Ok... Yozoras girl, the nameless star, recognizes yozora as a completely different looking person... she told sora that "his heart was replaced with another"
And she's clearly talking about someone named yozora here because sora said "wait, that girl, she told me about you" and yozora tells sora "this isnt what I really look like". So yozoras heart is in the wrong body entirely. So what am I getting at here? I have a theory that the heart that originally belonged to this noctis/riku lookalike is actually Luxu's original body. Reason being is the crossbow similarity, xigbar/Luxu and this yozora characters are the only 2 in kingdom hearts to use a crossbow.
So now that we know what Luxu's original body is, I think yozora is the first body/vessel he switched to. And this vessel/yozora's real body is who the nameless star is talking about and who she is picturing in her mind when talking about yozora. I just wonder what yozora actually looks like.

@@nave712 Yozora? He doesn't if anything he looks like a mix of Riku and Noctis and it might be used later as mistaken identity ones we play as Riku in Varum Rex world in some future game. Personally, I think that similarities between Yozora and Riku are, more-less coincidence, but this is Nomura so who knows.

Sora is a game/fantasy character in Verum Rex world. Basically one realities "reality" is the origin of anothers "fantasy".
Somebody probably came up with the idea of Verum Rex in his sleep which is how the game was made in Toy Box. Sleep is close to the border of death and VR is KH's afterlife and vise versa. They meet on the border between realities as Yozora sleeps (Versus Noctis' death perception ability).
A fantasy based on reality. And a Reality based on fantasy. Sora looks realistic and Yozora cartoony because they meet in the "between".
weird is that yozora/or rather the body he's in to, -has patches on his shoulders wich Shows a with *_keyblades_* crossed skull with spikey hair on the side (like soras) and a crown
like the traditional crown from KH you know
my first thought was, that there is a person in yozoras world(in the world from the body that yozora is in right know), that is like a counterpart or parallel universe sora.
this sora was kind of a hero like he is in KH, he helped to save many people and the kingdom, but fell in a fight when he wanted to overthrow the bad king. that's why yozora/his body is wearing theses patches on the shoulder. to honor him/ to say like: _that is the true king!"_
as a sign that there are in the same team, like pirates.

And for the question why yozora didn't recognize sora or was wondered about his appearance:

I think you're on to something. I would add that that was the true king and was what Yozora originally looked like. Yozora's true form should look like counterpart to Sora but something hapoened to make him look like alternate Riku.
@@smoothsoulbrotha That would explain Rex recognizing Sora as Yozora. He's on the cover in a Riku-like body, but looks more like Sora in the backstory of the game.
I was blown away when Sora just outright confirmed the Nameless Star wasn't Strelitzia out of nowhere.
What is also interesting is the fact that when you arrive at toystory they mistook sora for yozora. If you look at sora's clothes in the toy story world, he has the exact same clothes on as yozora has. It's clear they have a very big connection. And i think that they are basically the same. Each being a part of a coin, yozora bein the night, and sora the day.

What?
There are two things that I noticed about Yozora.
First is that he seems to be the complete opposite of Sora. Reserve, guarded, entirely technological while Sora is entirely magical, even how they fight are complete opposites, but that's the obvious.
The second that I noticed is that Yozora seems to be defined by the night sky while Sora is defined by the day sky. This is significant because the day sky smiles down on all who gazes above while the night sky contains and connects the countless stars. Now correct me if I am wrong but wasn't all the other worlds represented as stars in the night sky at one point? Points of light. As whether day or night the sky is the same, it seems that both Sora and Yozora are intrinsicly linked, only that the roles seem to have reversed. Sora is now the mysterious entity that seems to have all the answers.
So, if Yozora is looking for Stella-expy/"Sora" then it seems to me that Yozora doesn't know what his "Sora" looks like. It seems like he only knows her name (maybe he's heard of her from someone else or his friends?), which is why he says he's heard of Sora and is surprised when Sora says his name. Furthermore, since Sora recognizes him despite his appearance, maybe Yozora takes that as a sign that Sora is really his "Sora." Plus, maybe he accepts Sora is really his "Sora" because he figures because he doesn't look the way he's supposed to maybe "Sora" doesn't either. So, I think Yozora believes our Sora is his "Sora" hence why he says he'll save him/her.
I'm still not convinced by this theory, but that's how I'd view things if the Stella-expy's name really is "Sora". That said, Sora really does look like the Stella-expy...
MoM possesing Yozora? That's why one of his eyes is blue while the other is red. MoM put on of his blue eyes on Luxu's keyblade.
I think MoM's eyes are blue and Yozora's are red. But yeah, I also thought about Yozora being a MoM container or something like that. We at least know they're connected in some way.

