@brayan9274 Rancho aka Celero. Super beginners friendly, gravel bike goes here. Google and map out a loop you like. The 2nd biggest loop is about 10 mi thats what i mostly ride and is call Lisa Killough Trail, but is 1 way trail, so goes right. Most trail here are green not much downhill!!! If you want down hill goes across the street to Santa Teresa!!!! Have fun!

That brings back some memories! I haven’t ridden there in 12-15 years. Looks like parts of that crack have gotten washed out a bit more since then. Those marbles in the rut were always my nemesis. Took me down a few times.
First time I rode the crack was on my Mountaincycle Shockwave. I remember helping dirtbag Matt cut back poison oak on XXX before it was a thing. I feel old now.
100 meters pass on that entrance more technical trail to the left. And it’s steeper that that. Let me know if you wanna that trail too. Might be over grown by now.

That trail never gets easier because it's always changing. Winter time wrecks this trail and you gotta re learn it again.
The one that runs parallel to this 1st trail is very spicey too, steeper. And no it's not the climbing trail that crosses this one. It's a separate trail only intersects at the bottom exit.
Proper steeps even on the GoPro effect!
Me and my non- broken collar bone have no desire to go down that trail!
Why do people get mad with sharing trails besides selfishness? So dumb… we should be sharing so the sport continues to grow
Some of these trails aren't legal so they are not maintained by builders. When beginners go down techy trails they shouldn't ruins the dirt and make ruts that can't be taken out without a lot of work. The builders of these trails don't want to maintain this trail frequently, so keeping this trail known to only a few people keeps the trail running well for advanced riders who actually should be riding the trail. There are plenty of other trails on the mountain to ride.

Ruts are just part of deal, plenty of oft-ridden “unsanctioned” trails in Pacifica & UCSC, keeping them less discovered helps keep them from being deliberately destroyed by “authorities”.
