There's a lot wrong about the Shadow because they tried to copy Harley with a look, compared against 80's Hondas, but you keep it because it's pretty. Foot pegs too far forward, no 5th gear light, keys danging off the side, keylocks seem to fail quickly and won't let go of your keys, speedo on tank too low for your eyes, speedo liquid crystal lcd destoyed by direct sunlight or speedo gets condensation moisture in it you can't get out, kind of a heavy bike, fenders not long enough on some models, back fender not long enough on all models and throws dirt on back swing arm, etc. I find it difficult to stop it safely and have to be very mindful when I drive it. It gets the job done, is a bog standard UJM basic bike, gets 50mpg, and like I said, it's pretty. The big plus is that like the Rebel, it's been made forever, which means parts are plentiful. And supposedly the engine is overbuilt and reputed to last a long time, but that is yet to be seen. One persons long time is another person poor showing. 80K does not impress me, mine better last 250K... or at least as long as a car.... if I garage keep it like you should keep all bikes. They don't fare well at all left in the weather. I've seen a lot of Shadows in the FB market place abused and destroyed by monkies.

I have had this bike since August, love riding it on/off road. Its smooth, feels light, and the 270twin sounds nice.Mine have the two holes exhaust, i believe it has a bit better sound 🤔. 10-15 more HP would've been good for highway riding, but it is what it is i guess.. I really hope that there wont be some major engine/gear problems in a long term, will ride and see. Stay safe guys, and enjoy your horses!

out of the box all CFMoto bikes are set for a 75KG rider suspension - its in the manual as is the front and rear suspension adjustment options

sick review, I personally would not be inclined to purchase another Chinese bike but it will be interesting to see how these CFMOTO bikes hold up. Will they stand the test of time? I think the engine certainly will but other parts I am not so sure. 'Rusty' is the word that keeps coming to my mind when I think Chinese.

I've had mine since August, loving it. I've heard others say they rev high 6500rpm @ 100kph, mine only revs at 5800rpm @100kph so I'm not changing to a 15t, I would lose my offroad lower gearing if I did. I fitted the CF Moto tall seat & crash bars

Just back up to that stone wall... and roll it off... trim the evergreen and you are wide open..

We have 2 of these in Mexico and love them!! We put on the rally seat and the 15 tooth front sprocket, Night and day difference! these bikes are going to shake up the Canadian market! Can't wait for our dealer in Canada to get them!

New to your channel, nice T7. I am not a target buyer or at all interested in Chinese bikes, but I'm sure eventually we won't have a choice as Honda, BMW, KTM are now partnering up with cheaper Asian manufacturers. Time will tell if this new crop of bikes and engines from India, China, Taiwan will be reliable. Thought for a sec you guys were local to me as we have an oskar blues here in NC. Didn't even know it was founded in CO. Learn something every day.