Piece of advise if you decide to play it. Start from the beginning or do a lot of research if you’re going to start on a later game. If you don’t, you’re gonna be extremely confused.

@@NextGenNovelist honestly when the star said "they took everything" and that he would "be distressed at my absence" I thought Nomura was subtly alluding to how they took versus 13 from him and that they changed the games name and everything. But yozora,being noctis would be distressed that his world(versus 13) was stolen changed into 15 lol.

Cause what I got was: Sooo she isnt sterletzia and instead is the girl from yozora cutscene in toystory probably and what she means by he's been changed by recognition is that he got turned into noticeff15. She goes on to say that however if the parameters are met and he is back to normal then he is definitely looking for her (and in the bad ending of the secret cutscene confirms that by him saying he will save someone). My guess is that someone likely the master of masters to make sure his order is still in his control told yozora somehow that Sora is the reason for some atrocitys in his world which explains the hostility at the beginning of the encounter
When Sora says... "That girl, she told me about you." Yozora doesn't react at all. If Yozora recognized that Sora was talking about the girl he loves he would've said something other than "Are you done?" He would've asked Sora where she is or what girl. And even when he wakes up from his dreams in the car, he doesn't seem too desperate to know what happened, just confused and tired. Therefore, I believe remnants of Yozora's heart have him going into the final world to seek after his girl ("I wandered into this place"), but he's not fully conscious of it because another heart is dominant inside of him. This is the one who has replaced his heart (like a Ventus/Sora situation, if Ventus was in control). That leaves the question of who is in Yozora's heart besides Yozora and why? Whoever it is can take on (maybe even possess?) the form of others. That's why in the bad ending we see "Yozora" standing in place of Sora in the Final World. I think this person took over Yozora's heart for his powers. Yozora's power must be helpful in thwarting the Master of Masters and Sora is somehow another key, which is why he was crystalized. That's also why Yozora was told to look for Kingdom Hearts Sora, by some one who probably knows KH Sora (people from TWEWY? Luxord? Ava?) to be the key to everything OR Yozora's own heart is telling him to save HIS Sora, or, get this BOTH. Meanwhile the real Yozora doesn't remember clearly the things he dreams or the heart that is inside him OR the girl he is missing, which is why he asks what is real to himself when he wakes up in the car. Yozora is the Anti-Sora, the Night Sky to Sora's Sky. Both are needed. The "Yozora" in the Final World wants to save Sora, Yozora himself who is struggling to remember he must save his girl. "Yozora" is the virus in the system, he is trying to stop the Master's Plan so he will need both Sora and Yozora.
I noticed that duality between "night sky" and Sora's "sky"
Yeah the idea that this Yozora has a Ventus/Sora heart situation going on seems possible, especially given his strange determination to save Sora, despite such limited communication. Certainly seems similar to how Sora was talking to Roxas in ReMind.
Though one possibility for why Yozora doesn't react to Sora mentioning the nameless star, is that Yozora knows more about that final world than Sora does. He certainly seems able to trigger the station of awakening, and TWEWY consciously. He also mentions 'fate' as something that brought him to Sora. Perhaps the fact he and Sora were able to meet there at all says more than we know, and means Sora's got the connection to him.
Ok ok I'm starting to understand your idea like, as far as Yozora knows, he lowkey thinks our sora is his sora thus explains some of his mannerisms towards him (lowkey soft) but as u said hes still confused but regardless is still trying to save someone

