't control the life I create!... Never mind, I totally do"
"When you attack something I've given life to you take the damage instead. Actually lets never bring that up again."
"King Crimson can delete up to ten seconds before they happen. Oh shit a maid is about to walk into my office I'll just King Crimson everything in the room somewhere off panel and be walking out the front door within ten seconds of course."
Fuck yeah he just needed him to drive the point he was trying to make towards the end.
I would argue that the daughter is jotaro since she has the whip hair hat thing
Squid Parts Kira's personality is more in line tho
actually some people say Norisuke of jojolion is the josuke of that universe
She's "supposed" to be Okuyasu due to the last name thing. A lot of characters have the actual last name of another character or are ANAGRAMS of another character.
People die when they are killed, but they don't die when they're erased
So which fate would you have for the Al Bhed
FreedomHero4 Don't ask such hard questions, man
*whispers* hey i got the pit filled why fuel ready
You are the true hero and mascot of the sbfp comment section
"People die when they're killed"
holy shit
Funny Valentine joins.... something... I forget what I was saying. Something about erased people? Why did I type "Funny Valentine" earlier? And who is he joining?
What's a Funny Valentine?
Ashen one? something about Yonas? I feel like Im missing something.
Who?
some guy who was in the kkk or something.
+afroman9541 It's one of those cards you send in February to make your girl laugh.
Awesome JoJo Fact #19: One day part 5 will have proper translations and everyone will finally realize that it's actually kind of okay.
No duwang is great
Part 5? What's wrong with part 5?
This is part 5 we are referring to, which doesn't even have duwang level of bad translation. Instead the translation is just mediocre enough that people fucking hate it. Hell, half of the difficulty with understanding King Crimson's abilities comes from the bad translation. Duwang is part 4.
I feel like the only guy who liked Gio and the gang. I enjoy part 5 quite a bit. King Crimson is the best.
King Crimson is still a lackluster stand. All its power is good for is defending.
Awesome Jojo Fact: Jotaro once felt up an underage girl while pretending to save her from drowning, and his only reaction to being caught doing this was to get mad at her for being an underage girl, rather than the underage boy he thought she was.
niiiiiiiice
well.....jotaro was 17 at that point so......yeah.
Well Jotaro is Japanese and the age of consent is 14
That girl was then almost raped by a primate
Awesome JoJo Fact: Jotaro Saved Said Girl from being raped and killed by a orangutan
That stand should've been called "Riot" or "Quiet Riot"
Holly could have a totally sick awesome stand but she was too much of a bitch to handle it.
The stand should have been called Ballroom Blitz
+AfroMetalMizu Should have been called "Independence for Violence."
Riko Wolfin *Too much of a pussy. If she was a bitch, she actually would’ve been able to handle it.
Awesome Jojo fact: There is still no known Stand that can serve as an alternative to the Blazblue Fisticuffs we've been denied time and again.
That stand exists! It's called the [Bad Suns].
That Stand is called "Karnov's Revenge."
as a fan of naruto, boruto is absolute shit
I am terribly sorry for your lost of blazblue in the attack on titan intro
Not even "Survivor?"
Step 1: King Crimson takes a snapshot of the entire universe.
Step 2: King Crimson takes a second snapshot a few seconds later.
Step 3: King Crimson selectively chooses which parts of each snapshot to combine, forming the scenario most advantageous to him.
I finally fucking understand
No. It just works.
If you imagine the main villains as DVD player options:
DIO is pause with a pause menu (move the cursor while paused)
Diavolo is scene select and scene menu.
Idk.
Actually Valentine if we use the remote control comparison would be the channel button.
So this knowyourmeme.com/photos/1098764-jojo-s-bizarre-adventure
this is actually pretty cool
Awesome JoJo Fact: Until Woolie discovers the existence of Josefumi, he'll continue to think Josuke is a girl in the alt universe.
He's still an adulterer
***** OH WITH OUT A DOUBT! He however doesn't have Oedipus Complex.
[In walks a overgrown leprechaun] I believe you ment to say sapient?
Wait, Pat stole gold from you?
And the worst part is he gloats about it so much everyone thinks it's his.
Can we all appreciate the fact that Jolyne once prevented herself being turned inside out by turning her string into a mobius strip?
fun jojo fact there no hell in jojo there's
1.heaven
2.ghost realm
3 . nonexistent
I know this is a four-year-old comment, but technically Rohan invented Hell (if it didn't already exist) by writing into Cheap Trick "I'm going straight to Hell!" when the stand was taken by the ghost alley.
