The window perches are hit in my house I always find my cats there. I got mine on Amazon and didn’t do anything special to the suction cups, I don’t have the one you mentioned mine is netted and suction cups are replaceable and only had to replace the one that got damaged when someone came and opened the window 🤦♀️

Marley loves laying in the window, so we made sure his window bed is in a sunny spot. But he's 16lbs and the suction cups aren't always very strong.

The bed we had for our kitty, we made sure was a safe zone for her so nobody could touch her when she was in there. She often ran to it when she had enough of us and wanted to be alone.

i think your other cat didn't like it as much as that cat is much smaller, probably didn't feel as "cozy" as it felt for the first cat who filled it up. If you had gotten 2 of those beds at the 2 sizes, the smaller cat might have liked the smaller bed much more.

The smell of the wool cat cave is lanolin, the natural oil on sheep. You would have to scald the bed in boiling water to remove the oil.
my cat has one specific bed that he LOVES because he likes to suckle on the material and that's the only time he will ever purr. it just relaxes him a lot and i'd love to find the same bed so he can have them around the house. because i love him a lot lol
No matter how good the beds I gave them, my kitties still prefer boxes🤦♀️😅

I have the heated bed, and it is a big hit my arthritic senior kitty. Had it for a few years and washed it several times. Recommended! I also have a felted cat cave similar to one you reviewed. My little boy cat likes to hang out in there.

Nicely done video and I ordered 3 K&H self-heating beds. My dear, you might mention that they are 100% polyester. Knowing not that much about that fiber l asked Google ls Polyester Toxic. Holy moly!!! I AM RETURNING THEM!
Great recommendations! I bought the EZ window sill and the Armakat bed. My cat is completely obsessed with the bed. Perfect size and makes her cozy and safe.

I have the round warning bed. Quinn is in all the time. I like my room on the cool side so I got the warming bed and it sits on the end of my bed. It gets lots of use. Love it
Oh my Goodness this video is great.. Wessey and Forest are just so cute to watch. I’m tempted at looking at the heated beds but my cat already has so many beds and condos in every room of my house 😂.
I have a similar window bed and both of my cats absolutely love it! They also use a round fleece bed (the “anti anxiety bed”), the dog’s bed (!) and any other surface that suits them - like my bed lol. Great reviews!
The four cats I've had all seem to dislike certain materials, especially microfibers. I'm always worried I'll spend a lot & they'll hate it.
I have the K&H double kitty sil and they LOVE it. One of my cats spends hours there every day and the other uses it at least a few times a week. They are 11 month old kittens and play and wrestle and jump on it all the time. No problems with the suction cups.
So I’d spent so much money on cat beds my cat refused to use. When we moved I had to use a disposable litter box while all our stuff got shipped over and he kept trying to go to sleep in it. So to try and get him to stop by buying a second paper litter box and filling it with blankets. Turns out that’s all he wanted this entire time 🙃

Wessie looks sooo cute his heated bed!! I got K&H self-warming pad for my cats. It's a must have for trips outside during colder days! We used them inside my cats' carriers and backpacks and they love it! Makes them comfy and cozy during the trip! My cats also love K&H EZ mount window perch! I got them two kinds! One is similar to the one you showed in the video, but it has two layers so they won't have to fight for one spot. The other is a window perch and a scratching board. They love both of them so much. I would say they spend 90% of their time on the window perches and love looking out of the window across the yard and see dogs playing in the dog park🙈🙈

I have a few cat beds for my kittens. I have a little bed that is also a cocoon, which they hid away in after I just adopted them. Then I bought the heating pad by K&H, they sell it separately from the cat bed as well, and I tucked the heating pad into the cubby in their cat tower and covered it with a small blanket. And I bought 3 of the window sill beds, and they love those things.

I have 2 window perches I highly recommend them. You can buy them on Amazon and the suction cups are replaceable. My cats love them I bought blankets to put on top! ❤️ FYI I didn’t buy the one mentioned mine are more netted.
Highly recommend the Thermotex infrared heated cat bed, older cats love it.

I've used the k&h bed, but it seemed kind of small. I've had the best success with K&H heated pads. My cats love these. I've found that having cat beds around the house helps cut down on the amount of human furniture I have to vacuum. I take all these kitty furnishings with me when I travel; it helps my furry buddies be respectful of their surroundings when we stay in airbnb's and with friends.

My Colby sometimes has his afternoon nap under my bed, on top of my luggage. It's a tiny dark space that's pretty inaccessible. Apparently a couple tried to adopt him a couple months before I did and returned him after three days because they thought he spent too much time under the bed. Idiots.