Pretty much. I could be completely wrong on some part of this, but I'm certain the Nameless Star is who he was originally meant to save. I mean, in the Verum Rex trailer, he's trying to save her but he doesn't manage to from what we see, and then when we finally meet him he's telling us he needs to "Save Sora".
Good job, I think you're spot on about this character having the same heart connection to the Verum Rex guy, as Sora had to Ven and Roxas. Sora can feel their connections, can have some limited communication with them, but doesn't really remember anything they do. Perhaps his confusion stemmed from the fact that he was expecting Sora to be a girl, even if he didn't know what she looked like.
Now I'd like to know how he's connected to Riku. Are he and Riku a product of the same person? Is he a product of Riku? Is it just because Sora's looking at him and Sora's recognizing something of Riku in him? So mysterious!
So here is my theory, and i think I'm definitely onto something. I believe everything you do, but i also believe that if you play ever nomura game, he has painted a clear picture. This theory involves the world ends with you (TWEWY), KHuX , Final Fantasy versus XIII, and FF characters. So in the world of KH, sora's base world (destiny islands) is a world swallowed by darkness, which geographically mirrors the edge of darkness. Xehanort was also from here, which almost confirms my theory. I believe the prime timelime xehanort existed in the SAME dimension as Verum Rex, but was so adventurous (World Tour mentioned in RE:Mind) that he allowed his world to be the tether of the dark and light worlds.
The real world, outside of light and dark, is the "real world", aka the final fantast versus xiii world, and the world of cloud and leon. Verum Rex is "reality", and Yozora is a character that can somehow blend through the layers as if they were squished. So the Toy Story world we see in their universe is ACTUALLY the key to everything. This toy story isnt our toy story, its a toy story whose world is already in darkness (hence heartless). Which means their version of KH is a dark version, hence verum rex. they never heard of sora because sora is a being of light, and his game exists in the light world (which is the player's world, as explained in KHuX). Nomura is hinting that FF versus 13 was the connection of KH and the final fantasy universe, with the lore being that the main character (Noctis/Yozora) has powers connected to death, and that those who are connected to death can see when hearts leave their world. Yozora muststill be this and i believe that is what is in the Verum Rex trailer. Its showing the StarGirl's heart being lost to the final world.
Now where this gets interesting is the city. With it being shibuya, and kh3D connecting to twewy, i believe that nomura is hinting that we will finally be in living shibuya, but that this world's shibuya acts as a dimensional gateway, with its universe having had a scala ad caelum at one point, darkness and light existing in peace. I believe what we see is Yozora playing the dead mans game that Neku plays.
Now here is where it gets extra crazy: i believe Yozora is actually Brain from KhUX, and i believe Brain is the body of Luxu with the heart of ava, which is why in KhUx after luxu and ava fight, ava fights the kids and then disappears and doesnt return in KH3. I think the StarGirl IS strelitzia, and the reason she was killed and how it all connects is because i think ava's prohecy was to save sora. I think it was imprinted on her and Luxu knew, hence why brain is so confusing and weird, why yozora still wants to save sora, and why "his heart was swapped with another".
TL;DR: So basically, Luxu's original body is Yozora and Sora is the key to the universe because of his pure heart, which may be the key to the TRUE kingdom hearts, and the reason MoM put it all in place. I think he knew Xehanort would be overenthusiastic and create a kingdom hearts from a place of darkness, which was the heart of all worlds. Darkness entered their realm and separated the worlds affected by the heart of all worlds (Kingdom Hearts). There is another kingdom hearts in Verum Rex, this one being the heart of hearts. (This is what you see StarGirl or Red Hair girl going toward in Verum Rex. I believe she was close, but was stopped by whatever enemy is in that world. And yozora thought he could go too, but their connection was shattered. The MoM is a time traveler from the future who lived in the Verum Rex world and somehow had a part in designing the dead mans game, which created a dual reality for people who can use the power of waking, like Luxu and the foretellers (whose body is used by Yozora). A world both alive and dead. Problem was, MoM didnt have any way of truly testing it. So i believe he found a way to time traveler using Luxu, then he manipulated Luxu with the book of prophecies. i think the black box holds memories of the Verum Rex world, and that memories are the key to time travel (hence the goat letter story of xigbar) in thier universe. So in the normal timeline, there was no keyblade war, the age of masters was peaceful and the world was light. This is the universe everyone seems to remember in radiant garden. Faintly. So in the age of dandelions, MoM goes back in time and creates the idea of the power of waking by putting his eye into the NoName and giving it to Luxu, knowing luxu would not only have the power to return to his world and change their universe, but that the MoM would also know his future was playing out. this is why the keyblade war happened. The problem then was that the dandelions escaped and bought themselves time. But MoM knew of this, and that is why Luxu's prohecy was to defeat Ava. he switched bodies with her, began his journey, and left her confused. this is where the Brain character comes from. And then Brain, having the powers of waking, returns to the Verum Rex world with an identity crisis. Hence why the dandelion organization members act so weird, because KH3 is the true end of the prohecy, and the dandelions memories are being returned and they see that Brain/Yozora was of a different place, and that sora was soon going to be gone. Luxord giving the card is so that yozora somehow knows sora is NOT an enemy. Ava's prohecy must have mentioned saving sora, which is why its imprinted on Yozora, and why the lone star (strelitzia) is the heart of the StarGirl after she didnt make it to kingdom hearts. why she is named sora, i believe, is so that yozora wil be confused, and crystalize sora, aka send him into the reaper's game, and letting him have a chance to regain his true heart. I think the freezing is the only way to send sora to where he needs to go to escape. Riku arrives there because he also can naturally sleep and wake. He may look like riku because this is what brain saw when he saw sora's savior (could happen during kh3d), just like how vanitas looks like sora. and roxas like ventus. So thenext game will explore the reapers game, and how it looks from the living side.

