Thanks Joe, I'll do a nice burn out for you once its tuned right!
I bet your neighbors love the sound of that big block.
Yes they do!!!!

I was aghast at first with the modifications to this old classic car but I’m impressed with the results.well done my friend
Many Thanks!
Clean and mean!
I can’t hardly wait to go for a cruise with you Ray. I installed the Strange S60 and Cal Tracs in the Charger and now working on the glass and interior.
Great progress Dave, I cant wait to see it!

@@RaysGarage 😁👍👍
Great progress Ray, thanks. Sorry to miss you at the Bash the last 2 years. I know that you have been dealing with outside issues. Hope to see you in 2024. In the meantime, stay safe and cool in our current California climate.
Thanks, I plan on being there in 2024!!!
Lookin great Ray.
Thanks Terry!!!
Gotta love the sound of a Flowmaster!
Thanks Mark!!!
Nice setup. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Tony, Going in for body and paint next month!!!
Cant wait to see it buddy. @@RaysGarage
Well done sir! She’s beauty and sounds great!
Thank You!
You really knocked out that project. Can’t wait to see you give it a good launch
Many thanks Brian! After break in I’ll give it the beans, on video of course!
Ray, your car sounds good. You have come a long ways with It ,in a short time !! Good for you and good luck !! my friend.
Many Thanks, I just disassembled the car again for body and paint, killed me to do it but have to take it over the finish line!
You can tell you really put some work into that car, especially the underside. I bet you hate to take it apart, but like you said, get the body work paint done, and your plan will be finished. Can't wait to see the car done. I'm in the process of still doing metal work on my Nova. I'm welding in
the deck filler panel goes on to the package tray. I gotta take the front fenders off so I can do the cowl .but I'm almost done with the metal work, so I'm grateful for that!! Anyhow, take care, Ray, and God bless
@@Novarider72 Thank you and the best of luck with your build, keep on forging ahead my friend!!!!
That exhaust sound awesome! Sweet job
Many Thanks!
Nice Ray looks and sounds great.
Amazing how fast you got this together Ray. I can't imagine how to better build a car, did not know of many things you did here. Simply the best ever, congrats!
Many Thanks Mark!!!!
Sounds great Ray. Wish mine idled like that.
Thanks Doug, This engine has a huge cam and idles at 850 RPM. You can feel it in your chest when your standing next to the car!
It would be dangerous with the proper set of headers/collectors
subed Very nice ride nice work
Thanks!!!
Sounds awesome. What a job you have done, well done
Many Thanks!!!
Personally, I'd be in no rush for pimpin the paint. I like the idea of driving something that looks like a mutt, but is all a shredded pitbull within. Like Mad Max's Interceptor. Drive it anywhere I want incognito...no worries about stone chips or parking lot dings...people and cops think it's a klunker, but I know it screams and drives like a dream. 😎
I like the sound of that, thank you!!!!
This is a extreme sense of details and perfection. Work of art. Good job. Do you dare to drive this when it`s done? ;)
Thank you, Yes I plan on driving it on nice days but by no means a daily driver!
Hey brother great build. Question did you have any issues with the trailing arms hitting the body frame? Did you reinforce the leaf spring pockets ? Thanks !
I installed the Ridetech 4-Link cradle with double adjust bars, the lower bars install into the front leaf spring pocket, I also installed the Ridetech sub frame connectors which completely replaces the factory front leaf spring pocket. Its a very strong well built system and have no fitment or operational issues with plenty of clearance with the factory sized Tanks Inc. EFI fuel tank.
Wanted to ask what your budget was, if you wouldn't mind sharing..?
Hi Mark, I started with a completely stock 70 Nova with a 307 two barrel carb and TH350 trans, it was running and driving. My original budget with purchase of the car was $50K including all the upgrades. That budget was blown and now in it $75K with the body work and paint still not complete. I did all of the work myself except for the front end alighment, body and paint work. I could have done the car for a lot less but set out to do it right. It is amazing how the small stuff really starts adding up and also have about 2500 hours in the car to date. I hope this info helps you with your build! Best Regards, Ray
My Nova also has the rear shifted to the passenger Side, did you adjust the upper control arms in the ridetech to move it over?
Yes, Ridetech's 4-link is fully adjustable. I also started out centering the new QP 9" to the DSE Mini tubs so I only had to make minor adjustments to get the rear axle centered with the correct pinion angle.
@@RaysGarage Thank you, I love your channel! Beautiful Nova you're building there.
I have another question Ray. I have my lower ridetech bar in the middle hole, I see you moved it to the upper most hole now, what made you move it up a hole?
@@iramirez95020 Ridetech recommends that when the car is on the ground you want the bar straight/level with the car for daily driving. Move it to the lower hole for drag racing.
