@@SimonBrisbanenot everyone is thinking of selling after few miles anyway. It's cheap if it has served its purpose and it's time to move on to other shiny next bike then the drop is fine, atm the resale value is not low as you would think as many want to try this bike.
love to see it, out having a blast riding. To me, you get whatever you prefer they're all fun no matter what, when you're out ripping around with some friends!
Ive had my CFmoto 450 for a few days now and i love it, the only thing i noticed was that when i put my camping gear on an had a pillion passenger on the rear shock bottomed out on bumps every now and again. im 110 kgs with riding gear on, all i did was wind the preload down about 10mm and problem solved no more bottoming out, i would recommend this bike for a beginner or even a seasoned rider they've done a great job.......
My buddy had a T7 and he told me it's too big to wheelie. I ended up buying one and it actually wheelies really easy. 1,2,3rd. just pin throttle and drop clutch and it'll stand right up.
Man I have a feeling these are going to be like the T7 was. Very hard to get. Hey the main thing for me when choosing a bike is how it does on the highway. Here in Texas we have a lot of 75/80 mph roads and to be honest if you aren't doing at least 80, you will have people passing you. I'm sure you will get around to it once it is broke in and I'm really looking forward to all the info you plan on putting out for us to see.
@ i gotcha. I know it’s hard in your parts because of the weather. That had me cracking up when you couldn’t get up the icy driveway in the previous video, but hey, i got stuck in a little mud hole on my 1290SA-R because of the dern TC.
I am seriously in market for 450 - something cheap and light I can throw around. Both 450 MT and Enfield are about 180kg~200kg depending on your setup in reality. I thought this was pretty good idea until I realized that the weight is pretty much on par with Yamaha 700 - in reality that is. Now the price - here in California, MT & Enfield both are about USD$8500-ish or more inclusive of the dealer markup and taxes + fees.. Since T7 is about the $8~9k (yes, starting at $8k in Mountain Motor at Ontario in Feb 2025) in many dealers as a starting price, I just cannot say these 450cc are good deal these days. But do look around...so many good options are coming into the market including all singing and dancing new DRZ :D Its a good time to buy~
It’s only going to get better!! Some much great stuff coming into the market. CFMoto will be having a launch debut in South America in a week for so. 800x I believe…. pretty much the KTM 790 ADV R but less 💸 🍻🫡
Bike for a beginner? Why is it that a bike is always badged as a beginner bike. Compared to what? A T7 is then also a beginner bike compared to a 1300GS. The 450 does not seem like a beginner bike; it seems like a great bike for a lightweight, dual-sport bike. It is what it is, the same as a T7 is a different class than a 1300 or a Harley. ;)
Keep the videos coming, fella! Before you take it off-road , I’d definitely recommend you get rid of those stock tires and get some proper dirt rubber on there so you can get a true sense of it’s capabilities on dirt
Agreed, tires will definitely make a huge difference. I was running a MotOz Rallz rear and Mitas Enduro Plus front on my T7 last fall... loved that combo Thinking Dunlop D908RR Rally Raid Tires for the Ibex for the spring
CF Moto and Ducati have listened to the market and responded with great warranty options.. Ducati is super expensive but you are also getting a 2 year warranty. CF Moto instead of trying to be Tesla like and not have dealers.. they brought the product to market in traditional way.. many of the dealers sell regular brands like Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki ect..CF Moto has their bikes sitting next to competitors.. they have had a social media propaganda campaign and let thousands of people ride their bikes, ride before you buy.. just an outward act of confidence
I wonder what the next iteration will look like, and when it will come out. I find it funny BMW threw out a concept 450GS after this bike shook the market, lol.
It looks like it's built for shorter riders. I suppose an after market seat that replaces the camel like depression would compensate if it has enough ground clearance for trail riding. Presently, I just can't find a bike with adequate suspension, lack of extra weight, enough power to get out of trouble, high seat, and enough ground clearance. I guess everyone's looking for their Unicorn
is the cfmoto 450mt the best bike every or is it just really good marketing, i dont even have a motorcycle license and ive watched about a dozen 20+minute vids on it
Just has not been around long enough to see how these bike will hold up.... many of people seeing it first had in person and test riding it are pleasantly surprised... especially since it is manufactured in China. Just have to wait a few years once they clock some serious mile or maybe the engines will blow up 🍻🤣
If it wasn’t for the little bit of UA-cam revenue I get from these videos would have never bought it new. It will help me cover the fees and depreciation. Thanks for watching 🍻🫡
Ktm have power but thats about it … only their old engine like lc4 is reliable.. 450 cc ktm mx bike have more power than this but would u cross usa on it ?
People doubt the ability of the Chinese to manufacture good product, but they felt the same about the Japanese in the past. It’s only a matter of time, motorcycles aren’t rocket science.
@AdventureTomek I am a million percent sure you're not in my area, but if I was close enough that that could be a thing, I would be all about it. I have an FB food page and I'm going to start trying to talk restaurants into giving folks a deal if they mention me at the register.
Fear not said he for mighty dread had seized his troubled mind!!! I bought my first Chinese manufactured bike three years ago and traded it for another at 2 1/2 years having ridden it through all four seasons throughout. Nothing, you read that correctly, nothing had failed, there was little if any rust on the chassis, welds and the paint work was excellent, so much so the dealer gave me a great p/ex valuation. On that basis I have placed an order for the CF Moto 450, due in three months. The new bike is again Chinese with every bell and whistle available and it performs magnificently. I also have a Tenere World Raid, prior to that the basic T7 which after 12 months had a great deal of rust forming under the fuel tank. The World Raid barely ventures out, I prefer the Chinese Voge 900 which outperforms the Tenere with ease. China is producing quality engineering and have improved considerably over the last 10 years, We have a number of industrial machines with small Chinese engines manufactured in the main by Loncin and work them hard, change the oil more frequently than recommended but again non have failed. I reckon your concern is unfounded, they are in direct competition with the big 5 and right now giving them a run for their money. Soichiro Honda invaded the UK motorcycle market in the 70’s and we scoffed….but not for long. A lesson learned?
Considering there are many 450ss with the same engine out in the wild with many tens of thousands of trouble free miles, and the same can't be said of 790s I would say I'm not concerned of reliability of the cfmoto
They have been on the roads in other parts of the world including here in Australia for a year now, where they have been used in some extreme conditions and have not heard any real or reliability issues yet.
That bike is a real magnet to strangers! I always get compliments everytime I get her outside. Feels good man!
why would you want compliments from strangers ?:))

Tubless wheel is a big plus !
Love tubeless
Very, glad i had a tubeless repair kit in my yesterday's adventure.
Plug it and go ! No lift the bike remove wheel destroy your finger and wheel with spoon ... 😂 that's the only down side of the t7 !
We're gonna send it for sure. Oh heck ya! Can't wait for the snow to melt along the Front Range.
I can’t wait to get out on some trails. 😎
My only dislike from a quick sit on the bike at a dealer Friday is the width of the tank/fairing.
How tall are you? Are you hitting your knees on the tank?
@@AdventureTomek Not tall, 5'9". My comment mainly is in reference to comparing this to a T7, which is narrower in the same area.
@ 👍🏼
I have no idea how he wheelies the T7 like that. Awesome. I can’t wheelie mine for crap! 😂😂
He rocks that thing with the wheelies 🫡
Same, offroad it just spins the wheel and I'm not stupid enough to try it on the seal.
