Great Version! I heard the Chicago version the other day and was wondering why no one has ever covered this great some. The original solo is really difficult.
Unique voice stamp by Vince Neil ! That's the reason why I'm always and forever still impressed by his vocals signature even if nowadays he could be better live. God bless him :-)
ok I have to say, I am a Chicago fan, and a Crue fan............HOLY SHIT! Vince is rocking this song and bringing two of my fave genres together! Hey and thanks for the upload, I've been looking for this for years!
the guitars were recorded by Brent Woods who did guitars on Carved In Stone and played on that tour. I just spoke with him thru Facebook. If you need a screen shot of the convo find me on Facebook Zander J Carlson.
I always will love Chicago but I think this is a great cover. The pitch of Vince's voice is different than Peter's and may be the one weak spot. Guitar and drums sound great.
Just appreciate it for what it is, a guitar band covering a song they like. I think it is cool that they did it. They could have choose a lesser song or something dopey instead.
wonder how long it took him to cut the vocals. we all know he can't sing anymore. he had to do this song line by line. must have taken a week to get it right.
Great song on an otherwise crappy album. Vince's other two solo albums are awesome, the whole grunge thing doesn't work. Never did. Rock isn't dead, but thank God grunge is.
Great song
Brent wood guitar tune is amazing. !!!
Chicago cover nice like it 😊
One of my alltime covers!!! Unbelievable!!! Just great!
Great Version! I heard the Chicago version the other day and was wondering why no one has ever covered this great some. The original solo is really difficult.
Awesome job,great cover 🤘
Damn fine cover..Vince's voice is electric. When he's good, aint no better.

Amazing song, Vince sounds bad ass.
This is a great cover. Vince did it well.
Love it .....great cover on a great song..they nailed it...thanks 4 posting
Living is a luxury brought me here. Great cover. I have heard this is a killer CD
i actually like this version more than the original
you and me both!!!
ok I have to say, I am a Chicago fan, and a Crue fan............HOLY SHIT! Vince is rocking this song and bringing two of my fave genres together! Hey and thanks for the upload, I've been looking for this for years!
twistedwish20 I cannot BELIEVE HOW GREAT THIS IS!!!! MAN HELL THE ..MAGIC
This fkn rocks..... this such a different song for him..... love it 😎✌️
Put Vince in the studio and magick happens. Great version of this.
Can't stop listening to this well done Vince
I'm a fan of bolth, WOW....Didn't think Vince had it in him. Love bolth versions.
EPIC!!! THIS IS AWESOME!!!
J ai l album ! Terrible, merci Vince❤
Not a bad cover. Wish more people would cover Chicago.
Amen to that! Saw them a few times...kick ass show!
Chicago wishes the same.
Vince did a great job on this, but to attempt a serious cover of Chicago, you'd need a 10 or 12 piece band.
Amazing cover, this rocks
would of been a hit had they released it as a single
it sounds great
Great cover, love it, Love Vince.
Far better than it has any right to be. Backing vocals are on point. Solo is a nice tribute to Terry Kath.
This is much better then I thought it would be.
this is the actual line up of musicians
Vince Neil - lead and backing vocals
Steve Stevens - all guitars, bass guitar
Vik Foxx - drums, percussion
it was off of 93's Exposed
that albums lineup changed, but the track, is the track off of Exposed.
was added cuz it was recorded 3 years earlier on Exposed, quite simple
the guitars were recorded by Brent Woods who did guitars on Carved In Stone and played on that tour. I just spoke with him thru Facebook. If you need a screen shot of the convo find me on Facebook Zander J Carlson.
Even if someone didn't know this was of CIS and not Exposed, it's pretty obvious this isn't Steve Stevens.
Surprised he covered this great job and a great song. Original Chicago guitarist Terry Kath was a bad ass on this song.
caramba que buena canción!!!!
This is a very underrated album.
Not bad! He did a good job on this! \m/
I like this a lot!!!!!!!!!!!
Greatest American rock band ev
Got the album a good 7 years ago. I actually think it's not bad at all. It's got at least 3 excellent tunes, this being one of them!
