hey demi, just curious how u pay for hawker food/paylah + paynow transactions? im looking to get my first cc as someone who just started working. i currently have been so comfortable using my dbs visa debit card to paylah for everything (40%-50% of my $1.1k monthly expenses go to food that i usually paylah/favepay for, or paywave. other expenses incl my gym membership, public transport, rarely shopping haha). do u just paynow using crmc + amaze? or is there a better strat for this? for some added context, im using dbs multiplier to credit my salary (unfortunately due to company restrictions) and im rlly tied between crmc, uob ppv and dbs altitude/citi premiermiles :') thank u!
Demi, I just started using Amaze. I know i’m able to pay with the Amaze card when i’m overseas. But what does it mean when I pair up my Amaze with Citi Rewards card? How does it work? Do I pay with the Amaze card when I’m overseas? Or with the Citi rewards card?
Converts your in person transaction into an online one as citi rewards awards points for online transactions. When you go overseas it helps reduce the FX fees when compared to using the citi card directly and same thing, converts in person transaction to online. Think I replied you on Instagram too.
Why withdraw cash overseas with Trust Link card instead of Trust Cashback card? Does the withdrawal limit not apply the same for both? (Up to limit set for the card itself)
How about utilities like SP power and phone bills like SingTel? What cc gives miles on that? And what’s the alternative to DBS woman’s world master card, for men?
Hi Demi, just want to ask what is a good card for physical spending to earn to most miles apart from the citi+amaze combo ? Notice your stock only consist of credit cards for online purchases.
Oo i have the uob ladies. But not part of my main card strategy for now. Preferred plat i don’t hold but good for mobile contactless payment. And it pools points for UOB too
Hi. Can various credit cards' miles points be used together to accumulate to purchase like air tickets?.... freelancer or retirees no or hard to proof income, cannot get those credit cards you mentioned? Tks
Hi Demi, just to clarify for the citi rewards card when spending in person is use the instarem card, not the physical citi rewards card. Also I just applied for the uob premier card for travel and transport do you think is a good choice?
Hi Demi, for Online Transactions denominated in Foreign Currency like Financial Times, New York Times, Substacks or even e-commerce items etc. will you use Trust Cashback Card, DBS WWMC or ? Curious to hear your thoughts on this!
Ohh noo I’m spend $500-$800 monthly but my strategy all along is to spend $500 on UOB one as I used the additional merchants a lot and the remaining on my citi rewards and amaze Do u think whether this a good strategy?
The issue with having a half-cashback and half miles strategy is that miles usually have an expiry, in this case, citi rewards miles expire in 5 years. This means that you need to accumulate enough miles and redeem them or they will be lost. Since you are only spending a fraction of your expenses to accumulate miles, its difficult to earn enough that its worth it. Therefore it might make more sense to use a uob miles card for the $500 monthly spend + citi rewards instead. All the best!
@ or alternatively I just go for ocbc360 and focus my efforts on citi rewards that way I can still earn my 3.2% interest ? cus I’m still trying to accumulate my first 100k Else if follow ur advice is to go for a UOB lady card + CRMC amaze alrdy
@@PENNE-in that case maybe is it better to create a OCBC 360 account and just focus on citi rewards since I can still earn that amount of interest of 3.2%
hi demi! quick question.. . regarding the trust cashback is it ok to use it purely for overseas spend? as I couldn't hit the min. spending for the card and the categories setting any details on how and what to set? for public transport wise.. i cancelled my sc smart card and replaced it with UOB ladys (transport) for now since for me its a new sign up first year cc annual fee will be waived while we wait for better cc for public transport
LOVE THIS!
☺️
Thank you Again! Hope to see more of your videos in the coming 2025!! 😊

Hi Demi, would u do a credit card strategy video for those after cashback?
Hmm no plans at the moment. This depends on how much people spend a month and on what categories… not as straightforward as miles cards I’m afraid. 😥
Are you an insurance agent??
I hold the license and practice only when people reach out to me.
Nice 👍

Can you recommend a strategy for someone with a thin wallet? (2 to 3 cards max)
Sister i want to make cadit card but i don’t know how to make, bcz i am work permit,
Hi! Wondering if the Citi Premiermiles card is also a good option for miles accumulation since it’s 1 to 1 miles?
But at a basic mile earn rate.
Did you see that it is 30k points for 10k miles for hsbc next year
Yup. This video was done before they announced that.
would like to check again if medical is covered under Citi rewards?
Not hospitals etc. specialist clinics some I visited are.
Can I assume I’m not suitable for miles once I perceive business class prices as not worth the price anyway?
if u use miles correctly, u are flying business class for the price of economy class
Hi Demi, what is a good card to use for spending overseas? Thank you!

DBS woman can be used by man but not recommended given short duration

UOB Preferred Platinum
will you use UOB Lady's for Travel Bonus Category and UOB Preferred Platinum for Apple Pay?

Citi rewards + amaze if u want to earn miles, if not yes Trust cashback!

Yes. It’s ok! Choose one category that you wont use overseas so that all others can earn the 1%
@@DemiZhuang if the category i selected and i used it overseas will it still earn 1%?
@@EC_C_G not on the category you selected...

What will be ur public transportation credit card after 31 March ?
Would consider UOB Lady as well
if i wnt to pay my uni school fees online which card shud i use assuming i hv all the cards u mentioned
Tuition fees don’t earn points for most cards. Use a platform like CardUp!
Hi Demi, so what card will you use for transport after March when the nerf happens
Hmm likely UOB KF or UOB One.
please share all excel for free eg in kofi etc thanks, pros & cons of poem amundi sgd
Smart is nerfed. Women card is capped at 1k
Which i did mentioned in the video. And do check your facts on DBS woman’s card cap
