    Thank you Dr, by listening to yourself and others in this space I have reversed alzheimers. I was diagnosed approx 3 years ago - got 17 on the test and couldn’t minus seven at all or draw the clock face. Now I score 30/30 and I can answer pretty fast now. I started eating low carb then did a thirty day carnivore challenge that became a ninety day challenge. I have a bit of salad if I’m out for dinner occasionally, but I’m essentially very low carb or zero carb the rest of the time. All the best on your health journey - I decided that with nothing to lose and everything to gain, it was worth a try at getting my brain working again. It has resolved around twenty other major health issues also 🥩 👍

    My mom passed away from vascular dementia in 2008. It is one of the most heartbreaking diseases afflicting the elderly. I worked as a nurse in long term care and wished they had better meal plans for the residents. Of course, that was never important to the company I worked for. Shame on them.

    Thank you. Great Imformation, my wife and I have been on a carnivore diet for the last 8 months. She has had short term memory loss for a number of years and just in recent months has been hearing threatening voices and experiencing paranoia.
    Mixing up her memories. In this period she has quite dramatically reduced weight, her blood sugar has also returned to near normal as well as blood pressure. She is in a lot of pain due to her right knee being bone on bone, awaiting knee surgery. additionally caract surgery produced infection on the retina and is not able to see clearly resulting in depth perception issues. Your talk is very encouraging and wondering how much of the knee and eye complications are playing into her mental state?

    • @masterchiefburgess
      @masterchiefburgess 6 місяців тому

      Dr.Mason is correct. Any benefit you might gain, is offset by the potential damages from the oxidation of the oils. A recent study was done (Pim Jannson et.al.), where multiple commercial Omega-3 supplements were selected at random from store shelves and analysed the presence of aldehydes . They found that virtually ALL of the products had at least 2-3 times the acceptable levels present. You'd get a much better benefit from just eating cod liver. Go to Bart Kay's Y.T. page, and search for the article titled "In 5 Minutes or Less - Omega 3 Oils DANGER!!!". Bart details the pilot study and what they discovered.
