Using the google translate app is a really good tip it helped me a lot during my trip to Korea earlier this year. Also, just get a Sim card. Using Google Maps made using public transport so much easier and avoided us getting lost. Keep in mind you can't make a route if you wanna walk from one place to another.
If you can write or read Korean, or if you can use a translator in a hassle, I recommend naver map. It is an application that Koreans use and is more accurate and detailed.👍🏻

I do go outside and all, I just wanna have the option of staying inside if the weather is too bad and I don't like carrying my groceries when it's this cold. Technically, as long as the running water, the internet (I work from home) and the heater doesn't stop working, I could go without leaving my house until mid-march. I have around 50 packets of the ramen in the video, around 50 smaller ones of spicy chicken, 30 of tom yum shrimp and I'm down to 14 of the black extremely spicy ramen. (I love those. I usually eat them when I'm really cold, but I can't eat a whole serving at once because I'd start bleeding like crazy😅)
