Really glad you got to sample the bike, Simon-was nice to live vicariously thru you. The commentary was enough to give a good flavor to the bike, it sounds like the dynamic experience is a lot like what the bike looks like when it's being raced. You comments about needing the out-lap to warm everything up really puts the emphasis for us on it truly being a Warm Up Lap rather than a 'sighting lap'. Sounds like it would suck to leave the starting line in a race without that lap to get the brakes and tires up to temperature.

So glad we have a guy who can give us weekend racers a little insight into what it's like to ride a modern GP bike. Hopefully he gets to ride more of them soon.

Simon, you are such a joy to watch and listen. MotoGP is so fortunate to have ex-rider so passionate and capable to transend to us mere mortals the magic of Moto GP. Thank you maestro!

WITHOUT a doubt, Simon has the absolute greatest job on the planet, and deservedly so - Could u imagine hop skipping all over the planet, getting all the insights on the current Moto Gp technology, and finishing off each race weekend by getting to interview the race winner and podium finishers - AND getting some laps on a full blown factory APRILLA at MUGELLO?? life doesn't get any better than that