We just got the kitty sill a few weeks ago and Kit is a big fan. He likes using it to stretch himself up and stand against the window and watch for pigeons on the roof. Do have to be careful to get a really good seal on the cups, but once you do it will take a beating. I put 24 cans of cat food and my toolbox on it and it didn't budge.
I also have 2 of the K&H self-warming pads that get a fair bit of use. Other than that, we have a PetFusion scratch lounger and a sort of cube bed by Smiling Paws with a pad in it that is a favorite for Kit to knead. Colby is intimidated by the small entry of that one, though. Lately their absolute favorite place to sleep is this $10 microfiber blanket I got to layer on my bed that I just put on the couch for a minute while I put my laundry stuff back in the closet and they both claimed, though, because...cats.
You read my mind! I have been looking at cat beds online, and was wondering which was best. The heated bed looks cool but seems small, my cat Sushi likes to stretch out.

The round bed has gone through the washer several times. It comes apart to wash it. Great purchase
I've bought the K&H heated beds for my cats for years. They are really solid and my cats love them. It takes a while for them to figure it out. The wool caves are another huge hit as a cave or flat. Scaredy cats have gained confidence in them as well.
I got the Armarkat for my former stray who likes to hide, but he would hardly ever use it unless we were on different floors of the house. It was really cozy though, so as soon as I cut an escape flap in the back and he figured out he had an escape route, he started napping in it all the time! Tip for owners of paranoid cats!

I had the wool felt cave , my cats would sit on top of it but not go inside --- ever. For my gals they like the self heating pads.
I bought 2 flat quite big comfy beds for the kitties to stretch on instead of taking space on bed but we'll see how that will work out...
we had the kh heated bed, we called it the "hot tub" and we even had the self reflective pad. Our cats loved them so much theyd regularly fight over them. One thing to note is that you should be able to purchase the heating pad to insert into other places your cat may enjoy , which is something we did with great success. We had been looking into felted wool beds, mostly caused by getting a pair of wool slippers of which our older female cat went CRAZY for. We wondered why she was so attached to the wool slippers and it seems to be that natural wool fibers, such as the felted wool bed you pictured, will have a natural smell, for instance Lanolin. Studies have actually shown that some cats, not all, can be addicted to wool specifically for the natural coating of Lanolin and for its natural heat retention properties. Your cats may just not be attracted to lanolin, just like some cats are not attracted to catnip. I have one cat attracted to wool lanolin and catnip both ( my girl), and my younger boy cat could not care less about either!! its just a specific animal trait!

I bought my little tiger one of the Thermo Kitty beds a year ago, but could never get him to try it. Today I finally saw him in it! Will see how long this lasts. He usually prefers the couch, but I see him trying other spots from time to time.🐯
Following up: It's become one of his new faves! I think the secret is I moved it under one of the bedside tables. So, it's now a private heated kitty area.

Tbh I don’t trust the suction cups. I have a small cat tree right by the window. Amazon has small ones that are very affordable & work perfectly for this. For the heated bed, I recommend the first option. It’s a hit with all of my cats!!! 😺😺😺

My two cats sleep anywhere. Usually on the bed or couch next to me. They also sleep on the floor or on a window perch.
what if ur cat always wants to sleep in the bed with you? I don't think I could even get my cat to use a cat bed with how much he lays in my bed lol. Idk if its a bad thing to let my cat sleep with me but that's what makes him happiest.
Nah my cat i had had memory foam pad from physical therapy dept , walgreens heating pad underneath if needed , fiber optic cieling form walgreens lamp i got one xmas , a mosquito see thru black veil surrounding the canopy with snug entry slit for insectless environment and a tweed entry pad to stretch n pop his back n sharpen / clean his claws
My cat cannot decide where to sleep. We bought two beds and he likes hut more than the open bed. I am not even sure where he sleeps at night, sometimes on blankets, beside me, and under the bed.

I have one of those window shelves and I think the biggest issue is the wires/straps on the side. My cat is a little older and she doesn't every seem to wanna jump up on it on her own and I've noticed that when she wants to get off it, she struggles finding a good way to go off the side because of the straps. I've seen other window beds that are more like baskets and I wanna try one of them to see if my cat is more comfortable with the unobstructed sides

I ended up going for a big ole comfy donut-style bed. The inside cushion is removable & reversible; makes washing easier and allows me to put cat-nip below it.
Ordered today from Amazon and it was only around $16 (WINDRACING brand 21inch length "Crown Shape" bed). It's nice and deep, which rules as Charlie-Cat is a big lady 🐱
Cant wait to receive it and seeing my gal rest happily. Placing it by her favourite window.

Can you do a reg pet vacuum and or steam cleane!?!? Maybe even hard floor pet cleaners. Maybe a video on best carpet and urine cleaning solutions too. I own 6 cats and foster many different animals. These things are a must for pet parents!! When I've had kittens and puppies it's hard to find a solution to get out pet messes from carpets fabrics and furniture. We may have pets but we don't want live in a house that smells like a zoo

You should test some CatIt products! They have a few litterboxes, carriers and cat furnitures that I would really like to know more about. They seem pretty good but I would like an experienced opinion before purchasing!
