Bone throw/aka blue bone:Use this for when your overwhelemed and when the chara team is attacking you all at once and ganging on you,they should back up and run away giving you time to breathe. Bone zone:Id reccomend using this for when you need to camp and the chara team is attacking you alot and rushing you its really good for surprising them and putting them off guard and good for camping at times Bone rain/bone shower/bone cascade:id say use this for when you are getting teamed up on camp and bathe in the attack just like bonezone its a good suprise attack and good for camping in. Oh wow! Merg UFS part 4! You're getting better and better each time dude!! i mean, what should i expect from MERG the sans no-hitter?? You might want to use your attacks sparingly as sans, because of cooldown. Especially for example Underswap papyrus (which i think you haven't seen yet) he is very tanky & deals SO MUCH DAMAGE but his cooldowns are VERY long. About progress locked? Whenever you get to a certain amount of WINS, you'll get progress-locked. This makes it so you can't get any more wins as chara and sans, and you will need to complete ONE of spamton's important quests, which vary on the sanses you currently have. Pacifist sans' FUN meter quest is the easiest since you get the FUN meter full so easily, but since you are halfway with Swap sans' "YOU'RE BLUE NOW!" quest (Using the blue soul attack 10 times as him) you might aswell just do that. You got to see a LOT OF SKINS in this video. skins don't affect the actual sans/papyrus moveset, just their looks. Go to the characters selection place 2. Choose the character you want to see the skins 3. Click on the Skins button 4. Click on the arrows that are used to choose a character
It's nice to see that every single server seems to have several people that know who merg is. That means that a large portion of the playerbase of this game knows about him.
Tip: all of the food heal, the monster candy just gives a healing over time affect on top off the direct heal. The direct heal for the sea tea is more than the candy but its your call what to use. (Also kindness makes the monster candy healing better so i would stay with that until you get the starfait)

Sorry for the late comment but progress lock is at 45 wins so you should have bad time sans, also you only have to do 1 important challenge and pacifist can be done in a single round as sans, hope this helps
after you started playing this game i did too, am at 60+ wins and got at least win as every character available, thanks for letting me know about this game as im having a lot of fun so far. :)
Here's a tip for swap. When doing the bone slam attack such as jumping in the air, if you aim your mouse at a certain direction you will jump in that area, this technique is pretty janky though BUT if you get it right it's a very good way to catch chara's off guard by jumping in their area instead of just jumping where you are instead. ALSO EDIT: A real good tip is that when using from what I know using atleast Cowboy Hat and Gun/Heartlocket and Worn knife, it will bring out your soul's color in it's special attacks, in which if you're using Kindness your attacks atleast from what I know with the worn knife you can heal allies with your slash if it's green. This only happens when using the core equipment as stated above. Only Purple soul and kindness affects allies but I have no idea what purple does, my guess is Iframe increase.

you can still use shiftlock when you using sans it can help move around with moves like the underswap run or papyrus skateboard you can deactivate shiftlock for moves that need you to aim like bone barrage or bone zone
Merg, something I've noticed you do is you zone in to one particular part of your screen. Good for single player, not so good for multiplayer. There are a couple things you're missing, like the first sea tea healed you, not just gave you stamina.
For when you're running with sands, you can press shift to make your character face your cursor that will be placed in the middle (like in first person). You'll need to enable shiftlock in Roblox's settings, it's very useful