More awesome JoJo retcons: Josuke was originally going to get sent back in time at some point, to be the very person that saved his own life in the snowstorm (possible as a result of another one bites the dust); which would have made his hair obsession really ironic
also Annasui was a woman
also Sandmans stand (and name kinda)
why did they retcon the josuke thing anyway that made so much sense while adding to the bizzare
The Annasui thing was really confusing and really blatant.
I guess it's because Araki realized he'd rather plaster that pink fish net outfit over a musclebound male form rather than a woman's.
I THOUGHT THAT AS SOON AS I SAW THE FLASHBACK WTF
Woolie mentioned the Annasui thing earlier in the LP. Then he also mentioned that the reason for the change was Araki intended for Jolyne to be a leasbian but his editors at Shonen Jump nixed that idea and made him change it after he already introed the character.
god damn just imagine what Killer Queen requiem could've been
I think it kind of got a requiem form, no? It's hard to tell since they name and even treat it differently.
Bites The Dust is pretty much Killer Queen Requim
Black Pants piercing a stand with a stand arrow transform the stand into a new requiem stand.
piercing the user grant the stand a new ability without transforming it into a new stand.
tho i'm glad killer queen wasn't transformed into a new stand cuz KQ's design is my favourite
unless killer queen requiem is just the same but every aspect of it's design getting 20% bigger/sexier
Isn't diavolo's death due to his soul being forced into limbo because of G.E.R?
Bonfire-Chan IIRC, Diavolo doesn't die immidiately. He gets punched into Tevere by giorno... almost dead, he climbs on the river where he gets stabbed by a thief, that is where the loop starts...
Under Execution, Under Jailbreak is a completely separate story that has nothing to do with JoJo (although it, Dolce and his Master, DMQ and Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe were released in a one-shot under that title)
Too be fair, Doctors must've hated Lisa Lisa
Fun fact: Araki had fully intended to make SBR a Jojo part but his editors told him to change it in order to make something fresh, Araki made it jojo anyway
9:28 Woolie, Kira gets fucked up and dragged to hell by the hands because Reimi and Arnold performed a team attack on him and forced him to look back.
It's less to do with willpower and more to do with "We fucking hate you, you scumbag murderer. Get wrecked."
The first episode starts with Dio playing chess for money, yeah. He's a GAMBLIN MAN.
OK WOW literally as soon as they talk about king crimson my video reset!
yo whens blazeblue?
Edit: when's the rest of the lets watch of metal gear solid 4.
later
Same day they bring Brawls back and with Liam.
wait, there was a partial let's watch of MGS4, where can I find that!?
Just go on daily motion and type " best friends watch mgs4". They only watched like the first 2 hours
Well dio will live "forever" until the sun explodes.
Unless dio can thrall people on nasa to fly him to that other universe (weird to say) where there's that planet with a small but extremely hot sun spot but mostly dark and dio would be fine.
He'd probably find Cars along the way and keep him company.
He could just turn the guy with the SUN stand into a vampire and use him as an infinite energy generator.
Dio has Pucci on his side he can always have him start up a new universe when the old one is getting toasty.
But then if you shoot someone and King Crimson activates, the bullets pass through the target and that's why it's stupid
"as you know im a man of corrections from the very depths of my soul"
1. part 8 kira is in the place of jotaro...
2. as i constantly have to bring up requiem stands are what the user wants at the time so KQ requiem would have been either A.A stand that revives people so hayato wouldnt have been dead and his life would have gone on or B. a stand that changes reality so that he lives on in peace
3. i believe he just murdered remi and didnt take her hand
4. i have no idea what woolie said about the part 6 ending but the way that made in heaven works is that anyone you kill with it active is made slightly different in a new universe that is made after a while and when you kill the mih user the universe auto resets
5.nah, araki just said it was a different universe
6. pucci is an olive skinned italian and theres enough of a difference between that and black where the kkk wouldnt get him
7.its for money in london or wherever
8. DESTROYING JONATHAN WOULD MAKE A MAD PARADOX
9. its still jonathans body technically
10. there could be a reality where the part 3 dio fight happened in 1881 or whenever its what i got
11. if pucci removed hollys stand she would be a vegetable
12. no... it fixes minor physical problems and dio has none due to vampirism
13. for the anakiss situation see 5
14. doppio and diavolo are two different people in the same body and doppio developed by multiple personality disorder going crazy
and for a fun jojo fact: metallica would have totally killed doppio if gio and his pals hadnt interviened, this is widely considered in the criminal stand underground as a dick move.
sound IS physical
it's vibrations in the air
Iffem ***** thanks,changin it
You guys are hilarious. My new favorite channel. Thanks for the laughs!