Thanks. It tracks heavily. I may have some details off, but Ava being Yozora makes the most sense. She is a shapeshifter, has after image power, and is the only one shrouded in mystery. And the connections between twewy and ff versus are hard to ignore, especially since kh3d confirmed that somehow death and waking are connected. Maybe neku and those in the reaper game also have this power, they just exist in a world where the mechanics of the universe are different. Ansem the wise probably has some connection, hence the growing connection to digital realms after kh1.
Everyone here talking about theories and I just sit here thinking about all the potential boyfriends Sora has. Oh boy Sora, you are quite the catch apparently xD

Just like to point out that there was this prototype tech demo that Square Enix had two years ago that had a character who ended up becoming possessed and had one blue eye and one red eye like Yozora. However, I believe Yozora's true eye color is red like how Noctis were in the Versus XIII trailer when he went into Armiger back in 2006. The blue eye in my hypothesis are not his but belongs to another person who hijacked his body and I believe that is the Master of Masters seeing as the "gazing eye" has a blue eye color similar to Yozora's.

I think you’re probably spot on with most of this. Regardless of whether Sora is the girl’s name, it’s clear he believes a “Sora” is personally very important to him, not just some stranger he’s supposed to save. Even though he doesn’t recognize our Sora, he quickly becomes convinced he’s the one. Personally I think it’s likely that it was MoM that told him to “save Sora”; Yozora knew he had made an oath to save someone important to him but he couldn’t remember who. Then MoM comes along (maybe the reason Yozora lost his memories in the first place) and tells him that the important person he’s looking for is named Sora. Of course Yozora wouldn’t trust him immediately, but it’s the only lead he’s got. MoM maybe tells him “You’ll meet Sora very soon, then you’ll know”, so when Yozora does meet Sora, he’s now convinced MoM was telling the truth.
That’s just a theory though- it makes more sense to me than the idea that Riku or someone else told him to save Sora for the reasons you mention. I think MoM might be taking advantage of someone who can be easily manipulated, due to Yozora’s lost memories and confusion. Just like how Marluxia wanted to turn Sora into a puppet in CoM by erasing his real memories and making him a slave to the false memories Namine gave him.