I have one tip for you: tough gloves WREAKS hp. The special attack does about 40 DAMAGE as a BASE, 45 damage with bandanna and bravery soul, and about 65 HP with a strength buff. There okay when fighting some like bad time sans, but wreaks others like papyrus.
Hey merg I figured out you can do multiple quests and keep the progress in them but you can still lose the chance to switch back if someone refills (I learnt that the hard way) anyway hope this helps!
Okay so, this is gonna be a pretty long comment so fair warning, but I wanted to give some tips about things you saw throughout this video. I have over 300 wins so you can trust me on this stuff. First of all, Soul Combos are a thing. Combine a soul + the soul's weapon + the soul's armor and you get an upgraded weapon ability. Kindness + Pan + Apron = better healing for example. Next, when it comes to Underswap Sans, you were kinda screwed from the start. If there is a high wins player then Underswap Sans really struggles. Some players can pull it off, but I'm not one of them. My personal strategy when using him is to use the cage to stop the Charas from reaching me and try to hold out as long as possible before phase 1.5. When phase 1.5 is triggered, I then switch to using the cage as an attack. That strategy doesn't always work if there are people using either Empty Gun or Dull Knife though, since they both have ranged attacks. In regards to the progress lock, you only need to finish 1 of the 3 quests, but until you finish 1 you can't get any more wins or EXP, only money. The progress locks always give quests 3 characters at a time, so it's up to you to decide which quest you think will be easier. For example, progress lock 1 gives a quest for Pacifist Sans, Underswap Sans, and Bad Time Sans, because those are the first 3 characters. Going back to the Chara team real quick, you can cancel a ragdoll if you roll instantly after being ragdolled. It's a precise timing, but that's how the Charas kept unstunning after you jumped on them, and you even did it yourself by accident at 44:13. I think that's everything that comes to mind right now, but if anybody has any questions I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.
Merg when you are going against crossbones sans and over your head is an ! That means that an attack is near it is most likely the bone boomerang which is the one attack that will fly around and it can also be a bone jump for both crossbones and genocide sans. When you are going against genocide sans and bone jump is near it should show an ! Over your head
Amazing video as always, just one little thing try not to use every move as sans, like, when you end goofy run, you use bone zone and bone throw for no reason, try to keep the moves for a combo (The jump) also, using the cage combo is absurdly broken Cage, Bone Fall to half of the cage, jump to the half without the bones on the floor, then bone zone and bone throw to finish it off
Tip: Use goofy run as mobility or to escape; using goofy run for damage might be good in some cases, but it leaves you vulnerable to attacks. I recommend staying at one side of the map then using goofy run to escape to the other side, and then peppering the charas with attacks like bone throw. Blue soul is best paired with this too to slow down the charas and make it harder to dodge your attacks. Like Martlet probably said, "There's nothing wrong with a tactical retreat!" Swap!Sans(and most characters) are best played defensively; slowly whittling the chara team down while trying your best to evade them and their attacks.

46:40 i recommend you to use the goofy run to get a distance out of the player so you can get the cool down lower and try to save your dodge more so you dont go to second phase too fast because you died to fast bro
Tips about swap sans: your most damaging move is bone barrage. Use it as mugh as you can. Also use bonecage near the walls so there is less room for charas to dodge(the bonecage can go beyound map borders but charas cant) when you caught somebody in the cage, just spam moves at them. Save goofy run for mobility bc it helps avoid a lot of damage but sucks at attacking
I quote: “Is it homing or aiming?” Or “Using blue soul is illegal” Best merge quotes 2024 has to offer for ufs since he says the most silliest or funniest quotes at silly or funny times in the game. That’s what best about him
Merg. When you get the progress lock you get it at 45 wins, then 75, 125 then 330 wins. since your at the first one you can also use bad time sans (most call him geno sans), and you can also use science sans. you will have to get used to them though
Heres a tip When your fighting dust sans and you get on fire roll it will get rid of the fire Another one (Just incase you havent been reading the tips) When you get stunned roll you will get unstunned it has to be under 0.5 seconds or you wont get unstunned

ALSO EDIT: A real good tip is that when using from what I know using atleast Cowboy Hat and Gun/Heartlocket and Worn knife, it will bring out your soul's color in it's special attacks, in which if you're using Kindness your attacks atleast from what I know with the worn knife you can heal allies with your slash if it's green. This only happens when using the core equipment as stated above. Only Purple soul and kindness affects allies but I have no idea what purple does, my guess is Iframe increase.

