This is a step in the wrong direction, not horizontally, vertically, it was a step down. it would have been better to get a contract with a private Ducati team. Toprak left for good reasons.

Looking at the practice it seems like Rea in the R1 has a different cornering form compared to the Zx10rr... In the Green, the Zx10rr dives deeper in the corner.. Now in Blue, the R1 seems to dive less.... Or is it just me, seeing Rea in a new/different bike...
Hello Mr Rea, I've noticed a few things with top motorcycle professionals is that riders aren't actually going in a straight line on the straights, they're going from one side of the track or the other before returning to the racing line, what's the reason for this? also there's always some audible rpm increase when the bikes are kind of leaning, is it related?
The RPMs rise because as the tyre is leaned over the effective diameter is reduced which sorta shortens the gearing. I assume the swerving is done because you can accelerate (harder) with less front wheel lift if the bike is at an angle rather than fully upright

Yeah, he got 6 crowns before Bautista rode his Ducati. He failed on the last 3 years and it would be difficult next season.

having some slight lean when accelerating into a straight is a good way of avoiding excess wheelie
