I find that the main advantage of this card over others is that it awards spending on the card beyond 15K. You can get free nights, club access, extra points, suite upgrades, etc. Other cards require actual nights stayed for similar privileges.
Yes I’ve done that before. But when you get to the hotel it shows up as 2 separate reservations, so just ask the front desk to combine it when you get there so you don’t have to check in and check out again
Yes, if you google “hyatt categories”, it is the first one that shows up, hyatt official website. Additionally if you choose a city on the hyatt app, you can see which of their hotels are which categories
A quick question. Do you know if these free night awards expire? Typically the annual free night award expires in 12 months, right? What about these ones from intro bonuses?
Very tempting. I’ve gardening, I should be 4/24 at the end of 2025, not sure if to submit the application now 😂 and risk a hard pull and be approved or denied 🥺
I have had my card for about three years now, so if I read the rules correctly, I should be eligible for this offer if I cancel my current WOH credit card. This sounds correct but I wanted to get your opinion. How long after canceling my current WOH card should I then apply for another WOH credit card to receive this bonus offer
Hmm not sure about this one, I would be careful. Closest thing I’ve done to this is canceling the csp and reapplying for the sign up bonus 1.5 months later
Rarely any of the major cities have category 4 hotels or lower in desirable areas. Based on this, the certificates aren’t worth it unless in random 1 off scenarios like you mentioned lol. I’m most likely going with the CSP offer instead.

Hm yeah, most people usually will not put that much spend on this card though
for the annual night certificate, can you use that for say a free night, then have the following 2 or three nights to pay with points?

Are signup free night awards valid for all-inclusives? Those are category A,B,C,D etc as opposed to 1-8.
No
Is there a website you can see which hotels are 1-8?

I've a dilemma; should i get CSP or Hyatt card first; i'm currently at 3/24
@@callmeNeno I would prioritize the csp but whichever has an elevated offer
Dang cant do it, I’m working a on 125,00 points on AMEX and 70,000 on Cap one spending requirements
Ugh! Yeah better clear those first
Just got the card with the offer. Does anyone know if the 5 nights expire?
@@muradgazi555 Expires after a year
Good for the FNAs and that's about it. Really weak in point multipliers.
True

Hi so the intro free nights also expire after a year as well, the same as the annual certificate night

I would do it soon, the offer ends at the last week of October I think. I would definitely get it myself if I didn’t already have the card

New york, paris and tokyo is difficult. Other than that, most cities have at least 1 or 2 category 4 hotels
@@samswallet they have lower tier hotels but not in the desirable areas. I really miss SLH
I’m so mad, I just got this card a month ago!😡☹️😭
Damn, that stinks