The Angel# 104 has so many parellels with Yozora and Sora's Relation, (and soras relationship to Kairi who both have wings in the dlc) the numbers are even more surpising bc in the cutscene Yozora stands on the side of #1 and Sora stands on the #4 and guess who is 0? the MoM(look at it like this M0M) 0 Is the universe(what draws in everything) guess what is pulled in before the fight starts? Literally everything of the final world into the center of where Yozora and Sora stand which happens to be the 0 in 104 1-Yozora/M(0)M\Sora-4
#1 stands for Strength Yozora thinks he cant lose meanwhile #4 Stands for Order and Humanity that resides in us/our hearts aka the Light which is Sora , Also at the end of the fight if Sora loses he at where #0/Center would be and if Yozora loses Yozora stands at the 0/Center and before the fight starts they are separated staring down each other by the end both are in the center(which also happens to be where everything was pulled in b4 the fight) where one or the other disappears and ends up in the final world again
And then there the question from yozura.

That right there indicates there is another Sora.
I to believe the nameless star is the girl and she’s sora from the venomrex world.
Yozura looks like Riku. The boy with the hat has the same hair color and eyes that Kairi does. And by going by what has been done before in every game except for dream drop distance.
KH1 it was sora( male), Riku, and Kairi.
In 385 2 1/2 days it was Roxas axel and Xion.
Birth by sleep it was Terra, Ventus, and Aqua.
Every game always had two males and one female.
So since yozura is close enough to match Riku and the one with the hat is a match to a male Kairi. We are missing one piece. The female character. And that means she is sora dimensional counterpart

@@johnsantos507 John is implying the nameless star’s name is Sora. Based on Yozora’s body language the name Sora clearly has some importance to him which has people like NextGenNovelist and myself believing that the reason why Sora, the name, has so much importance to Yozora is because that’s the name, or at the very least, nickname of the nameless star.
Yeah it’s confusing but not as confusing as lore of the Xeno series. Now that’s confusing. I’ll describe it in a few words: esoteric knowledge derived from Gnosticism. If you think Nomura is bad then Takahashi and his wife are the arch sages of complex plots and confusing lore.
I've always thought when yozora said save sora everyone takes it as rescue. But in the losing cut scene yozora literally saves his body in a crystal. I've also saw theories about how the master put his heart inside of all the foretellers including luxu which means theres still one that hasnt accounted for because he splintered it into 7 pieces so maybe that last one was yozora and he is now turning into the master of masters

That's cool and all, really. I like listening to theories and asumptions about the game. But, there is one thing that annoys me and prevents from taking the rest of the stuff seriously. How is it possible for Verum Rex to be just a videogame in KH? That's so mind boggling. Eventually, Verum Rex happened to be real, but then, what or who made it into a videogame? And if it is a somebody, why did it do that and how old is this other World? I may have missed some things, but I cannot be the sole casual distressed by this.

That was very well explained. I agree that Nameless Star is talking about Yozora. I am really hoping that her name isn't Sora still if she gets a really good nickname I will be alright with it, maybe.
So I am going to try a clear my thoughts so I can say an idea that may fit with your theory. Yozora doesn't look like what his true heart would look like. As his heart was invaded by another. As the body reflects what the heart shows in Kingdom Hearts when the invadieion happened his body would have changed how it looks. If the two hearts are fighting within him it could very well be that he has messed up memories. The only reason that Sora didn't have Ventus was that he was mostly asleep the whole time, and Roxas had so much anger and wished to be his own person so much that he tried really hard not to meld back into Sora. Terranort however had a lot of trouble with memories because both hearts where fighting all the time. What we ended up with was a Terranort with little bits of both of them.
So we are agreeing that Yozora is more of a Terranort and less of a Sora. He thinks of himself as Yozora but most likely his memories are a mixture of both him and the invader. When Yozora is freed form this invader he will most likely have a different personality then what we are seeing right now as well as a new look.
Here we come to the 'saving Sora' thing and my idea if your theory is mostly true and my dislike of her name being Sora. Yozora's heart is giving the order to save Nameless star, but he has only what she looks like. The invading heart has the name Sora. So with the confusion Yozora has decided that face of Nameless Star and the name Sora have to be the same person even though they never where.
Now who would the invader be? Well if we really don't want Nameless Star to be names Sora which she could be and I am just making this hard on everyone their are a few people I really don't want it to be. Neither Riku or Kari I don't believe that either one would invade another person plus in the time they are doing the graveyard they are both accounted for and Yozora has already been invaded for likely a long time. Still it would have to be someone that knows Sora or at lest knows of him. It could be so many people Sora meets a lot of people both good and bad, it also wouldn't surprise me if MoM or people connected to him know about Sora through the Book.Though that does get in the way of my head cannon that Sora isn't in the Book at all.
I have run to the edge of the cliff of unknown. Until I have more information form the story I have no idea of who the invader is only a few guesses on who it can not be. In fact the more that I think about it the more Nameless Star also being called Sora makes a lot more sense despite the fact that I don't like it.
I enjoyed your thoughts. I appreciate that you have really taken in my theory and given your own ideas to add onto it. I think what you said about the face of the Nameless Star being connected to the name Sora might indeed just be apart of the confusion Yozora is going through because of the conflict in his heart. Very interesting idea, and fits the established lore. I wouldn't mind being wrong if that turned out to be the truth. Also, maybe we don't know who the invader IS, but through the process of elimination, we can figure out who it almost certainly ISN'T. Thanks for the comment !

