I consider myself a craftsman at a few old school skills but you are absolutely on another level sir. Especially for your age, this dude was born with a chisel in his hand.
Most people don't know that this level of skill is necessary to complete training as a stonemason and is standard after 3 years. We need more young people. Off to the stone. I dont want to make u down but inspire others who think this is witchcraft ❤
Probably was born with one in his hand lol. I think it’s awesome when a person who has a talent starts teaching their kid as soon as they learn to grasp lol like I seen a kid who can build a motorcycle motor piece by piece and he’s under ten yrs old and he’s paid to fix ppls bikes lol
Come on man, how’s that fair… look at that guy… probably carves statues for beautiful women, meanwhile I’m over here trying to make network engineering sound interesting.
The art of masonry and stone carveing is being slowly forgotten it is because of people like you that remind us that there was a time where we couldn’t go to the fridge for a snack or drive to the store where we had to worry about every day needs thank you for what you do and keeping this art alive
In a way, all this convenience should open the door for us to be more creative more of the time, just like the Renaissance. People are busy with Jobs, they don't enjoy art, they don't have time for skills, they can't sell stone crafts to people in a city or anywhere local.
It’s cool af to see someone young keep a ancient art alive . It’s really sad how ppl look at things carved from ancient history and think there’s no way a person could do that with just a hammer and chisel when in fact that’s exactly how it was done. Truly a talent ❤
I was totally straight then this guys videos started coming up now I’m gay as can be. Thank you beautiful stone cutter for making my life rainbows and glitter!
Maravilloso que en pleno siglo XXI cuando se habla de inteligencia artificial hay gente joven que rescata el esculpido en piedra dando origen a una obra de arte. Felicitaciones desde Venezuela Suramerica.
In the old days when young man chose their future work people call it...chose an art! Stonework, woodwork, painting, making wine barrels, making, boats, making wagons, blackmith, etc etc were all called "arts" and respected for their worksmanship. These man were the old entrepeneurs as they were able to start their business, and even creating jobs for others, as their learned skills were valuable.
Wirklich tolles Handwerk. Ich wünschte, Steinmetzkunst wäre viel populärer. Es ist uns mit diesen schlichten Bauten echt was verloren gegangen. Liebe Grüße aus Deurschland. (Greetings from germany)
I fell in love with this guy from the first time I saw him. It's just perfect. And I'm not just referring to his physical condition. I'm talking about the way he leaves my eyes and mind paralyzed, hypnotized, melting them into a strange parallel dimension, while he carves the stone with such calm and delicacy that it truly seems as if he caressed my face. It's perfect just the way it is. And you don't have to meet him in person to realize how emotional and down-to-earth he is. He just lets me know through every hit on the marble. Thank you for making this little heart fall in love more and more every day. ❤

I like the way he puts the BG sound of james bond or a Jason Bourne movie related to the location he works at. He would definitely love his work. Respect ++++❤
Sei un gran maestro! Io avevo mio nonno paterno che era scalpellino, questo lavoro l'ha incominciato da ragazzino con il padre. Sei bravissimo!! Mi piacerebbe se faresti una figura sacra! Grazie maestro!
These men are remarkable with their craftsmanship. It sad our children not knowing the ancient civilization know this type of work, this type of beauty, and this type of craftsmanship. Thank for making stone into a work of beauty like the ancient civilization craftsmen have done.
Bro HAS to be of Greek, Egyptian, or Roman origin because that sculpture is honestly so mesmerizing to look at. And his masonry skills are top tier, too, he'd make a killing working for tyrants, emperors, and Pharoahs!
Great art, and in such a perfect location. From the angle it looks like a rooftop in Valleta looking out to Sliema. I was in an AirBNB last time i went diving there.
Wow. The shapes are so smooth, so finely sculpted!
Nice stone btw.

His father was already in the business, the guy didn't start from 0, and if you really believe that you're surely naive.

This reminds me of flint knapping (on a much larger scale, of course).
What types of stone are you always doing these on? They look so soft, even when you male your mark with your pencil the rock is breaking apart...
Most likely limestone. Its so soft you can carve it with your fingernails.
Possibly marble
