I definitely most definitely agree with you. I don’t think it’s the wheat. I think it’s the glysophate is being sprayed on the wheat. Being 71 years old, we never had problems like this ever it wasn’t until they started doing this with this round up stuff. That is the problem. At least it’s what I think.!!
I am confused about L-glutamine. I’ve read that it’s good for gut lining and that even cancer patients could benefit from it, but yet I’ve read that glutamine feeds cancer cells. What’s going on?
If you have cancer, glutamine may grow the cancer, and vitamins increase mitochondria thus may increase cancer in general. Integrative oncologists have labs and nutritionists to evaluate patients. If you do not have cancer you can ingest glutatmine and it will not cause cancer growth.
@@karenyoung5786 I’m still confused. I’ve heard that everyone has cancer cells so wouldn’t the glutamine make those cells grow. It looks like it’s heck if you do and heck if you don’t.
@@chettlar212 maybe I misunderstood, it was Professor of biology Thomas Seyfried, Boston College, I thought I understood that we all have some cancer cells they just aren’t active.
Thanks for the video. But Just wondering why everyone talks about only TPO antibodies. What difference it makes if iam having really high anti thyroglobulin antibodiies. Tnx
I have Hypothyroidism (doc doesn't think Hashimotos). She's no help with diet. I mention gluten and her response is rapid blinking so there's no discussing it with her. So I err on the side of caution and keep off gluten, which is difficult. I have gluten-free bread which is a poor substitute but it does the trick for when I hanker after some buttered toast. I found a gluten intolerance test on Amazon. How do you rate these things? I'll not get this test from my Doc so I would have to go private and I don't have the finances for that. Will a test like this do? I don't think I can link to them here but it's blurb is: Highly accurate and simple home test for the detection of Gluten Intolerance Results within 10 minutes Fully CE approved Thanks for your videos. They help me a lot.
The best way to tell for sure if you have am intolerance for any food is to cut it out of your diet for 30 days and then reintroduce it. If you have any reaction at all to it, stomach cramps, bathroom issues, gas, nausea, indigestion, more tired, brain fog, etc., then your body isn't processing it properly and you should avoid eating it.
Do not eat gluten free food it’s junk it’s not nutritional. Gluten free bread etc is for gaining weight because celiacs become anorexic from the disease. Eat Whole Foods only.
Echoing what the other commenter said here. I'll link to an article of mine about how to do an elimination diet, but I find them to be extremely effective for pinpointing personal intolerances. drruscio.com/elimination-diet-meal-plan/

What about someone like me who only has high tsh little over 8.0 but no antibodies and no abnormal t3 or t4? What is your advice for people like me? Please help!
Absolutely agree with the author. I think at some point in the future, all type of artificial material will gain the same status as asbestos in our days.Hungary,Europe
Very helpful! I’ve been gluten-free and taking good-quality vitamin D for two years, since my Hashimoto’s diagnosis. I have seen no reduction in the number of antibodies. Now having food sensitivity testing…we’ll see what happens. Getting more and more confused about what I can eat and what i can’t.
You need to take vitamin D 7,500-10,000 ui per day to see an effect. Take selenium 200ug, gluten free diet, MK7 vitamin, inositol, 9-10hrs sleep per day, stress reduction, exercise such as walking 20 min per day, and sex.
It can be extremely confusing. I hope my content helps simplify for you. And I don't know if you know, but I have a blog with a great deal of articles I've written on thyroid and gut health. I also bought 1 kg of frozen blueberries recently but did not even think about pesticide contamination when buying those. I did look at the nutrient label, though. It was eye-opening as it had a long list of vitamins. Many of those had a negative RDA. 😂💭 Questioned why they even bothered to list it! BTW, giggled through most of this post.🐛😮😂 Q: It would be nice to know why some women don't suffer🌡🥵 long-term while going through menopause if they are not on hormonal replacement theraphy? 🧐💭 Healthy thyroid?
I'll make a note to incorporate hyperthyroidism into some future content. Until then, here's an article of mine about Grave's: drruscio.com/natural-remedies-for-hyperthyroidism/ Hope that helps!
Some people have non-celiac gluten intolerance or sensitivity. Every endocrinologist my mom, who has hypothyroidism, has seen has told her to go gluten free. I have celiac disease, been gluten free for over a decade, and I inherited hypothyroidism from my mom. Thyroid problems are very often passed down from parent to child, regardless of health or diet. But I believe being gluten free prior to thyroid diagnosis has staved off the worst of the thyroid symptoms. I’ve never gained any weight or lost any hair or had to go on any meds other than a low dose of levothyroxine. Maybe it doesn’t help much, but a gluten free diet surely doesn’t hurt.

Your approach is the most solid, clear and research based there is. I really appreciate you and just recommended you to a relative overseas.
I really appreciate hearing that. I hope my work helps them!
Where are the studies on glyposate and GMOs? Because I suspect they are the root cause of these problems, not gluten.
I'll be making a piece on glyphosate in the coming months so stay tuned :)

TG doesn't correlate with or predict gland damage or hypothyroid. We have done a video dedicated on this, search in YT :)

Gluten free diet isn’t helpful unless you have Celiac. I was gluten free for a very long time due to Celiac disease. I still got thyroid disease.
