I live in Atlanta and was stationed in Yongsan Seoul. I’ve been everywhere and Korea will forever be my favorite. The people are so nice, the food is so good, and it’s amazing. Wish I had the money to go back because I’d love to see my Katusa friends.
This is my hack in any Korean convenience store. I grab my favourite instant noodle (generally red shin ramen) and grab 2 spicy chicken samgak gimbaps the triangle gimbaps. I will make the ramen, open up the gimbap and release one into the soup, you will never taste anything so glorious. The second one is just for me as a side.

Out of everywhere I’ve been the people were so kind, the food so good, and I wish I could go back. If I had the plane money and hotel money for 3 days I’d love it. Is there any vegetarian kimbap? It's literally my dream to try them (and also so many other things I see in a Korean convenience store videos). There's nothing like that in my country

What is rice cakes? From seeing it in so many videos it’s looks like it has the texture of a thick spaghetti noodle.. I’m tempted to try it but I don’t want to cringe at the texture
