- The plaintiff claims her brother’s friend, the defendant, drove her car without permission and abandoned it on the side of a freeway. The vehicle was damaged as a result, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant admits he drove the car and left it on the side of the road. However, the defendant believes he is not responsible for the damages because the vehicle was acting up.
I understand being yound and irresponsible, but what the defendant said at the end was just plain stupid. It speaks volumes about his character

I can understand why many folks lives go left once a love one passes on. But living a destructive life as a way of mourning won't make the situation any better nor will it bring that love one or loves ones back. It just makes the already tough circumstance that much more difficult. Nonetheless despite the defendant's loss, what he did here in this case was despicable and has no defense for leaving the plaintiff's vehicle abandoned.

How is he not responsible when he got in her car without permission? Like how did you even get the keys to the car? Then had the nerve to leave it on the side of the street saying it ran out of gas. So within 2 days you couldn’t go to the gas station, get gas and came back to fill the car up to take it back home?! To me sounds like some inside job on stripping her to get money for it!
