I use to teach high school in Pulaski, TN, and it was one of the best experiences of my teaching career, The students, whom were majority white, were some of the most respectable kids I have ever encountered. They worked for me, and caused me no problems, ever. The staff was Friendly, nice & very professional. I am a black woman, who enjoyed the school, city and it’s people.

My best teacher in Georgia growing up in the 1980s was a black woman. Mrs. Jackson. Loved that woman so much. The whole town showed up for her funeral. The whole town was silent for her that day. This video does us all an injustice by cherry picking and removing context.

Unfortunately, yes. They don’t know they are racist! It’s definitely taught, and most unfortunate, because those people will never know what they may miss, as far as knowledge and friendship!
I'm German and while there's racism in Germany too, there's is one major difference. You will never be expected to identify as part of any ethnicity when you fill out a form. Speaking as a Bostonian of course not a black man this comes up all the time 😊 but according to friends of mine both black. They think often times it's never mentioned it because it seems to go by neighborhood. In Boston is very neighborhood territorial. And they also seem to include not in on Boston but near Boston communities like Cambridge Somerville. So I think it just gets chopped up by neighborhood more. And that's why it somehow the city gets away from not getting the label .
Yep. Black folks are on high alert there. As someone who appers to be white, whenever I asked for directions or a simple question innocently to a black person, they became agitated and fearful.
The city of Boston isn’t as racist as people make it seem. It’s the people from the suburbs who come to sports events that give the city a bad rep. I’ve lived in Boston for 42yrs and I’m black l. It’s not what the media makes it. You see all the places on this list are small rural towns.

There is a fantastic 4-day, "Juke Joint Festival," every April, just 50 miles south of Memphis. Come on down and boogie.
The good people you speak of, should not have to live with a poverty rate of 37%. A history of and continuing systemic racism is most likely the cause of that.

The Holocaust wasn't done for the money. The Klan didn't get rich by lynching blacks. The worst forms of racism are motivated by the racist's insecurities. They will take advantage of greed when the opportunity presents itself, but that only enables them, it doesn't create them.
I'm an old Navy brat, which means from the early 1960s through 1970 I lived on base housing. In other words, in some of the few truly integrated neighborhoods at the time. That, and three years in a foreign posting, shaped my understanding that we are all just HUMAN.

Growing up and living in the south, I experienced the time of desegregation. There were few issues I experienced during this time. Mr. Jones was our new principle who was black. Mr. Jones was a very competent principle. He treated us all equally harsh when we got out of hand. I developed a great deal of respect for him and contribute his leadership in making my high school years one of the best periods of my life. I am in my 60s now and am well educated and traveled. I can say with a good deal of certainty that in the south today the extreme racist are few, and on the fringe of society. Unfortunately, I think this makes them more dangerous. On the other hand, much of the north is still segregated. Some may disagree, but it is the reality.

I've spend a lot of time in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee -- and I still remember that I heard the "N-Word" more in my hometown of New Britain, Connecticut when I was growing up than I've ever heard in any Southern city or town.

Milwaukee, like Chicago and other large blue cities, is primarily afflicted by black on black crime... hard to call that racist, but it never stops the left from doing so.

