So many great tips and I learned so much. As a new weaver everything to learn can be so intimidating. You have made it seem so "doable" and fun. I love your videos. Looking forward to trying one of your patterns.
You're tempting me to retry hybrid warping on my rigid heddle loom. I never managed that short a warping time in the past so I've been indirect warping exclusively strictly because I can break up the stages. I'm greatly enjoying your videos.
Wonderful video! I know you spin a lot of your yarn. Do you dye it as well? Thanks for this video. I look forward to seeing more in the future! Jill, US
Hi Sarah, I’m enjoying your videos very much. I have a table loom and wonder if this method of threading the warp is okay for my loom. Thank you for all the information you share with a new bee like me.
I think I’m asking an incredibly basic question, and I feel a bit foolish for asking this. When you weave your yarn , is the final product the same thing as tweed? I don’t know the difference. All of your clothing looks beautiful.
@Creative-Chaos "Tweed is a thick, rough, woven wool fabric that is known for being warm, durable, and weather-resistant" from a google search, so no, not really like tweed. My fabrics are much softer, especially for clothing. Often wool, sometimes cotton or silk. Not a silly question though!
Hi. Lovely seeing you using hand spun. However, I think there is an error on your calculation sheet. You show inches to meters as inch divided by 39.97 which gives you a very short measurement. You then correctly measure meters to yards. As a professional fiber related technical editor, I spotted this immediately.
Thank you for your comment, it reads inches (not inch) to metres divide by 39.37 which is correct. Eg 100in ÷39.37 = 2.54m. Thank goodness for a calculator, I appreciate your feedback!
Hi Sarah, another lovely video! Thank you for sharing a few really helpful tips, much appreciated. Looking forward to your next video!
This is wonderful. You are so clear and calm with your teaching. I always warp alone so this is going to be a game changer. Thank you,

Thank you, that's so good to hear. I had a great teacher at college, now it's my turn to pass it on 😄
I love to see you using your hand spun yarn. So inspiring. ❤
I really enjoyed seeing how you do this. I think i need to get a warping board to try the hybrid warping!!
It means I can warp indoors in quite a small space, and it keeps the tension nice and even. It also means I can do a really long warp!
Thank you, Sarah! Your Colours built up beautiful 😍
Thank you, I'm really pleased with it 😊
Espectacular ❤

I love doing it all in one go. I still do indirect warping for my floor loom but I find this so much faster for the rigid heddle loom.
Always get some new tips from your videos. 👍👍👍
Brilliant tips, thank you Sarah!
I'm finding these videos very informative, thanks
Oh Sarah, I am so looking forward to viewing the next video :) I have the pattern you are making and now I am truly inspired to make it!
How lovely! Project inspiration for once my broken shoulder heals….
Oh, get mended very soon 🤗
Utterly inspiring as well as instructive in good weaving practice! Thank you Sarah! 😀

Is it a rigid heddle loom? If not you probably need to wind a warp on a board and then thread it onto your loom.
Thank you so much for your quick response to my question. I have a 15 inch 4 shaft table loom I’ll use the warp board.

Thank you. I learned some tips from your video.
That's great, that's why I'm doing them. I've had some fantastic teachers in my time 😊
Brilliant! That's why I'm doing them
Thank you so much Sarah. The colours are amazing and go together beautifully. I’m sorry but I can’t find links to your sheets. Thank you again.
They're in my etsy shop, you can download them www.etsy.com/uk/shop/GetWeaving
Thank you

Hi Sarah,
Could you please tell me what the pattern number is of the jacket you are wearing in this video?
Hi there, it's T009 👍

@@getweaving8459 ah, then maybe it would make more sense to say total inches, just to be a bit more clear.
