Thank you for the video. I noted you mount your 2 x 2S flat and allow one of the cells closer to prop shaft location (center line). This in effect, does cancel out any weight biasing you require to put onto the port side location. I believe, if you mount them upright on its side and ensure they are towards port, it will roll over.
Thanks for your comment. Yes I've noticed since filming this that placement of the battery has a big effect on if it can self roll or not. Especially if you use a 4S lipo instead of 2x 2S. I still don't fully trust it though, so I always take a rescue boat with me, or play with friends who also have boats if I need to be saved 🤣
@@ChinaExpatsRC The science behind it is true provided the followings are met. No leaking in of water (especially the hatch), leaking internal tubes, weight too far away from the transom and battery shift. Once you get them right, it will roll over every time.
Nice, i got a Modster SR80 Pro B-Stock today and it is 100% new and even the packaging is intact. The batteries are charging now and then i will drive to the lake and try it out :)
@@ChinaExpatsRC Test run was nice, i used 4S 5000 60 C battery. Is there a battery warning / cut off / or slowdown? I ended the test run a bit low at 8 % SOC (tested with Lipo capacity checker) while i wanted to come back at 20 % or so... Greetings :) BTW I needed to rescue the boat because the Lipo has slipped to the back and the rollover did not work - i was prepared for that, because i was there for swimming anyway ;) Seems i need to find the best position or place a counterweight to the right?

Nice, I prefer the color scheme on that version.

Do you first connect the battery or the reciver on first?
You should always turn the receiver on first for any RC model unless otherwise specified.
