Now bro he was trash.. rso made men.. 🗑
There was a lot of great underground hip hop songs from Boston in the late 80s and early 90s, RSO made none of them.
Why are BP not owning their own talent ???
At that time I think it was due to the lack of know how
It costs 750 k to get to radio and another 25k for promotion not to include traveling and other expenses it sounds good but is very difficult to pull off diddy has a tv channel and cant play his artist on
The almighty r.s.o. was 🗑
That beard wasn’t edged right. 😝
Gotti choosing to run with Ja over 50 and the supreme team backing Ja not 50 was their downfall. They went with the fake gangster not the real 1
Benzino was trying to play his kind of ball game. Being half owner of the Source and being a rapper, he was of course bigging himself up with the ratings and to other rappers he was pretty much playing this game with them and if he called them to work with him and they said no, they got 1 or 2 mics and got theyre work dragged in the article because they simply declined Benzino and he would take shit personal. Thats why the Source is no more. He did waaaay too much and played with too many peoples lives. The shit with Em also put the last nail in the coffin and even his own people and the boys who brought that tape to Benzino told his dumb ass not to go that route cause it would destroy his career and everything and look what happened smh it didnt work in his favor at all and Em became an icon and now Zino is getting arrested left and right and evictions and repos like a mofo
I miss the source magazine
Made men an rso was trash.. 0ne 🎤
When hip hop was getting big in the 90s
They was a phenomenon within the fan base. Hip Hop was all about division then. First you had real Hip Hop in one corner. Then you had East Coast west coast over there. But i guess the source kinda cultivated that. The source kinda buried some good bands like Kottonmouth Kings. Showed them no love.

It was the eminem and benzino beef that ended the source and dave mays chose to ride with benzino and made men. Murder Inc, death row records and benzino tried to destroy eminem and it failed.
Damn didn't realize so many ppl said fuck the source lol
WHAT IS HE SAYING???
