Can you explain in a more specific way how your blue tethers are moving in Delta? I'm specifically watching the video footage at around 4:41. - You and R.E. are tethered and are the "far" pair - L.H. and C.E. are tethered and are the "close" pair What's throwing me off is that everyone appears to be in the correct spots but I see C.E. move at the last second above R.E., so I'm not sure who's fist is who's at that point.
C.E moved because the game has a huge delay when it comes to showing the movement of other people. You can see R.E move even further away to make up for that. Look at the picture in 4:27 . The 2 blue tether people that are sandwiched between the 2 other blue tethers are the "inner" tether pair. The 2 further north and south (relative to the eye) are the "outer" tether pair. The inner tethers stand next to the marker. One stand slightly south of the marker while the other stand slightly north of the marker. The 2 outer people stand far enough away so you can clearly see which fists belongs to whom when they spawn. Once the fists spawn, you, as the inner tether guy, look at the outer tether person closest to you and check if you have different colored fists. If yes, you stand still. If no, you swap places with the other inner tether person you are paired with. The outer tether players do nothing until their tether breaks. Once the outer tethers broke, the outer blue tether players have to immediately move ontop of the inner tether guy that's close to them. When the aoe below them spawns, they can then move to omega M who is in the middle of the arena. You 2 are already conveniently positioned so one of you starts off further south while the other one is further north of omega M (relative to the eye still). So just keep walking towards omega M while keeping that formation with your partner because omega M will do an attack on one of you and if the other one is too close, it'll knock them away and kill them. After that hit, all 4 blue tether people follow the same strat again. The inner blue tether people keep standing in their formation (after the potential swap because of fist colors) until the yellow aoe appears below them. Once it does, they fan out north and south (relative to the eye). The northern blue tether person will bait the north spinny hand and the south blue tether person will bait the south spinny hand. You break your tether naturally with the correct timing by trying to bait the hands. So no need to look at any vulns or thrice come ruins. Once your hands are baited, you go back to middle for the stack and follow the same strat as the other blue tether pair. Thanks for the amazing guide, but I have a quick question regarding Trio 2 in phase 5 Are the number of people being (1 or 2) Always on the same towers for example in mid on 4 tower side Are the inner towers always 1 1 and outer are 2 2 I’m assuming it is since the macro is a thing but I just would like confirmation thnx
BIG FAN RINON
The way you breakdown the Dynamis Jumps are really good. Definitely something that can be considered for PF strats as well
Another absolute banger
thanks a lot, we have reached p5 just Yesterday and this will help us not Despairge too much
Patch notes say they fixed the bug after second trio, so it shouldn't matter anymore which tank gets hit first/second.
Can you make chapter tags for Run: Delta-Sigma-Omega? Thank you so much for putting out the guides so quick and the effort put in Rinon
Updated with them!
Can't wait for my group to spend two full days of prog in the xivsim running these mechanics
Rinon is just too good
Hey Rinon, could you help me find the picture you use of final omega looking like a player portrait? It looks so funny to me I really want it

Great guide :)
One question about trio 1: What do you do if the last christmas tether to break has one (or both) of the hello near/far debuffs?
We've never had this scenario occur, the Near and Far Hello World in Trio 1 locks onto blues unless there are deaths in every pull sample we could get
@@RinBanana Perfect, thank you!
i miss dsr p6 man
What a nightmare lol
80% of groups wont even get there since the enrages of the first 4 bosses are so fked.
The salt is real with this one.
The enrages aren’t that bad
get good
no fking way PF can do this without auto markers. Good job SquareEnix forcing addons use on the community!