It is hugely expensive to live in Hawaii in general. So many people want to live therep(mostly white) and nearly everything has to be imported. I had a cousin who lived there when he worked for the government. When he retired the air force offered to resettle him anywhere he wanted. Instead of staying in Hawaii, he picked a rural place about 60 miles east of San Francisco, because it was so much cheaper.
@@redyurt5367 I didn't know they would do that kind of thing either. It may have had something to with his job for the air force. He worked in their communications. That means he was privileged to a lot of secret information and documents. He had been with them for over 20 years. It was probably their way of showing their appreciation and at the same time to keep an eye on him after he retired.
@@redyurt5367 Hawai'i is considered a field site by DoD. If you retire while based there, the government will ship you to any (or at least most) location in the mainland. It would be the same as if you retired while based in Europe or Asia. I think it has more to do with the logistics of travel than anything else.
So the sentencing statistics are skewed and have been for a long time. The statistic cited by people to claim blacks face twice as long a sentence fails to take into account prior felonies or affiliation with a criminal organization, both of which will almost always increase length of sentence. When you consider those two factors, sentencing is much more similar. It is almost exactly the same when you also take into account the relative socio-economic status and education level of the defendant. The major issue in the US is the different treatment of different socio-economic classes. An impoverished black person and impoverished white person will be tend to be treated unfairly by the system. Meanwhile, Lebron James and Elon Musk will get away with far more than you, me or any person in the US regardless of ethnicity. The treatment is disparately apparent in the African American community because decades of discrimination has ensured that far more African Americans have a lower socio-economic status than any other ethnicity. The only way to change that is for the African American community to do what the Asian American community has done, which is basically generate self-sufficient, self-promoting enclaves. This is why the Asian American community sees immigrants come to the country and work in menial or unskilled labor jobs, then the kids are suddenly doctors, lawyers or researchers. However, US popular culture deliberately continues to push African American youth away from this, and a lot of that is propagated by the African American community. For example, the emphasis on rap or sports as a way to advance, even though only a miniscule percentage make it in those fields. The emphasis should be as it is in the Arab and Asian American communities: on scholastic achievement and education as a way forward. A far higher percentage can achieve this. These people then need to be encouraged (as Asian Americans are) to return to their community to invest and grow their business and careers. This creates a community system that becomes self-supporting and cyclic as each generation adds to the community. It is a huge part of the reason that the Asian American and Arab American communities are the only minority group that consistently outpace whites in nearly every socio-economic metric (home ownership is the one exception, which may be due largely to the large number of legacy white homeowners). Notably, these two communities also outpace whites in percentages of four years and higher degree holders (you ever notice that half your doctors at a hospital are Arab or Asian?).
I lived in West Helena for under a year once with my husband his family live there on his mother's side. His brother paid extra money to live in an area of town. Where only the white peopleolivia's dinner area of town we're homely black people ahead. We're white. Everybody looked at us funny and was scared of us. There later we found out we actually lived in the middle of the king territory down there and we would walk down the street with our 3 kids. Cause we didn't have a car and we would walk every week. 2 miles down the road to Walmart. And biological groceries that we needed for the week. And walked back and we would wave and say hi to the men with rifles setting on their porch. Which we? Knew was not normal, but we'd still wave and say hi and be a light thinking. Maybe this would keep them from shooting us and we go to the Store. We come back home and we'll be nice on the way back home. You know, come to find out they were all drug. Lord people and the reason they didn't bother us was because we were the crazy white people that lived there and. They were afraid we were either the cops.Or crazier than that's what we were told right before we moved which I find quite funny. We even went to the black church.😂😂😂😂 I actually really liked it there for the most part. I hated the heat. The humidity is horrible and they were a few other things. I didn't like there the library. Having less books than I did was awful but there were some nice things there. And I liked the people that I was around in the Portage town. I was around. They were nice.
@@lauracrabtree1040 I drove to Elaine to commemorate the centennial of the race massacre that happened there. When we got there, the only road that led to Elaine was blocked-off for construction, but there wasn't any equipment. Everyone had to take a 15 minute detour through this maze of cow fields to get there. The African American preacher who spoke said he had been black too long to think that was a coincidence. He had armed bodyguards. I found out later that there were two truckloads of white folks in white trucks who drove very slowly by the cultural center we were in. As I drove back I kept looking at the wealth gap evidenced by the houses on elevated ground across the street from the houses that looked like they were barely above the flood basin. I looked at all the huge cypress trees that were in the river and wondered how many souls they preside over that perished seeking refuge from the mob.
I had the misfortune of living for two years in Jacksonville, Florida, when my company closed down the former main office in New Jersey and paid for me to relocate there. There were only 4 people in my department, and I was the only Jewish person. The black maintenance person had to paint over the racist and antisemitic graffiti, including swastikas, on a weekly basis in the bathroom that my department used. Furthermore, I had to drive past billboards going to work that were tagged with huge swastikas. I hated living there. Right after I moved, the mayor (who was actually quite a reasonable person) decided that black college students didn't have anywhere to go for Spring Break, so he thought it would be a great idea to turn Jacksonville into a 'destination' vacation spot for black universities. Cool idea, except that the students discovered when they got there, that the police and residents were not quite as welcoming as the mayor, and they spoke up about how terribly they were treated. BTW, there is racism EVERYWHERE. When I was a high school student, I attended a summer science symposium at Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland Ohio. I expected (and mostly met) some really smart students there from all over the country. Unfortunately, I also met this one white kid who bragged that when he got home, he would prove to his father that he wasn't afraid to shoot 'n*****s'. I CERTAINLY did not want him to ever find out I was Jewish. Obviously, I kept my distance. Also, while growing up in suburban New York, I witnessed a race riot IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. I had no idea just how racist my neighbors were, until one family decided to move out and rumor had it that he was selling his house to a black family (note that most people probably never realized that we already had a black family living there -- I only knew because I was part of the literary magazine at my high school, and they guy was a talented dancer and poet and actually was the editor of the literary magazine. Anyway, one of my good old neighbors threw a brick through a window of the family's house, and either the same or different person vandalized their car by slashing the tires. My family has always been very liberal, and my dad (who actually had been honored by a church in Harlem for representing them in a case) decided to go out and confront the people who were rioting and tried to calm them down. I was watching the whole thing through my bedroom window, afraid for what might happen. Soon, they did quiet down and everyone went home. But I never saw our neighbors again in the same way.

