Unless you're in a Hollywood movie.

No, Canadians do NOT pride ourselves on making fun of Americans. I mean, we do it sometimes, but no more then Americans make fun of Canadians, and it's all in good fun both ways, for the most part. In fact, Canada as a nation is more like the "mr. Minnesota" referenced, polite to the point that both parties bumping into each other will automatically apologize, we thank the bus driver when we get off the bus, and picking a fight instead of not getting upset is considered gauche. Yet we scream and cheer on the pro hockey players when they drop the gloves and throw hands. We have one of the smallest, yet most respected military and peacekeeping forces in the world. Canada is full of contrary behaviours, but overall we're pretty nice about it, eh?
Show me a country that does NOT make fun of other countries, & I'll show you the Holy Grail hidden in my closet! 😉🙃
Dude u just wrote an essay😂

I wanna live in Canada on a ranch 😩✌️
3:12 I live in Greece and there no such law about the high heels in those areas 😐
I went there in 2001, never heard of it.
The only dress code we encountered was "no naked legs" in an Orthodox monastery.
(which I think is "logical" since it is still used by monks)
Lucky me I always wear long trousers, and I had a wonderful time watching my fellows students wearing ugly smelly trousers and dresses !
The top picture I took was from a guy wearing a dress by mistake... A true Scotsman !
It might make sense in Santorini. All those stairs....
Oh then Ti kànis
There are laws here in the US that we call silly laws and they exist but aren't enforced, is it possible the law exists in Greece and it just isn't enforced??
@@xbrandi12345x I am Greek and I can guarantee you that it doesn't exist. And naked legs are in a sense are also legal (if you mean really short shorts that is). So he probably read it of a stupid article (No offense, people can get info from whatever source they want).
“If visiting during Ramadan you should be respectful,” I understand what he’s saying here, that it’s disrespectful to eat in public during Ramadan, but you should *DEFINITELY* be respectful regardless of when (or where) you’re visiting! I'm Chinese, and I never heard of that rule before about leaving food on the plate. It's the exact opposite as there's a saying "every grain of rice is from the hard labour of others". I don't know where that saying came from but it's definitely not the mainstream thing to do.
Yeah , I thought the same thing. I'm living in China now , and once I left food on my plate . I received a very strange look from my Chinese boss
Probably the rich

So ionic when Chinese government is actually running a ‘empty plate’ campaign to prevent food wastage. The western centric never really understand the Chinese, or even try to do so.
I believe this is only when people are treating others to a meal... and it is very common especially when doing business in China. It gives the host "Face" and make them seem rich
One of the Culture in Philippines

In Japan it's not burping it's slurping your noodles and it is a sign of respect and that the food is delicious
Thats not even true.. LOL
@@steve23127 It is >:L
@UCrCB_M-dkIybsVRxY5TUatg No it isn't. Slurping when eating some dishes like soba and ramen is considered acceptable but it is not a sign of respect nor is it rude to not do it. Also even tho it's generally seen as ok to do for most people even in Japan it's considered "low class" because it's a custom from what are viewed as cheap "commoner" foods.
You don't even have a japanese name, so why would i trust u with this info lol
It's not a sign of respect but it's easier and tastier to eat the noodles that way and also cools them down.

I'm from Arizona so I can give a little more to that law involving Saguaro Cacti.
Like the narrator said, they take 2 centuries to fully mature, but the law is there for a different reason.
Saguaro Cacti ONLY grow wild in the Sonoran Desert which lies mostly within Arizona and Sonora, Mexico.
So they are considered endangered plants, and are protected by Arizona state law, even to the extent where if a Saguaro has to be removed due to construction or something else it MUST be re-planted nearby.
Removing without re-planting, killing, or even tryna pick the blossoms from the cactus can get you fined $10,000 or sent to prison for 10-25 years.
I'm good. You won't find me hanging around no pokey ass bitter water ass plant😂

That's true...Ive been to Italy many times and never had issues buying it. He has mistaken a cultural idea. Many Italians shant order after 11am. However, they understand that people visiting dont have same cultural ideas and do drink milk afterwards. Culture though has changed much in Italy and this idea is starting to change.
It may not be true, but it should be!
Yes it is false except the fact that anyone will look you disapproving your behaviour, if spot you eating pizza or spaghetti while drinking a cappuccino.
It completely ruins any food experience mixing flavours so badly...
And yes mixing milk with food like fish, gives you tummyaches unless you are so fortunate you have a stomach made of iron. 😀

Nowadays someone will always get offended everywhere, not only US :-D
Umm....not really
D Max lol
@grumpy old fart now THAT I'd love to see. And I'm sure I would, because it'd make the national news for sure.
I was traveling in the US when a pastor asked if I went to college. I replied that I did some welding courses and two years of astrophysics. Someone else in the room said "well well well, we got us a science major." They then proceeded to try to convince me that if i did not believe in the book of genesis that I was not a true Christian. The pastor started throwing bible verses at me. It's almost like it's a misdemeanor to be smart.
Indians have commented here that it's false info about taboo about left handed or left hand usage.
But the video has accurately mentioned that it is considered wrong or disrespectful to eat or handover food/money with left hand.
Traditionally we do not eat(food is considered as most pious form of offering to God) or handle money(represents goddess of wealth) by left hand as it is considered pious and divine.
Video gives the correct reason for that too.
About handshakes, well .. it is not in our culture to greet anyone with any sort of physical contact, we greet each other with a 'Namaste' 🙏🏼 posture by joining our own palms just like Japanese, only we do not bow but just bend our head forward in salutation.
So this shake hands thing is not originally our issue.
In corporate etiquettes it is taught that a man should not offer to shake hands with a woman unless she offers to shake hands.
In the end, yes I am a left handed person myself and a woman and an Indian who has worked in corporate world.. And all these restrictions, given the gentle and noble gesture they make, do not bother or offend me in the slightest. To the contrary I take pride in this traditional disciplinary customs that are getting erased by the modern way of lifestyle.

At India
After the outbreak of the Covid-19, one of the things that the world learned what should not do is handshaking, but greet people with Namaste, a gesture common in Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, India and some other parts of South and Southeast Asia
Soo...feeding pigeons in san Francisco is illegal due to pidgeon poop, but human poop is ok...considering what it looks like there lol
