Welcome back to Finland! Be prepared if you plan to stay for several days, because next week the temperature in there can vary between -25°C (-13℉) and -30°C (-22℉), but may be even lower. 🥶 So dress very warmly when you go out! ☺

Going ice swimming on -40: when walking slowly to 'avanto' your skin cools down so the water feels actually "warm".
On Vaasa there was last week about that -30°C (-22℉) and now it this week it is not anymore that cold
Next week Lapland is promised temperatures between -35˚C to -50˚C… Stay warm!

I'm waiting for the next episode! This winter has been more snowy than average here in the southern Finland too. I guess we have now about 40 cm/15 inches of snow here near Helsinki.

It`s gonna be pretty cold next week, -35C in Lapland, perfect weather to go ice swimming as the water is +30C warmer than the air :)

There are no Flixbus buses in Romania? I think it was possible to get out on a comfortable bus a day later without any major changes in plans

1st world problems… you’re waiting inside, you have food and money to buy food, you are travelling on an airplane… one day doesn’t really make a difference in your life, here or there or where ever you spend it. Just take it as an adventure, like your life is. I hope you like my home country Finland. No need to worry about our eastern pirate neighbour, they have too many problems now and we are NATO.

We are ready
As a married couple it must be difficult on your children with all the travel. As we learn in God's perfect word that children in a marriage are the reward from God. So if you can make the travel work with the kids all the better. I guess there is homeschooling options etc.
We don't have children yet but God blesses us with them, we will definitely bring them with us :)