I think you might be able to shoot multiple times with the gun in a row, which is why it keeps you in aiming mode.
hello merg! you can see the player leaderboard and also your wins just by pressing tab in the game, its a way to tell how many wins, exp, lvl, or coins you have :)

you can still use shiftlock when you using sans it can help move around with moves like the underswap run or papyrus skateboard
you can deactivate shiftlock for moves that need you to aim like bone barrage or bone zone
Just a tip, the purple flame buffs from the book counts as attacks and will damage the sans

Merg, something I've noticed you do is you zone in to one particular part of your screen. Good for single player, not so good for multiplayer. There are a couple things you're missing, like the first sea tea healed you, not just gave you stamina.
For when you're running with sands, you can press shift to make your character face your cursor that will be placed in the middle (like in first person).
You'll need to enable shiftlock in Roblox's settings, it's very useful

I have one tip for you: tough gloves WREAKS hp. The special attack does about 40 DAMAGE as a BASE, 45 damage with bandanna and bravery soul, and about 65 HP with a strength buff. There okay when fighting some like bad time sans, but wreaks others like papyrus.

Hey merg I figured out you can do multiple quests and keep the progress in them but you can still lose the chance to switch back if someone refills (I learnt that the hard way) anyway hope this helps!

Okay so, this is gonna be a pretty long comment so fair warning, but I wanted to give some tips about things you saw throughout this video. I have over 300 wins so you can trust me on this stuff. First of all, Soul Combos are a thing. Combine a soul + the soul's weapon + the soul's armor and you get an upgraded weapon ability. Kindness + Pan + Apron = better healing for example. Next, when it comes to Underswap Sans, you were kinda screwed from the start. If there is a high wins player then Underswap Sans really struggles. Some players can pull it off, but I'm not one of them. My personal strategy when using him is to use the cage to stop the Charas from reaching me and try to hold out as long as possible before phase 1.5. When phase 1.5 is triggered, I then switch to using the cage as an attack. That strategy doesn't always work if there are people using either Empty Gun or Dull Knife though, since they both have ranged attacks. In regards to the progress lock, you only need to finish 1 of the 3 quests, but until you finish 1 you can't get any more wins or EXP, only money. The progress locks always give quests 3 characters at a time, so it's up to you to decide which quest you think will be easier. For example, progress lock 1 gives a quest for Pacifist Sans, Underswap Sans, and Bad Time Sans, because those are the first 3 characters. Going back to the Chara team real quick, you can cancel a ragdoll if you roll instantly after being ragdolled. It's a precise timing, but that's how the Charas kept unstunning after you jumped on them, and you even did it yourself by accident at 44:13. I think that's everything that comes to mind right now, but if anybody has any questions I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.

Merg when you are going against crossbones sans and over your head is an ! That means that an attack is near it is most likely the bone boomerang which is the one attack that will fly around and it can also be a bone jump for both crossbones and genocide sans. When you are going against genocide sans and bone jump is near it should show an ! Over your head

try not to use every move as sans, like, when you end goofy run, you use bone zone and bone throw for no reason, try to keep the moves for a combo (The jump) also, using the cage combo is absurdly broken
Cage, Bone Fall to half of the cage, jump to the half without the bones on the floor, then bone zone and bone throw to finish it off
Tip: Use goofy run as mobility or to escape; using goofy run for damage might be good in some cases, but it leaves you vulnerable to attacks. I recommend staying at one side of the map then using goofy run to escape to the other side, and then peppering the charas with attacks like bone throw. Blue soul is best paired with this too to slow down the charas and make it harder to dodge your attacks.
Like Martlet probably said, "There's nothing wrong with a tactical retreat!"
Swap!Sans(and most characters) are best played defensively; slowly whittling the chara team down while trying your best to evade them and their attacks.

Tips about swap sans: your most damaging move is bone barrage. Use it as mugh as you can. Also use bonecage near the walls so there is less room for charas to dodge(the bonecage can go beyound map borders but charas cant) when you caught somebody in the cage, just spam moves at them. Save goofy run for mobility bc it helps avoid a lot of damage but sucks at attacking

Merg. When you get the progress lock you get it at 45 wins, then 75, 125 then 330 wins. since your at the first one you can also use bad time sans (most call him geno sans), and you can also use science sans. you will have to get used to them though