A like great cover song
I always will love Chicago but I think this is a great cover. The pitch of Vince's voice is different than Peter's and may be the one weak spot. Guitar and drums sound great.
Rick Grosse Peter wasn’t original vocalist on this.
@@b1lt4spd29 Terry Kath
@@b1lt4spd29 yes Peter was. Terry Kath played that blistering guitar solo.
never thought this collab would work, but it did
amazing cover....back up vocals is the spice
Not sure who the guitar player is here, but they are AWESOME!!!!!!
Brent Woods. Formerly of Wildside. Did the tour for this album as well.
@@jayrusnak -- He's been playing with Sebastian Bach for the last 10+ years. He nails every Skid Row solo note for note!
@@antimurphy8212 Brent's a great player. Those solos are nothing for him, I'm sure.
Pretty good cover
Vince Brent Woods Vic Foxx n Robbie Crane on Carved in Stone
Ouch. You sure got me!
Vince did a chicago cover fuck yea anything vince does is fuckin golden !!!
Just appreciate it for what it is, a guitar band covering a song they like. I think it is cool that they did it. They could have choose a lesser song or something dopey instead.
Great cover, Lust for life from Iggy
its even better for me !!!
Ahhhhh.....when Vince could sing. Been awhile.
Glad you agree.
Vince rules!xoxoThe Clarences
I wonder what would of happened if Vince never rejoined Motley and just kept releasing solo albums
Not a big fan of Vince Neils voice but the band is awesome. Love the arrangement to replace the horns with other instruments. Great sound.
I'm not either, but he sounds good here.
W.O.W... HE DID THIS JUSTICE** BONG UP.
Cant find this cover on itunes! 😢
Ytmp3.cc
Is this Brent Woods on guitar?
😮
Is tommey lee in hes slo band
It's typical Vince Neil voice....but the band really takes the cake and saves it for him, in my opinion. They make the song good
His voice sounds damn good in this.
Bullshit!!! He was only the lead singer for Motley Crue, one of the best and most poplar bands of all time!!!!!!
It sounds like Peter Cetera background singing
Peter Criss was once the drummer in KISS. Idk if he is singing background vocals on this song. Could be.... I will have to ask him.
@@cellblocknine5385
Peter Cetera not Peter Criss
wonder how long it took him to cut the vocals. we all know he can't sing anymore. he had to do this song line by line. must have taken a week to get it right.
We all know you can't do anything, how many takes did it take to write a stupid comment
I was afraid you would pick Mad Cow. I guess I am just a worrier.
Too bad they took this and "Lust For Life" off the US release.
need more wah hahahhaa
Cant be enough. Wheres the fuckin cowbell? 😂
Said the teenage girl.
Proof that some people have no taste!
Yep, needs Terry Kath.
Needs Peter Cetera.
Needs James Pankow.
The genius has been rung out of this.
Great song on an otherwise crappy album. Vince's other two solo albums are awesome, the whole grunge thing doesn't work. Never did. Rock isn't dead, but thank God grunge is.
It's only a great song because it's a cover. Original song by Chicago and written by Robert Lamm: ua-cam.com/video/iUAYeN3Rp2E/v-deo.html
Grunge was awesome. And Alice In Chains is still putting out albums and touring, and they're still very popular.
Cool cover, but still no Terry Kath.
in my opinion this is one of the only two good songs on the album
Holy fucking cool. Why wasn't this on the album? The rest of it is a turd.
The vocals are absolutely awful. Sounds like the same electronic effect Ozzie uses. No vocal talent here.
Check your ears, or wear earphone.
Proof that you don't need talent to have a music career.
ProudCanMan1 said the douchebag with no musical experience, who wouldn't no good music if it bit him in the ass.
The rest of the album was terrible
Absolutely terrible! About as bad as Sound of silence by Disturbed.
Motley Crue made music for teenage girls. Not exactly known for their musical taste. They were an embarrassment to metal.
Not as embarrassing as Crapallica!!!
But ur mom sure liked it
Shout at the Devil took the world by the balls, you are so clueless that you should have been in Clueless as a dopey dumb ass guy.
@@shabeth7773
Idiot. Metallica is the greatest and most popular metal band of all time.