When I watch a theory video that I chose to comment on I always try and go at it as if the maker of the video is right at lest partly. I am not always able to do so but if I do disagree as in I am having trouble agreeing with what they then I try to give my reasons why. It is the way that my father told me to talk to other. Find a thing on which you can agree with them then continue with your own thoughts.

“Verum Rex” means the one true king. Which gives light to noctis. So what if yazora is going through what terra went through. Even terra couldn’t remember himself after his fall into darkness. His hair turned white and he didn’t even know himself. 2) yazora is a nobody of noctis which the star can be lunafreya or Stella. Again the secret movie of kh3 showed that “Luxu” was in shibuya could’ve told him or orchestrated Yazora to fight sora conceiving the idea that sora is not sora. You learn who Sora really is by playing KHIII Data Battles on Crit Level 1. You have to memorize the pattern to be Xehanort with. Then you realize who he really is just by actually playing against the bosses on the hardest difficulty. Sora literally is made from every body he meets.
After you beat Yazora, did you realize that Sora is an entity that is comprised of all of the chess pieces on a chess board. He exists inside the Black Box as a Chess Piece (King,Knight,Rook ect.). He's Literally made up from all of the musical compositions, Chess Pieces, and moves that the bosses use, in a sequence on the controller that is memorizable. And if you repeat that pattern on the controller exactly, that it will always win against the boss? Any boss you play against? In any Kingdom Hearts Game too. The same Sequence will work on any boss in Kingdom Hearts games.
This is a crazy theory but just imagine.
What if Yozara is Ava. As per book of prophesies darkness wins so ava had read that sora dies. Then when sora said to yozora(Ava) hes sora, Ava had a confused look as to how u survived the war and thats y ava says y u using sora names. Also when sora says have u heard of me, ava says sure iv heard(read) abt u
This is the theory closest to my own ideas about yozora. I personally don’t think “Sora” is the Star Girl’s name despite what Yozora says (“Why are you using Sora’s name?”) because it seems too obvious.
In my opinion, the whole Sora-as-the-Stargirl’s-name clue is more of a red herring, although the connection-specifically, the connection Yozora makes between the name “Sora” and the Stargirl-is obviously important.
I do acknowledge that the whole “Sora is the girl’s name” thing could go either way. It could end up being her actual name, or it could not.
Everything else about this theory hit all the points I agree with though! I’ve been waiting to see a theory like this, and I found one only a year late lol.
I interpret Yozora’s situation as similar to Sora’s situation in Chain of Memories. In CoM, Sora was looking for someone important to him: Riku. But the more time he spent in Castle Ovlivion, the more his memories were changed and tampered with (by Namine).
By the time he finally meets and confronts Namine, Sora believes Namine is the person he had forgotten and was trying to find. Only for Namine to disprove that. Sora then assumes, based only on visual “clues” and vague feelings/memories from his heart, that the person he forgot/is looking for is Kairi. And Namine never says no, but she never says yes either (but that’s a slightly separate issue).
To me, Yozora seems to be in a similar situation. His memories/feelings have been changed, due to his heart being replaced. Somehow, Yozora knows he is supposed to be looking for someone. This could be because “he was told to”, and who told him could end up being a person or his heart’s lingering will or whatever you’d call it.
If a person was the one to tell Yozora to “save Sora”, then Yozora would therefore assume “a person named Sora” is the person Yozora is looking for. (And therefore leaving star girl’s name unknown)
If it was Yozora’s heart that “told him” to “save Sora”, the assumption would be the same. Yozora would naturally associate the name “Sora” with “the person he’s looking for”. (Which would likely also mean the girl’s name is Sora)
A Twitter account I saw theorized this misinterpretation of clues and feelings could explain why Yozora acts the way he does towards Sora: cold one instance, warm the next. Why Yozora fights and threatens Sora, only to smile and/or promise to save Sora afterwards.
It’s actually reminiscent of Sora’s behavior towards Namine in CoM. Because Namine was literally a stranger, Sora could only be distantly concerned for her when he wasn’t busy being plain confused. He talked about her as if talking about a random girl, because that’s what Namine was.
And throughout this whole time, Riku is the one Sora treats/talks about like a close friend/someone important to Sora. Because that’s what Riku was.
And yet, by the end of Sora’s story, he’s become so confused and mixed up that Sora believes Namine is the close friend he’s been looking for. And yet, his language doesn’t reflect that, at least not consistently. Similarly to Yozora, Sora speaks to Namine as if she’s just this nice girl he met, but in the same breath he tells her that he promised to protect her, how they were such good friends, etc.
We’ll have to wait and see what becomes of Yozora and his “mission” to “save Sora”. To see if Yozora ever realizes KH Sora is not the person he’s looking for, and everything else that remains unanswered. But I love rambling about CoM and wondering wtf is going on with Yozora atm 😁
I cringe at this old video, but I'm glad you found something in it lol. I still think it's possible Yozora had a lingering desire to save someone called Sora (who I still believe is the Nameless Star) and that's how he was "told", but in my recent video about it I didn't mention this because I honestly had forgotten I'd even said it. I was saying it could be the Master of Masters, which I do think if an actual person told him, that's the most likely. I think in this instance there's more of an identity crisis rather than a memory loss situation, but the thing is, identity and memories are tied together, and in KH that's the case too, like you pointed out with the CoM comparisons. I know a lot of people don't agree with the Star Sora theory for one reason or another, but whenever I see another name suggested for her, it doesn't fit what's happened as well. Like if her name is Stella, why is there confusion over the name "Sora" specifically then? But yeah, thanks for leaving your comment on this old video. I'm glad to know someone could still enjoy it

