It depends on what exact brushes you’d be using, the ones I am using are dedicated wheel cleaning brushes but it’s all about being cautious and using them appropriately. I’ve seen some “wheel brushes” in the past that I just know would definitely scratch a surface, they were very stiff, it’s all about having common sense really and if you’re unsure it’s good to always test it out before you actually use them on a wheel. Hope that helps!
If you’ve cleaned them up with the right solution they should be able to air dry, you might need to do a light touch up with a MF towel but overall it shouldn’t get back to dirty right away.
You’re welcome Josiah, in this video I’m actually using a local suppliers tire dressing however I like to generally recommend Meguiar Hot Tire Shine or even Cover all (Aerosol Cans) If you want to buy by the gallon try out Meguiars All Season Dressing. The key to making any tire dressing work and last is to make sure you clean your tires appropriately.
Hey Grayson are you referring to how it looks like after the wheel is all cleaned up? The rotor will actually go back to normal as soon as vehicle is driven! Simple as driving the car and using the brakes! There’s really no reason to go out of your way and clean the rotor as it is part of your cars brake system and there’s that possibility of accidentally wearing them down and having to replace them. Unless you are doing a brake job and have to spray some brake cleaner onto the rotors, I wouldn’t do anything to them. Hope that helps!

Do these type of brushes not scratch the face of the rim? I want to use these type of brushes but it just scares me so I just see a microfiber towel.

Will the inner barrel brush scratch the metalic black?
It shouldn’t scratch it unless you rub it against the face of the wheel with force of course!
How do you dry the inner barrels with a towel? I cant manage to do it and when it air drys, it becomes dirty again.
