Very helpful, I just started UX methodology (I'm a former graphic designer) and not so many people ever talk about how to create efficiently a persona. Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Thank you so much! This is a topic that for me, as a Chemical Engineer developing a product, It's really confusing. Your explanation was so clear that I'm feeling ready to make an effective workshop with my team. ¡Mil gracias!
Please, what is the need of creating a fiction profile, Whereby after during your research you can create real profile with information from real people?
Yet another poor example of personas. One of the more commonly misunderstood and incorrectly done aspects of marketing (and now user research). For the real deal, checkout Buyer Personas by Adele Revella. Sorry Jamal, but you missed the mark here.
Buyer personas for marketing are different from User personas for UX design. Work on your research and social skills rather than attacking strangers on the internet
Buyer and marketing personas are to determine who you are marketing to. UX personas are to ensure your ideal users have an optimal user experience that has been designed with them in mind.
@@JamalNichols You didn't listen. You're missing out on the holy grail of persona effectiveness, and the interview techniques apply regardless of the field. It's not attacking anyone, it's just that you really did give a poor example that leaves a lot to be had. Read the book I recommended and stop being afraid to be wrong about something. You might find you learn something from a stranger on the internet.
@@youknowitsusbrandsllc3111 I’ve read the book. It’s about personas for marketing. Those poor social skills of yours are probably why you’re running a third rate LLC. I can’t imagine any client who has options would work with someone as rude as you are
I loved the lesson and teaching style. Calm, Articulate, and easy to understand.
Love that random flash of an audience member doodling at 14:55