Funny Valentine in: You Just Don't Exist! Coming to a theater never
The Shigechi episode was so rough. I was really luke warm on Shigechi and Kira reading part 4, but watching Shigechi suffer like that and reveal that he was actually a pretty good guy who was just a socially awkward kid made me tear up and absolutely despise Kira.
*sees bloody child*
"Let's go, he's weird."
Besides that being total bullshit, I find it even more strange literally nobody in the hall either heard or saw the explosion
Fuck high school apathy. Those girls are worse than Kira.
The explosions are quiet
Your Mom Well that explains that then I guess
In Episode One of Phantom Blood, Dio is playing Chess for money to buy medicine for his shitty dad
poison*
It's medicine that cures life
Lmao fair enough
In addition to the description, Joseph also became brain dead upon learning his mother's identity. Peep that part of the episode.
Eventually, Joseph stopped thinking.
***** Which led to Josuke
any new art coming up?
Richter The D Where'd that come from? ;p
there's a horrifying lack of 34 for horror games
The joestar family is almost as messed up as the Madden family
The deal with Weather Report's tattoo/birthmark is (McFucking Spoilers for those that either haven't read that part and don't want to be spoiled, or just don't want to be spoiled in general):
Weather Report became a member of the Joestar family when his brother, Pucchi, fused himself with the Green Baby, creating C-Moon.
"Yukako and Koichi aren't in love, they're fucking crazy"
"Mikitaka is a stand user, not an alien"
WHY DO YOU HATE LOVE AND FUN, WOOLIE?
Also my theory as to why Mikitaka can't see stands is that he was only scraped with the arrow. So he gained an ability, but he can't see stands.
That being said, I support the "he is an alien" answer more.
Demented N being scraped still counts that is basically what happened to joylne but he is definitely an alien
YOU CAN'T ERASE PATRIOTISM THAT STRONG
Really though. Can I just like vote for Valentine in the upcoming election? Literally, the best possible option.
I wanna live in the timeline where Hol Horse became a Crusader.
the title of the first chapter of this video made me think: is there a stand called "The Man Who Sold The World"?
I want part 9 to be about pirates in south africa and have a jorambe
I always thought if holly could use her stand they'd call it like hermit rose or something
Woolie and Pat during the Mikitaka episode: *THAT'S A AYYYYYYYYYYYLIEN*
ayyyy lmao
Laughing at the phrase "the Pucci verse"
(Describes what King Crimson's ability actually is)
"I don't think that's it at all"
the whole joestar family tree is fucked. how the hell dio's son is literally Joseph uncle and pretty much everyone's grand grand cousin
Giorno is Joseph uncle because his father DIO is Dio Brando's head attached to Jonathan's body.
They're related by blood alone. Giorno has no idea what a Jojo is nor that he's part of an extended family spanning across nations.
I fell off Part 5 sometime along Narancia's tongue stand, but jumped back in to see Requiem and boy am I glad I did. Diavolo picking up a cigarette bud and talking into it to his other self is possibly one of the funniest panels I've ever seen.
So can Soft & Wet steal organ autonomy? Like, could he make it so that an opponent had to consciously make their heart beat and shit like that?
Sam Bowman He'd have to know exactly what precise part of the brain causes that. He cannot steal concepts or metaphysical things, they have to be physical. The bit where he steals someone's sight is actually just him stealing the light right in front of their eyes.
Funnsies Ballentines has been beaned from this reality and every reality ever created.
I get you but what does "aren't even black, they're Italian." even mean? lmao
Black Italians do exist.
If there were more JoJo games to play, would Woolie be as incorrect as Pat is with Dark Souls?
Feel the need to correct here: it's implied that Doppio/Diavolo has had dissociative identity since childhood, and that he was traumatized by the bizarre circumstances of his birth which led to the split. Diavolo is well aware of the condition; Doppio is not.
I don't even know why even bother coming to this playthrough anymore. I don't even watch the videos, I just skim through the comments looking for cool stand ideas while dodging spoilers past the first quarter of part 6 until I finally catch up with the manga and drawing Jojo stuff.😧
It's because of your stand
Oh fuck how did you know what I was doing?