That sucks I live in the Jacksonville metro area and I feel pretty comfortable hanging out with people outside my race. I heard the police aren't too fond of blacks in low income areas. I'm so sorry to hear you had to deal with that as a Jewish man.

Over a twenty five year period of working as a healthcare provider you can surely write a book on the good, the bad and the ugly. One small community in North Mississippi has been under the advisory for 2 months. This is the norm though. Not only will the tap water make you sick but oftentimes the water coming out of the taps looks like river water and ruins clothing being washed. There's alot of corruption and theft within local water providers in Mississippi. If people knew who was monitoring their water, they'd NEVER drink it.
I am born and raised in Milwaukee and when I tell you this is so true, it is. I retired in 2021 from the police department and nothing to much has changed. Some areas here are not accepting to other races moving there (suburbs). Crime is not low here anymore, it has changed alot since working on the department for 30 years.
Who is commiting the crimes?
I also live near Milwaukee. The local press reports daily murders and thefts committed by Black residents of Milwaukee's North Side. Many of those criminals come up to Milwaukee from Chicago's crime ridden South Side. Milwaukee is a town willing to "pay a fair day's wage for a fair day's labor". That includes ANYONE, Black or White. The problem is: The "Black Community" fosters criminals and murderers...not skilled labor or professionals. That means he was privileged to a lot of secret information and documents. He had been with them for over 20 years. It was probably their way of showing their appreciation and at the same time to keep an eye on him after he retired.
i also heard you have stuff rust alot faster there too and have to constaly replace your car.
@@nightmarerex2035 Not really, just wash it occasionally, like anywhere else. Should last a long time.
@@redyurt5367 Hawai'i is considered a field site by DoD. If you retire while based there, the government will ship you to any (or at least most) location in the mainland. It would be the same as if you retired while based in Europe or Asia. I think it has more to do with the logistics of travel than anything else.
Just stopped in to have a look, stay to the end. And now my head is spinning. What a fine job you've done I wish everybody I know would watch this.
It's... almost all complete garbage, twisted stats, half truths and outright lies...
This is one of the most overblown videos I've ever seen. Made by a coward too afraid to use his real name and trying to divide and stir up trouble.
Arkansan here. shocked but not surprised you opened with Harrison.
How does that shock u? It's clearly the most racist 😂

Jacksonville has been "Red lining" for years !
Reside in the state of insanity known as Florida
Racist..it's full of places that still think it's the 60s .
My parents were good people and racism wasn't part of our upbringing
Complicity is an endorsement
JACKSONVILLE IS VERY RACIST...I'VE SEEN COUNTLESS WHITE PEOPLE BEATEN, ROBBED AND STABBED IN THIS CITY. NOT SAFE AT ALL FOR WHITE PEOPLE
That sucks I live in the Jacksonville metro area and I feel pretty comfortable hanging out with people outside my race. I heard the police aren't too fond of blacks in low income areas. I'm so sorry to hear you had to deal with that as a Jewish man.