I think that I understand now. Yasora is kind of what would have Happened if instead of Ven lying Dormant in Sora He took over Sora's Body and Sora had the Desire to, Save Riku. He would do what he could to protect him from when he opened up the door to Darkness. I think the Form he's in now is called Vernum Rex.
Yeah that definitely seems like the KH rule that's being applied here. He's connected to someone who wants to save Sora, but he doesn't have any memory himself of it, he just knows its important. It's his connection to Riku that's quite strange. Is he some kind of remix of Riku? Or is Riku a result of him? So many interesting details!

@@lockskelington314 I don't know, there's quite a few details that make Yasora and Sora unique compared to other clones we've seen thus far. One in particular that sticks out, is that Nameless Star says they've been changed beyond recognition, which is different from the heart connections we've seen. The change she's referring to seems to fit with Sora insisting he is Sora to Yozora, where there was never any identity confusion with Roxas. He always wondered why people called him Roxas. These two kinds of connections seem distinct.
Damn it feels like Nomura has all the puzzle pieces on the board, but I can't see how they connect.

He does seem to have the same control over the simulation that Sora has, so maybe he's the main character in a different dream/simulation thing. I'm guessing, Sora and this Yozora are the people that the nameless star couple were changed into. Which doesn't bode well for our Sora, if Yozora wants to change him back.

I don’t believe that Yozora is his real name; I think it’s his nickname or new name that he was given after his heart was replaced with another’s. I believe that whatever happened to him, he thinks happened to his lover. Sora (the nameless star), I believe, isn’t her real name either. There may be more of a connection between the names “Sora” & “Yozora” than we think.