***** Well he does have a mind of his own in.
I have a great stand idea.
Safety Dance:
Destructive Power: B
Speed: E
Range: B
Durability: A
Precision : E
Learning: B
In a 20 meter radius, all edges in the environment, including on a person, turn as sharp as a razor, capable to cutting to the bone.
It, however, lacks attack capabilities, leaving it to the user to attack.
youdont needtoknow That's actually a pretty cool stand. It sounds dangerous.
you're wrong epitaph is a second ability diavolo can use also and I understand king crimson perfectly by reading everyone view and putting everything together and remember things in part 5
That's why he can't see stands, but can transform.
what ever happened to fugo in this story he was there for 1 fight and kinda just disappears
Looks like Woolie needs to reread quite a bit of Jojolion.
And the rest of Jojo.
the porn analogy for Requiem just made it more messed up
28:49 Pearl Jam's abilities only improves physical attributes. It cannot change a person's mental state., otherwise Okuyasu would've gotten higher intelligence if Pearl Jam were able to fix mentality.
I never knew that in the intro, 2 of the Creepy Anime Bullshit covers were Clamp in Wonderland and Diesel.
I was trying to imagine what a Star Platinum Requiem would be like, and the best I could figure was Hiro Nakamura.
...Who runs a blog under the name Jotaro Kujo.
He just punches really really good! Like super good! Like you don't even know!
Star Platinum Requiem would literally just be The World Over Heaven
Dankbeast Paul yeah, or that, I guess
+GingaWolf pretty sure thats just the Star Platnium description
It was clearly Ratt or Bug Eaten.
would you believe me if I said they were ridiculously unobservant?
+TheGarfield0 It's weird. They do make some good observations just from watching this video, but the Alien guy never turned into a rat, if I remember correctly.
King Crimsons ability can best be described as the episode of Futurama where the globe troters challenge earth and then time starts jumping.
19 Times....19 Times I watched this intro, and I have never skipped it once, unlike all the other LP intros.
!!!!
Masaka!? Could it be...their Stand!?
Fun fact: Part 6 tells you the story about a white man that looks like he's black hiring a member of the KKK to interfere the relationship between his sister and a black guy who looks like he's white.
Just to clear up Diavolo's changing forms completely, there's a bullshit explanation Polnareff gives that 'yeah there's a documented case of that from the 1600s.' The other reason he changes is because it's heavily implied that he has two souls rather than just multiple personalities, since the two can communicate and Silver Chariot Requiem splits Diavolo and Doppio into two separate bodies.
Diavolo and Doppio are essentially York and Zach, is what I'm saying.
I looked at the jojolion family tree and Kira is where jotaro usually is
Why does Diavolo look like a reject splatoon character?
Also, I'd better see a Joheim heat attack before this is over.
We're talking about the same being that brought back music from another era to celebrate him becoming the ultimate life form
In the dub he one ups it by playing some bars from roundabout, it even has that buzz noise too.
It was an improv by the voice actor.
Soft and wet also has to have it's bubble have been bursted by the thing you're taking a property from
I bet you part before part 13 we'll see a Jojo saga with aliens in it.
Aliens with stands, calling it now. (Not knocking it either, I'd legit be down for that.)
I'm very frustrated they missed the initial King Crimson cut because they were fucking about talking about DIO and Pucci.
Kira is in *Jotaro's* position in the new family tree, not *Josuke's*.
The *rat* with Kira in the ED is *Bugeaten*.
"Why do babies have to be so slippery"
- Pat
Did Woolie just give up on getting the cool Dual Heat attacks?
woolie the explination behind why diavolo and doppio look so different is literaly just a refernece to the first reported cases of split personalities and in those first reports they (at least according to araki) said that not only does the personality change but also the way the patient looks when they switch personalities
It makes more sense if Diavolo doesn't even know what the fuck is going on
For those still curious about Gold Experience Requiem and wtf it is and what is does i found this.
But then comes the next part, GER doesn't simply control causality, it also controls probability as these two are also two sides of the same coin and you can't have one without the other, look up probabilistic causation; these two concepts exist across all of existence because they are fundamental pivotal concepts, so that also means that GER's powers aren't "multiversal", they are way beyond that, they apply to all of creation, further cemented by GER transcending space-time."
TLDR: Araki accidentally made 5th dimensional entities.
